"Interesting site. I've ordered from them about 3 times. Usually they take a couple days to ship items but I live in OK, a few hours away from their location in TX (Dallas area) so it's not a big deal.
One of my orders was for a product that I was told to return to the retailer by the manufacturer (Sandisk 128MB + WiFi CF card). I wrote the RMA department but received no reply. However I found out I didn't include all the requested information. I sent another email with the needed info and I got an RMA within about a day!
Their servers are also very slow. For example, one time when I wanted to order a "bag of crap" I spent 45 MINUTES trying to get through. By the time I finished the order form they were sold out! Also their servers have been slow at certain times.
Edit: I just ordered an item from Woot around 3 am ("mystery" Dell speakers) on Wednesday. And it arrived on Thursday, since they shipped it Wednesday (I live about 4-5 hours from Woot.) Woot!"
"Very dissapointed. They had the Motorola DCP501 at a great price and only $5 for shipping. The receiver was listed as being brand new. Shipping was delayed for a few days, but I could live with that. What I could not live with was that the unit was used. Well used is not a fair description. Heavily used and broken better describes it. The box had a note written on it stating that the DVD player was defective. Inside the box I noticed that the display was scratched, the receiver case was damaged, dented, scratched, etc. On the top of the receiver was a note once again stating that the DVD player was broken. The note was written on the previous owners personal stationary. Tried it anyway. Guess what, DVD player did not work!!!! I contacted Woot, actually 4 times over the next 5 days. Finally received a rude reply stating that the unit had to be dropped off at FEDEX for a free return. No exchange was available, refund would be given 2 weeks later. I don't know if I'll buy from them again since they either lie or don't know what they are selling, and their customer support does not exist."
"Purchased a CF WIFI card, very good deal. Bought on a Friday, they shipped it on Tuesday. Not bad, specially for FedEx ground shipping of $5.00 on everything. Over all I'd recommend them, and will buy from them again."

"I've ordered from Woot! quite a few times and so far i really have no complaints. i must say, i'm not as picky as some other buyers from woot! i KNOW that sometimes my order will take forever to arrive. i KNOW that about 10% of the time there will b a problem w/ my order. i KNOW if there IS a problem w/ my order, i probably wont get a refund cuz their customer svc is slow or dont care or the mfr wont care. this is by NO MEANS a negative review. i absolutely LOVE woot! i just dont have the high levels of expectations that others have. i understand how tough it is to run a small business and keep everyone happy. so i commend woot! for being as good as they are, all things considered. u also have to understand that usually Woot! is just the middle man so if your order is defective, u'll have to go to contact the actual manufacturer. there has been a few cases where the mfr did NOT honor the warranty(the ice cube debacle comes to mind) but that's rare. i just take woot! for what it is...place to get great deals and like ANY online retailer...sometimes u win, sometimes u dont. nothing more, nothing less. bottom line, i love WOOT! but buyer beware."
"Purchased a cordless phone with two handsets form them. They billed me the same day they took the order. Someone else in my office ordered the same thing about an hour after I did. They received theirs, I did not receive mine. I contacted them by email multiple times with no response. I have had to resort to disputing it with my credit card company.
I'm apparantly not the only one who had this problem on this particular offer as others complained in their forum.
when woot works it's great, but if ANYTHING goes wrong, there is absolutely no recourse it would seem. That includes them taking your money and failing to ship a product for whatever reason.

"Ordered an HP5500C scanner. Email notification of the purchase and the billing of my credit card
was prompt and accurate.
Scanner arrived via Fedex. The box was slightly crushed. But, the scanner was not damaged and it works perfectly.
I did not try to contact woot.com about a shipping date. Nor was a shipping date supplied. I bought it on Thursday the 10th and it arrived on Tuesday the 15th! Much sooner and faster than I ever expected.

"I ordered an item from their popular woot-off days on Jan 21st and it didn't get shipped off until 6 days later. I guess they get busy during their woot-offs. I finally received my item on Feb 1st. If they were more organized I'd be very happy with my purchase, but it took them too long to ship it."
"Easy ordering (as long as you don't mind staying up late to snag the better items). Pricing is pretty good, and shipping is a flat rate, no matter the amount ordered. Forums always have information on the product, and you can always see who made the "first page" doing so."
"I placed an order with Woot over a week ago and I am still waiting for some kind of reply. I have E-mailed 3 times with still no respose as to whether my item got shipped, lost or some other problem occured. My credit card was charged, but no E-mail response of any kind. I am more angry that they have not responded to my E-mails. You would think At least they could send an E-mail back. Others may have had a good experience with this company, but I won't buy from them again.

UPDATE: Exactly 8 days later on a Friday WOOT did contact me after the 3rd E-mail, and explained that they were having shipment problems due to the recent California mud slides. They stated that the shipment would be sent out by Monday. It was sent out on Monday by FEDEX and I received my product on Tuesday (11 days later from the order being placed). Based on their information I would have to give them a better rating than I did earlier although they should have answered my E-mails a lot sooner (3 or 4 days at most instead of 8)."
