"By far the worst customer service I have ever received. Attempted to purchase a camera and after being told it was in stock, it turns out it wasn't. I then called back every day for about two weeks when I ordered a different camera. Each day I was told the camera would ship the following day but when I called each day thereafter it never shipped. Ultimately ended up cancelling my entire order. I never received a response to the emails that I sent inquiring about my orders. Everytime I called Customer Service I heard a different excuse and was certainly not treated as a valued customer. When I went to my Sales Rep because I wasn't getting answers from Customer Service, I was told to contact Customer Service. I've never experienced something such as this before. These guys might have the best prices but I will never deal with them again."
" BestPricePhoto had the lowest price and best selection for the camera I wanted. I am very skeptical if a company is offering a price that "is too good to be true". I checked out this company before I placed my order and from the other reviews it seemed legit so I placed my order. It took a little longer than some companies to receive my order but this was because I was not at home when they called to verify my order. (They said that they do this with any large credit card purchase because of fraud.) This was not a problem and I actually appreciate this. I called them back and my order was shipped the next day. I received it three days later (opted for the free shipping). No Problems!! I talked to Mike he asked if I might be interested in some other accessories that they had on sell but I told him that I had some other plans he was not "pushy" and thanked me for my order. "We decided to order a Canon Lens from BestPricePhoto after we had ordered from another company (and later cancelled the order because it took them too long to ship it even though it was in stock.) We called BestPricePhoto after we placed the order online to make sure it was in stock, and the gentleman told us it would be shipping. We received the email with the Fedex tracking info and were impressed that the lens was sent with the stipulation that we sign for it. We appreciate this added measure of safety. Today we placed an order for a Canon camera body with BestPricePhoto. The price was the best on the net and we are confident we will receive good and timely service."
"STUPID!!!!! The site says it will take 24 to 48 hours to ship and be processed took 7 days for my order to be shipped and there was nothing about it being back ordered, this is ridiculous. And now I will have to wait another 7 to 9 days? I've already missed one vacation with this and probably going to be another. Thanks Alot"
"7/5/12 order placed (Canon T3i kit). 7/6 I received an email asking me to contact Mickey at extension 502. I tried 3 times and was put on hold for 20 minutes. I emailed them confirming my order by email as over the phone that was not possible, and asking if my order was going to be send soon as I needed the camera by certain date. 7/9 I got an email back saying that my order was good to go. 7/11 my credit card was charged. 7/13 I called to inquire for the status of my order as I had not received tracking information. They said order shipped yesterday, tracking information will be emailed by 5:00pm. It didn’t happen. I emailed BPP canceling my order due to the delay, the lies, and some bad reviews that I found while getting nervous. 7/16 I got an email with FedEx tracking information. I called and ask what was that email about it if I requested the order to be cancelled. They told me to wait some minutes while they contacted FedEx to return the package to them. After less than just 2 minutes on hold they said that my order was cancelled. ????? I received an email immediately confirming cancellation and promising refund in 3-5 business days. I got the refund in 6 business days.
FOLLOW UP 8/3/12: BPP's response is another LIE. On 7/16 I received a Fedex shipping number AFTER I requested cancellation on 7/13. On 7/16 I contacted BPP to cancel AGAIN because they didn't pay attention to my prior cancellation. They didn't ever bother to explain why they didn't ship my kit. They DID charged my credit card on 7/11 without providing shipping tracking info. They didn't respond to emails inquiring for my order."
