"I placed an order for a Digital Camera Sony F717.
The next day, Walter left me a message asking to confirm the order. After going through really rude people and 5 calls, I finally reached Walter. He needed the last 3 digits of my credit card because it wasn't showing on his screen (that's when I started to get suspicious). He started pushing me extra memory by saying that the one that came with the camera could only hold 4 pictures. I said I already had an extra memory stick at home. Then he started pushing me the extra battery and the charger, which would cost almost 300. I said no, and he started to get rude and said that without the charger and the battery, my order would take 6 to 8 weeks.
I cancelled the order. Stay away from this company."
"I've started to believe that this company is nothing but a big scam. if you don't buy any unnessary EXTRAS, you can forget your order.
Still waiting to get a direct answer for where abouts of the camcorder we ordered 8 days ago.
I get the feeling that since I didn't buy the extra battery that was pushed on me at the time of the sale, they kind of want me to cancel and I think I will. There should be a law for companies like this one, how can they do buissines in this manner and get away with it?"
"Don't try to make an online purchase from them. Online ordering is really just a ruse to get you on the phone with one of their salesmen. It took 5 phone calls, 8 to 10 transfers and 20 minutes on hold to get through to "verify" my order. After I told the salesman for the the third time that all I wanted to buy was the camcorder I said that I would cancel the order if they could not simply sell me what I ordered. He responded by asked me if that was meant as a threat so I hung up and cancelled the order. Buyer beware. Don't waste your time with this company."
"I have no positive thing to say about this company. Sales to customer service people are rude. Try asking them questions, they talk to you as though they are doing you a favour. They dont realise that we are paying them.
I would not recommend anyone to go and buy a anything from this company. I know how much trouble i had with them. Sales person promised the contents and 3 day shipping and shipping cost is so high. There systems is so bad it takes 3 days to get the tracking number onthe website and when u call them , thay are saying when i did i promise these things. I had to call so may times to get my paid product.
They have all the qualities of a company where customers should not go.
This is my personal experience and opinion.

"I bought a Sony battery for a Camcorder. Web Site was easy to use, battery arrived on time. Shipping seemed high...."
"While I never did purchase from this company, lots of flags went up immediately when I entered their website, contacted the sales department, etc.
The first immediate concern that screamed caution was that there was no address given on their website for their business location. Dead giveaway! Stay away from websites that do not provide full disclosure. This was validated when I contacted their sales department to ask for their address/location. after a few minutes wait, a sales person came on (sounded foreign) and I told him I was on their website but couldn't find their address. Dead silence for a few seconds, then he repeated my question and then said,"hold on," and I was switched over to customer service, which I didn't wait to answer. The short and long of my comments is this: the prices looked too good to true (I was considering buying a Canon EOS-1Ds from them [they were about $600.00 cheaper than anyone else] but could not get specifics about the camera) and having some lengthy experiece buying professioally on the web, this operation appears to be selling grey market items which if purchased, it's risky at best. Don't waste your time on these guys. Too many unaswered questions make you feel uneasy right from the beginning!"
"Ordered a Fuji S2 at an "unbelievable" price, all grey and then the salesman was pushy in selling extra warantees, accessories. After I hung up I had called back to cancel the order. I was assured that the order was cancelled by the salesman. The following day someone called and left a message to verify my CC. When I called back to complain and to ensure that the order was cancelled the original salesman had said I never cancelled the order and became quite rude. I would not reccommend this co. for anyone, forget about customer service should be their moto."
"It's my worst experince when I purchased stuff through internet. They are very rude and no patients to hear anything from you.
I want to buy a digital camera from this web. After one day, somebody send me email and let me to confirm sth. I was really confused. So I tried to make a call from 10:00am to 2:00pm, there only have voice message! I can not talk to anybody!!! Finally, when the phone has been picked up, a guy just told me my order only included digital camera itself---no cable, no battery and no waranty only camera. He even never answered my question why and then told me your order has been cancelled!!!! Can you imagine this?? That's really bad company! Don't buy anything from them! And I will send my comments to their custemer service too."
"I started to purchase the camera from the web and decided to call them to clarify some ambiguities in the product information.
They did not answer my questions directly. For example, when I asked if it was a full retail kit, they answered, "yes, it is new from the factory". When I repeated the question, they still did not answer it directly and became quite rude. When I rephrased the question and asked if it included the battery and charger, they became even more rude and literally began insulting me. When they finally admitted that the package did not include the battery and charger, I cancelled my order.
If their company had a storefront in my city, I would picket it."
"My first experience with this type of dealer. Not fun. Went for the package, was assured of return rights, asked numerous times about any cost to me besides shipping, was told that was only cost. Found out what junk all the accessories were, called for RA#. Was told about "restocking fee" for 1st time. Blew my stack. They stood firm. Returned package. Waiting for credit, less "fee". Hope I get something!"
