"12-30-2011 I am updating my comment with a more favorable review. The day after I posted this review the company rep called to work out the order. He said my merchandise was out of stock and the failure to respond was a staffing problem. He immediately resolved the issue by issuing a refund. Then he added some merchandise as compensation- a nice gesture that I appreciate.
I think a company should manage their customer service better, especially at the rush times of the year. But I now have resolved all issues and will give a better rating. Thank you BestPricePhoto and Reseller Ratings.
From 12-28-2011 This company didn't ship all my order. I have called multiple times and they never answered after long periods of being on hold. 3 emails went unanswered. The order says it has shipped but has no further information. Very dissatisfied with this company and am disputing the charge with my credit card company."

This place is NOT LEGIT! Take a look at the positive reviews and PAY ATTENTION..they are clearly largely fake and generated by the same person/people to cover up the true reviews, which are clearly very consistently negative.
What happened to me? I just had my first baby and needed a camera ASAP to capture what was unfolding in front of me. bpp let me down.
1. I ordered the Canon T3i online on 12/25/2011, as a quick search SUPPOSEDLY showed bpp as having the lowest price. They beat the popular online megastore by a mere $20-$30 after all was said and done.
2. The day after I ordered (12/26/11), I received a call and email asking me to call them because of the "large amount of the purchase". (WHY should I have to call THEM?!) The rep said nothing other than asking me if I wanted any memory cards or extended warranties. I said, no. (Note their prices for these items is staggeringly high!...Big surprise!) The rep also was very strongly suggestive of me coming to pick the item up, since I live close to them (coincidentally). I said, no, please send it to me, and they said, OK all was well. (They still intended to charge me $27 to ship it 2-3 miles in 3 days...even after the phone call.)
3. The next day (12/27/11) I get an email from bpp telling me that my card has been declined by the card company (AMEX). I call AMEX. AMEX says the EMAIL IS FALSE. AMEX says that the merchant put the charge through but then canceled it on their (merchant) end, and that there was NO problem on the AMEX end. AMEX said it was clear to them that the merchant had intentionally done this.
Things smell fishy!!!...
4. I try to call the merchant to find out what is going on since I just needed the camera ASAP. Suddenly I can't get through to anyone, and get put on hold and sent to voicemails.
5. I order from somewhere else and cancel my order with bpp via email. They are happy to write me back quite quickly letting me know they are happy to cancel the order. HA! BAD MERCHANT ALERT!
UPSHOT: This place is BS. Take your business elsewhere.....trust me please!!! They get your attention with a false, low price and then are not going to send the item to you unless you prove to be profitable to them, say because of your buying other things - warranties, accessories, etc. - from them or what have you.
!!!BUYER BEWARE!!! Pay the relatively small amount of extra $$ to buy items from a reputable merchant. www.bestpricephoto.com is a sham! www.bestpricephoto.com is a bad merchant.
ADDENDUM (12/29/11): Dear bpp, If you actually read and comprehend my review you will see that there was NOT an issue with my credit card. The credit card company (AMEX) said that not only could you have processed payment, but that you in fact DID initiate payment and then cancel it. (I now know that was to give you a convenient excuse to further your questionable business practices.) So, again, the issue was ALL YOURS and NOT MINE. Don't try to pass off your shady, unprofessional business practices as an issue of mine. Read the reviews carefully and you'll see that Bestpricephoto.com is unprofessional and not worthy of anyones money or time. Stay away!"
"I ordered a Canon Vixia HFM400. It came with everything promised and the quality was quite good. For some reason the output is supposed to be 1980x1080 (and it is when put into Vegas) but the description says that its frame size is 1440x1080. But I guess since it is actually 1920 width it doesn't matter.

"Do not buy anything from these people! I ordered a camera for my son for Christmas...they did some baloney "call us so we can confirm your order" which just proved to be an up-sell excuse. They billed my credit card, and I called to confirm that it had shipped (so it would arrive in time). They said it had shipped. Then two days AFTER Christmas, I get an email saying my money was being refunded to my credit card. So it never shipped...LIARS. Called again, and was on hold 30 minutes before someone confirmed that they were cancelling the order. They messed up my son's present. Buy from someone that has their act together...do not buy from Best Price Photo."

" order was received by the company, they contacted me a week later to verify shipping address and to ask if I wanted to purchase any accessories for the camera. I declined. I was then called one day later and told that the camera was "oversold and out of stock" and that the purchase would be charged to my credit card once more stock of the camera had been received. When I call their sales dept to ask if they have stock on the camera, I am told that they do, when I speak to their shipping dept they tell me that they don't have stock. It has now been over a month since I tried to make a purchase with this company and I don't believe that they have any intention of honoring their "sale" price that they had this camera at. Very disappointed.
Adendum; since leaving this review, Best Price Photo.com has cancelled my order."
