"I wish I had read all the horrid posts about this vendor.

Nov 15th - I purchased the PSP Pre-Mod on their site. Same day their order system charged through paypal.
Nov 16th - Automated message stated it was 'processed'.
Nov 21st - Sent an email to their Sales@ address inquiring if I would get a tracking number after the 2-10 day ship period.
Nov 27th - Forwarded the email to their ****@**** address in case they did not receive my initial email. Got an automated message stating with a ticket number.
Dec 1st - Received a message from "Jan" stating that there was a 2-10 day building time before shipping, and my system should arive within 1-3 days.

:-(
Day 13 and I am in anticipation.
... They are a 40 minute drive away, I wish I could just pick it up. I wish they would pick up their telephone line.

"11/15/06-I ordered psp pre-mod system on Novemeber 15th 2006 and my credit card was charged on 11/22. I have been sending numerous e-mails regarding my order status but I they have never replied my mails, although it has been more than 10 days since I first sent e-mails to them. I tried calling them but it goes to voice mail...
When I look at other people's review, it seems that they obviously have communication problems and it takes some time even if you receive your product.
I am getting extremely nervous since I am living in Japan and there are not many things I can do apart from reproting to the VISA Card Company regarding this.
It is December 1st today and I don't see my products or any e-mails regarding my order status from them.
X-BOX Modchips.com, if anybody working there see this, please at least reply my e-mails. I will understand if you are backlogged with other orders but please reply my e-mails. $469 is not cheap money. I saved up a lot of money to buy pay this. Please have some respects towards customer.
Viewers of resellerratings.com, I will keep you updated. I would like to be fair, so if I receive my product, or if the problem is solved I will post it. This is the experience that I have so far with Xbox Modchips.com. Thanks

1/10/07: I still have not received the my premodded psp (order #26358). It has been two months since I ordered the product and I don't have the product and they never even sent me any e-mails confirming my order status.
On 12/7/2006, I got an e-mail from Jan telling me that she will look into my order and get back to me with a tracking, but she never got back to me.
Since they are not even willing to send the product or even contact me regarding the order status, I had no choice but to file a complaint to the Credit Card Company on the 1/9/07. Anybody in xbox modchips.com, if you look at this post, please do something about this.

If any of you are thinking about purchasing product from them beware.

"This place is an absolute joke. I placed an order September 4th and asked for it to be Xpress Post by Canada Post. Now the place is located in Etobicoke Ontario, not even a 40 minute drive from where I live, and it has taken 5 days and still no product. Xpress Post states on its website that it will be next day or 2 days max. And the Xbox-modchips.com site claims 24 hour shipment processing. So 24 hours to get ready to ship, 24-48 more for actual shipping to my address and that sure as hell doesnt equal 5 business days. They have "Live Support" which is just a link to their homepage and no such support exists. Not only that but their 1-866 number is a voicemal machine and no one will retun my calls. Their help desk is a horrible program which uses ticket logging to answer questions and even those are not being replied to. All in all I think this place is a scam and would suggest anyone to avoid it at all costs. Shop ANYWHERE but here as it is by far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. "

"I placed an order on 4-20-2006 for a premodded ps2. The money was taken from my credit card within 12 hours. After approximately 2 weeks and no update to my account I started placing tickets asking for some form of update. They would respond with we will check with our installers and let you know. Well, nobody ever let me know. Then, they quit responding to my tickets all together. They would literally delete my tickets without any response. I am a patient person and understand things take time and honestly don't want my item to just be thrown together. However, this company is either scaming people or they need to seriously think about hiring customer service reps.

I have recently cancelled my order with them. I don't expect this to go easily.

I heard about this company on G4 and thought it would be a smooth transaction. I wish I would have come accross this site before hand. From my personal experience I do not recommend buying anything from this company.

I will update this review once I have received my money back or persued legal action.

"BEWARE!!!

Product NOT AS ADVERTISED!

They will not ship you instructions or the CD that they promise.

They will play it off as the manufacturers fault, but funny enough the manufacturer will supply items with no problems.

Highly dissatisfied and would not recommend this store to anyone.

Go somewhere else and "get" what you paid for.

Otherwise you'll end up with hardware you won't know how to configure.

"I sent these fools an Xbox at the beginning of March 2006 It was a customer supplied modchip and an Xbox.Ive been waiting for three weeks for Xbox to return. Still no Xbox. I've made several emails to this company in regard to this issue and they replied to the first one only, saying they will check on it and returnmy email with status of my order. That was over a week ago and I still know nothing about where it is or when it will return. I've emailed them 3 times since then with no reply. I called my local information and asked for telephone number for XBMC Inc. in Vienna VA. where I shipped my box and they tell me no such place exist, and that I sent it to a
"residential adress". I was able to get a phone number for this residential adress and when I call it rings and picks up answering machine with no message then just cuts off.

"STAY AWAY FROM XBOX-MODCHIPS.COM !!!

This is NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS!!

Long story short...they took me for just over $90 including shipping. You may or may not receive your order. If you do, their "customer service" is terrible. I jumped through every hoop they presented for support/service to no avail. After I did everything they asked, they finally sent me an authorization for a return/replacement. They received my chip over a month ago and will not respond to any reqest for status via their "help" system, IRc or email. They are either crooks or have no idea how to run a business. My guess is that they're a couple of kids operating out of their parent's basement. Check out their rating on www.resellerrating.com A better choice for a chip would be: www.modchip-source.com