"I placed an order for the Minolta Dimage 7i. They listed it for $579. Most other places sell it for around $1000 so I thought this was a great day. WRONG, on 07-22-02 I received an e-mail asking me to call to confirm my order. I called around 8:30 on 07-23-02 and their message said there hours are Mon - Thur 9-9. So I called back at 9, still the same message, then again at 9:10 ad 9:15, finally at 9:20 I got the message asking me to enter my party's extension. Guess what, Jake wasn't in yet. So I called back at 9:30 and finally got ahold of him. Right off the bat he tries to sell me their battery pack for $80 because the ones that come with it only last 20 minutes. I told him I already had an external one that lasts for 4 hours (and it was only $58 plus I bought some batteries of the recommended power level for $14 for 4). Now he tries to sell me some compact Flash, I told him I already have a 1gb IBM microdrive. Next, Filters, you need filters normally $249 but I'll let you have them for $149, then oh you need a case, $49 but I'll give it to you for $39. Now the big bomb, oh I noticed you didn't order the 5 year warrenty, where you aware that what we sell is an internation product and comes with no warrenty? You need to buy the warrenty It's normally $300 but I'll give it to you for $199. Stay away from these people, they are selling grey market items (items imported from other countries that carry no warrenty). Beware of this place. Do yourself a favor and just burn your money.
I wanted to add that I went ahead with the order and checked my credit card statement and noticed that they charged me $60 more than the price they quoted me. I called them about the extra charges and I was put on hold for about 5 minutes then the guy came back and told me that he listened to the recording of my order and said that was the amount that was quoted to me (amazing system, can find any call in 5 minutes and that includes listening to a 15 minute conversation). I told them I wanted to cancel the order, well it had already shipped. I told him that I was going to refuse the shipment and I wanted a full refund. I was told that I would be charged a restocking fee of 20% plus shipping. Very unacceptable, this would have cost me several hundred dollars for nothing! I filed complains with the local attorny generals office in my state and the one in New York as well as the Federal Trade Commision (I advise you to do this if you have been ripped off by these people). My credit card was never credited back until my local Attorny General's office contacted them. After this I received a FULL Refund. Don't let these guys push you around. I also advise you to contact your credit card company and get a new number. After my experience with A&M I started to notice charges on my credit card that were not put on there by me. Now I am not saying that they had anything to do with it but it is very suspicious. If you have ordered from them and got ripped off, then contact the Attorny General's office and the Federal Trade Commision ASAP, otherwise avoid these people like the plaque!"
"I would not advise anyone to use this company. I purchased the camera thinking that I had found a true deal, but in all reality all I'd found is a scam. I received an e-mail telling me that I must first confirm my order. Believing that this was for security I did this. I was put on hold at least eight different times, and was being asked repetitively if I wanted to purchase accessories. I bluntly stated no, just to be transfered to another associate. After repeating myself at least three times I was told the product would arrive in a few weeks. A few weeks went by, and the product never showed up, so I called to check the status... FUNNY THING.... the order had been cancelled... no accessories... no order.. AND this is a foreign dealer, so the battery and other USA included accessories were NOT included...... I WOULDN'T ADVISE OSAMA BIN LADEN HIMSELF TO BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!"
"They suck alright! Bait and switch all the way..
they were offering a canon gl1 for $1229.. retail price is $2499. I order it and get the email to call for confirmation. After being on hold for 30 minutes and getting disconnected I call back and get through.
They tell me the camera has a really small battery and if I buy the extended battery with it I can get it for $149 (typically $199 they say but $50 for bundling). I say no thanks and they say, what about a warranty.. this is the international model and doesn't come with a waranty. You can buy one for $399. No thanks! Are you sure you don't want a battery, this model doesn't come with one! Uh, it comes with a small one right? Nope, I messed up before, that's a different model. This one comes with NO battery. Oh well, that's okay, just send it to me and I'll make due. Okay fine. How long will it be, is it in stock? Yeah, just a day or two. Okay, bye.
And that was the last I ever heard from them! So please save yourself some time and don't get suckered by their too good to be true prices! they are!"
"Scam artists! Also see Broadway Photo and Digital Liquidators. They sell greay market crap and/or refuse to sell you the gear if you don't buy their overpriced accessories. Oh yeah, and they charge $45.- to ship a 5 lbs package via UPS ground..."
"An internet search revealed they had the best price on a digital camera I was interested in purchasing for a gift. When I called, I was told that the camera was in stock. However, when I refused to purchase any of the over-priced accessories they tried to sell, suddenly the camera was no longer in stock. After waiting for two months, I gave up and went elsewhere.
It's pretty clear to me that you won't be buying anything from them unless you pad the sale with overpriced accessories. Interestingly, that seems to make their price no better than anyone else's."
