"While low prices initially brought me to best price photo, the service has consistently impressed me. I have ordered from them multiple times, and each time, I had my stuff as promised. On my latest order, there was an issue with my credit card. I actually got a phone call, not some automated email message, to tell me the issue so I could get it taken care of."
"I was looking to purchase a Canon 60D body and this site had the lowest price on the web so I decided to order it. A day later someone from Best Price Photo called me and told me if I did not upgrade the camera for $99 dollars I would receive the Japanese version with no USA warranty. Although I wish it would have said this on the website the cost of the camera was still going to be $40 cheaper than any of the other sites so I decided to go ahead and upgrade. I was on the fence about ordering online from a company I knew nothing about, but I am glad I did. I saved money and my camera arrived quickly and without any problems."
"
I bought a camera from these guys ,after talking to them over the phone took their warranty offer ,it seemed like a good one and they promise an upgrade from 3 to 5 years
got the camera on time as promised (I had to have it for a family trip and I did receive it in 4 days with no extra charge)
box wasn't sealed eventhough it looked new,and I had a note saying the warranty should arrive in 4-5 weeks
contacted them 2 months later and they said they will priority mail .tried calling 10 days after in order to hear that according to their records "I should be getting this today or tomorrow",6 more days have passed ,calls again, quick answer and then I was waiting for 15 minutes, spoke with their guy and he said he will be calling the warranty company, the guy said they are sending conformation by e mail in 1 hour
I received the warranty card within a week and apology from customer service the day after
I do have to say that after asking them for a copy of my invoice i recieved it in a matter of minutes.

"Excellent customer service! My boyfriend got me a camera for my birthday through Best Price Photo. Sales associate Mickey took the time to contact me, discuss the camera with me, and suggest some changes to the package I had ordered to make it more tailored for my purposes. I recieved the order promptly and called Mickey with a question regarding the items which he was quick to respond to in a friendly and courteous manner. I found the exact camera I wanted at a much better price than I was able to secure through any other electronics store or big box warehouse. I will definitely return to BestPricePhoto for future needs and will ask specifically for Mickey."
"Never again will I deal with this horrific "company". I placed an order at the end of May 2012 and never received it. After several weeks I called them and they ASSURED me that my camera would arrive that Friday, never did. On Monday 6/18/12, I called to cancel order and was told I would receive a cancellation email notice, never did, and my money has yet to be returned ($829). I am contacting Better Business. Be very wary of these guys, don't trust them. I have since ordered the camera from another place and received it in two days.
UPDATE on JUNE 26th, 2012:
I contacted the Better Business Bureau on this farce of a business, I have yet to receive my $829 refund and most likely will have to get legal assistance.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!"
"BestPricePhoto has good prices and helpful staff."
"Not very happy because customer service was bad, the item did not ship after 1 week, and it's arrived in about 3 weeks much longer than 7-10 days. There was no email update saying one of the items is back order.
The manager compensates me by sending out a free gift and apology for the bad service. I give them an opportunity to improve their mistake. I am now happy and would order from them again. At least someone cares and read our survey."
"Good web site and very helpful post purchase sales, like Michael who was very helpful."
"Take care when ordering from these guys. I bought an ef 24-105mm L series lens from them. I asked them over the phone to confirm it is a canon retail lens and not a white box (bundled with a camera). When it arrived, it was a white box lens which essentially comes with no warranty.
In addition to this, they upsold me on a 3 filter pack for $200-. I confirmed with them this was a high quality brand and they assured me it was. Hesitently I agreed. When it arrived, I found it was a noname brand. The same pack sells on other sites for $10-. I will be much more cautious before using them again. "
"Excellent seller. I purchased a lens and decided to get a better one. Ryan of BPP gladly accommodate, lowered the price to match a competitor. Very responsive. I'm very satisfied"
"Great price and service shipped the next day."
"My order was suppose to be shipped Express Shipping via Federal Express, it arrived 7-9 day Reg. Ground. I was told the SD card had a lifetime warranty like the ones I use, it came...was a 5 yr. warranty, not lifetime! I then realized that there was no 5 yr. warranty program (cost $249.99 I believe that's correct!) in the box either, and when I questioned that, was told it would be shipped in 6 wks. Then, the invoice did not have the products listed that I received, so if I did need a warranty from the manufacturer, I did not have a Proof of Purchase! (BEWARE!) Well, wasn't sure if the 5 yr. warranty would be what I was told either, so requested a RA for return. Not going to keep the other items 6 wks. and then have another BIG surprise! I had already gotten a bad feeling, as I had requested a RA and was given a message totally ignoring the fact that I requested a RA#. I requested the return authorization again and was told I had to call a certain number and extension. I did, and held for over 25 mins. and NO ONE ANSWERED! The extension was for the refund dept. I called on 2 phones and neither were answered. No one would give me a RA#, so I wrote an email and told them that if I did not have a RA# by Monday morning, I would return and they could decide if they would accept it or not, I had already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Well, no answer to my email by Monday, I was busy and didn't make it to Fed. Exp.anyway...but guess what, I got one by email on Tuesday. Not for sure, but figured they thought I shipped Monday...wouldn't have a RA# (their website says they will not accept anything without an RA#)...and could try to make me pay for it, because I returned without an RA#. I didn't get it shipped until Wed...and with their RA#! The total sale was 1289.00 and because I was feeling like it was a bait and switch, no one would answer my emails or calls, I decided to return all of it! Now, bear in mind, I just received this, it is brand new, none of it even taken out of their box, so we will see if there is a restocking fee because it is "used and damaged" like they say in so many of their responses to other writing here. THERE BETTER NOT BE...as I DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I ORDERED!...nor was it shipped Express. I was looking for the camera for a shoot I had. Needless to say, it didn't make it...another bait and switch. It cost me $24.00 to ship it back insured too...and the company SHOULD REFUND THAT TO ME ALSO!...I will post an update and let everyone know if they try to "restock fee" this item. They didn't ship what I was told I ordered, so they need to refund my purchase in FULL and REFUND MY RETURN SHIPPING!...I would be satisfied with that...nothing less. And BTW, if you do not receive what you ordered, you should contact your credit card company...No company can charge you a restocking fee when they did not ship the items you ordered and/or were told you were being shipped (unless of course, they are not returned in their brand new condition etc.) Nothing was opened in my situation, so we will see, and they should be honest and professional enough to refund the return shipping too! Item was received 06/07/2012.
