"I was really very pleased with zbsports.com. I received a great deal and shipping was fast. They were responsive to all my questions and apparently they donate to charity which is a big plus. I had to return my order but they sent my replacement in about two weeks. Al in all I am very very impressed. "

"Don't bother with these guys. My first two orders through this company were tolerable--good price and decent shipping times. I placed an order with them on October 16 and am still waiting (it is Nov. 23!!). They won't respond to my email and I just want to know where my shoes are and if I should just buy them elsewhere? By the time I get them, they'll be out of style. I should've just ordered them from a reputable company, but I was duped by their committment to charity. ugh. Avoid the headache, and order from somebody else!! Wish me luck on getting my shoes before Christmas!"

" I searched all over the internet looking for a Marmot Precip jacket in a discontinued color but could not find it anywhere. Then I called ZBsports and spoke with Sherri in their customer service department telling her of my difficulties. She was friendly and very responsive, and actually found my jacket. "I have been shopping with zbsports for close to two years now and buy all my brooks shoes from them. They are fast to ship, have great prices, and customer service has been very helpful. Although they only give a store credit for returns, my exchange was quickly replaced. They even give money to charity (which is a big plus for me) – will shop with them again and recommend to others! "Simply the worst Internet commerce experience I've ever had. Totally unresponsive to phone/e-mail. Placed my order 26 days ago and still "processing." Highly unrecommended. Will contact the Better Business Bureau should they still send my package after they've exceeded their shipping promise window; afterwhich, I've demanded a cancellation."

"I ordered a closeout jacket from zbsports despite their low reseller rating lured in by the lowest price I could find. I was told I would have the jacket in 7-14 business days. I thought this was strange as I was assured by the guy on the phone the jacket was in stock and would likely arrive much sooner. I was also told the order status could be checked online and would be provided with tracking info when the jacket was shipped. As of 10/20/06 (11 days after my order was placed), the order page still said "processing" and I gave them a call. Apparently there was an inventory error and the jacket was never in stock. I was told they found out about their inventory problems about a week prior, but never heard anything about my order until I called them. They are generally unresponsive to emails and phonecalls unless you are calling to place an order (even then you may have to leave a message). Once they have your order placed it seems as though their last priority is to get your order shipped. I would strongly discourage anyone from buying from this merchant. The amount of money you MIGHT save should the item arrive is probably not worth the stress and hassle of dealing with them. From now on I will tyake resellerratings more seriously."

"I'm not sure where these bad reviews are coming from, but I ordered a pair of shoes for a marathon and they arrived on my doorstep 2 days later. I called the day after ordering to check the status and I had no problem getting through to customer service, who were very pleasant to deal with. Not to mention the great prices (lowest I could find) and free shipping. I will definitely order from them again."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT! After placing my order online, I never received an order confirmation email or any sort of acknowledgment whatsoever. After 2 weeks, I emailed them and tried calling them--no response. I have no idea whether to purchase the item elsewhere or continue to wait. When I checked the status of my order on their site a couple of days after placing the order, it read "Shipped". But there was no tracking # or shipping info available. The status hasn't changed from day 1. Again, avoid this merchant--there are plenty of reputable merchants out there, there is no need to be a victim of this one."

"I ordered a rain jacket. The wrong size was sent. They asked me to return it before they'd send a new one. Since I sent it back over three weeks ago, I have gotten only one email back (in response to several, plus phone messages) saying it would be processed "in a few days". It has been over two weeks now. What I find frustrating is that they do respond to emails, the phone number only has voicemail, and they do not respond to inquiries, and they do not seem at all feeling responsible for messing up the order--and I still haven't received the item, despite their having charged me at the beginning."

"The good: competitive prices - fast shipping.
The bad: horrible return policy - customer service not all that responsive.
Recommendation: do not buy here UNLESS you are 100% sure that you are going to keep the product. Personally, I will not buy here again as I was not impressed by their desire to keep a customer. I will do my future shopping at backcountry.com or moosejaw.com both of whom have my HIGHEST recommendation.
