"(1) Acknowledge what the customer is telling you that was written in black and white in a letter from Constellation. When the letter says your contract will end on 2/28/20 and the customer calls on 2/28/20, that contract is still effective even though the computer says a new contract started on 2/28/20. The day had not ended, thus the existing contract was still in effect. (2) It was disturbing that the original contact could not find my account in the computer, made several excuses about it, and then made me feel like I had reached an alternate gas supplier who was trying to slam my account by asking for my BGE account number, which as been on my local news lately."
"My Constellation account online did not have any information regarding my account. No information was received about a renewal contract and I could not access a date of contract. The email I received after switching to a better rate after being with Constellation for so many years stated I must pay a $25 termination fee. However, the customer service agent was very patient and helpful."