UPDATE! 06/14/2012 CONSUMERS BEWARE!
I get a call from Raymond this morning. He calls me and has no information on the correspondence I've had with the company. His biggest concern is if I mailed the pkg. back on Monday without a RA# and to what address. Hmmm, so my gut feeling earlier was...if I was being set up since I didn't receive any RA# on Monday as requested...forwarding the RA# to me as I had requested (several times now) and I had mentioned I was shipping it back Monday, with or without the #! Guess I know now. So he proceeds to tell me that I must have called "after hours" because they are eastern time. Told him no, I am aware of time zones. He then tells me I will be chged. the 10% restocking fee. I explain to him that they shipped me the wrong products, and he tells me I checked the box agreeing to the terms of the sale. When I ordered on line, all I ordered was the camera. Nothing else! I get a call saying all of my credit card # didn't come through and that's when they got me for the additional items...and when I was told the SD card had a lifetime warranty. So, was my credit card missing, or was this an excuse to add to the sale and promise things that obvioudly do not exist! Raymond accuses me of ordering the SD card and other items on line at the time I ordered the camera! I tell him NO...not true, I ordered nothing but the camera. He goes on and says, since I ordered the SD on line, didn't I notice the warranty was not LT (lifetime). I said I did not order on line, so you see where this is going. This is Customer Service? The manager arguing and telling the customer how they ordered, which he doesn't even know the company did send me a RA# by email or any info on my order when he called? Long and short of it, he tells all he has to do is show my credit card company where I checked the box that I agreed and he will be paid. NOW, is this professional, good service and a way to keep customers? BTW, I mentioned to him that his website states 30 Money Back Guarantee...and he starts to let me know why I am not included in that guarantee...because I checked the box agreeing that there was a 10% restocking fee!
CONSUMER ALERT! If you charge an order with this company on your credit card, you have consumer rights and don't let anyone try to bull doze you over. If they are in the wrong, and they are in my case...#1, offering a 30 day money back guarantee then bait and switching, promising warranties that do not exist, trying to avoid forwarding a RA# for return, being argumentive with your customer...IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS, IS NOT PROFESSIONAL, AND COULD POSSIBLE BE FRAUDULENT/FALSE ADVERTISING TOO!
Sorry this is so long, but I don't appreciate being treated this way. When my camera did not show up in 2 days like I was told, I wrote 2 emails asking when I would receive it. Never heard a word.
Will update and let you know what else this company is trying to pull, as it happens. In the meantime, I am going to be pro-active and start writing some complaints to all of their distributors. Perhaps Canon would like to know what their dealing and shenanigans are...amongst others their other manufacturers, the Attorney Generals office or other Consumer Affair Agencies.
Update to Response 06/15/2012:
Simply NOT TRUE. I did not call, they called me saying my credit card number did not go through and they needed to verify it, then told me on their call when they sold me the SD card that it had a lifetime warranty. Want to get techincal, I have a phone bill that shows incoming and outgoing calls & DATES!...There are calls on it to your company...MADE AFTER THE RECEIPT OF THE PACKAGE...when I called and held forever, wanting a RMA# and no one answered...need I say more?
Raymond, nothing was used, it is all returned, never having been taken out of the box...the exact same way it was shipped...and would have been returned sooner, had you given me the RMA# I requested several times! That is something you can count on! :0)
06/20/2012 Update...Raymond has received the package but hasn't made any attempt to refund my $1289.99, per his 100% Money Back Guarantee and his response to my complaint...No surprise.
06/30/2012 My CREDIT CARD COMPANY refunded my $$$$.$$...if there is a Bait and Switch, like the guy who bought a camera and got a call back that unless you opt another $99.00 you will receive a non USA camera with no warranty (?)...Sir! You may have saved $40.00, but is that who you really want to do business with, especially when the website declares all USA PRODUCTS? And then give the company a 5 Star Rating! Really? Good Luck!...anyone else, take the matter up with your credit card company. They will refund the total amount, no 10% restocking fee for merhandise returned because of fraud advertising!

"great service, I called to ask about the warranty I didn't receive, and they shipped me a new one the same day, no problem, love it! "
"I did post earlier on the strain I had with my order shipment from BestPricePhoto. I should confess they have more than compensated for the initial glitch in shipment.
They have shown some serious commitment in ensuring a speedy shipment - they actually Overnight'ed from a different source. That is awesome!!! not to mention the complimentary batteries they added to compensate for any delay (which after the overnight is negligible)!! APPRECIATE THE CUSTOMER ORIENTATION ON THIS!! JUST WHAT I LOOK FOR IN ANYONE I TRANSACT WITH!!! "
"ordered a camera and rec'ed it in record time and was just what was ordered and works better than I thought it would ...I would order from them again if needed"
