The rep told me the leak in my tub faucet was covered under my plumbing policy - the tech arrived and said it was going to cost over $200 even though it has been repaired twice for $50 charge to me. He then determined that there was a leak in the water main on the property and gave me an estimate for that. He left without repairing the faucet in the bathroom. I have had several policies and used BGE home for many years. I purchased my HVAC system from BGE. I got 2 other estimates for the replacement of the water main to the street which were over $1100 less that the quote the technician gave me. I am stressed over using a service that I am unfamiliar with but I do not like the new BGE home. Will be looking into cancelling my service policy and finding other coverage."
