"wow i have never had such a bad internet experience, and i have ordered from a variety of different retailers. I ordered a pair of sunglasses last week and after four days i called to see why they hadn't shipped yet. I managed to get someone my third try and he said that they were back ordered and they would be getting a shipment over the weekend. I was slightly mad at this because it did not say anywhere on the site that they were not in stock, but i dealt with it. It is now Wednesday of the next week and they still are yet to ship. Ive tried calling customer service multiple times both yesterday and today, and all i got was a machine. I first ordered them from here because of the "free overnight shipping" because i was hoping to have them soon, but trust me, do not order from here if you hope to have your goods anytime within the next few weeks. "

"Lame: Ordered 12 pair of smartwool socks because the price was abou 20% lower than retail. After 3 weeks still hadn't received them. Emailed them asking to cancel my order, with no reply. Called then after 4 weeks and talked to an employee who then informed me that my order had in fact been canceled. I guess it's not part of this store's policy to follow-up with customers after thay are contacted. Not even a "sorry about that" from the store employee I talked to. Lame. "
"Several months ago I was interested in purchasing an Arcteryx backpack for a trip I had been planning to Europe in August. I had searched several websites before I stumbled upon ZBSPORTS.com I was immediately interested because it was the one site I had found the Bora 65 backpack at a low price and because right on the front pace it said the company itself donates part of the profits to charity.
I called ZBsports to ask a few questions about this one particular backpack because I suffer from a herniated disc in my lower back and I needed to make sure that this one wouldn’t apply pressure and would offer support where I most needed it during long treks. The two salesmen I spoke with were very informative and helpful. I called twice before making my final purchase and each time I was given the information I requested almost immediately.
I got my Bora in about 5 days which was sooner than the time quoted to me over the phone of 7-14 business days. It was exactly what I needed and held more than I had originally anticipated.
I’ve since made several orders with Zbsports and each time I’ve gotten the same great service. When I had to return a pair of Keen sandals for another size, they were very helpful and my return was processed quickly. I’ve had trouble with some internet retailers in the past but I was very impressed with the team at ZB.

"This place is HORRIBLE. I ordered a pair of tennis shoes for my 11 year old son (he needed them prior to the first day of school on 8/8/07); I received a confirmation email on 7/27/07; I was promised overnight shipping; on 8/2/07, I sent an email to check the status; on 8/3 (one week after receiving an email confirming my order) I tried to login to their website to check the status of the order and but was unable. It is now 8/7; I still have not received the shoes, nor a response to my email. The charge for the shoes showed up on my credit card statement on 8/3/07. I called the phone # listed for ZBSports and received a recording advising that someone was on vacation and would return 8/3/07 and, further, that the mailbox was full. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE CONSIDERING BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY TO SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER. "

They ended up not having it in stock either, but offered to get it for me from the manufacturer at a decent price. They told me to expect a longer shipping time, but it didn’t seem too long to me. Great company to buy from."
"A few months ago I ordered an Arcteryx jacket from this vendor. I was impressed with their knowledgeable, personable staff (it’s so rare to find it when buying something over the internet). They gave me terrific advice over the phone and I’m very happy with the jacket I eventually purchased. They offered the item at a great price and it was shipped to me only a few days after my order. All in all, despite slow processing compared with what I'm used to, ZB delivered what I ordered almost within the time frame that their policy states (arrived just a few days late). Because of the slowness, and the difficult return policy, I probably won't order from them a lot, but I wouldn't say that I won't ever order from them again."
"Run don't walk AWAY from this online retailer! I was attracted by lowest advertized cost for a technical shell that was a hard to find item.Unfortunitly, the low price was too good to be true since they went from having every size and every color to sold out the day after my order was placed. the It took one week, two calls, ( you can only leave voicemail ), and two emails before they informed me that they were "out of stock". Combine these frustrating customer service issues with a store credit only policy on returns, and you are asking for trouble. My recommendation is to go to one of the many other reliable dealers that offer a full refund policy and you will be better off ! "
"I have made two purchases from Zbsports. The first was a tolerable experience, as they could not find the color I wanted so they called and gave me $10 off a future order. It arrived after about 20 business days (over the 14 but not a big deal). Then, I decided to buy a rock climbing training board for my husband for his b-day. I ordered on the 17th of January...just hoping it would get there by his birthday which was the 28th of Jan. When it didn't, I got him a different present and figured it would make a good Valentine's day present. It is now the 20th of February I have made 3 separate phone calls (which none have been returned). My suggestion...only order from this company if you don't care when you get the item. The problem is that they don't seem to have many items in inventory and end up ordering things from the company. Probably more headache than the price is worth!! As an update, they did call and offer me $20 toward a future purchase. "
