"I ordered the motion sensor soap/lotion dispenser in the shape of a dolphin. I put a new pack of batteries in it. It moaned. It groaned. It spit some soap out, then it died. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing worked. It only seems to work when I take the battery compartment cover off and put it back on. It doesn't sense any motion however; it spits out soap (and moaning and groaning) as soon as the cover is replaced, but not again until I repeat the process. I have emailed the company two times and have heard nothing back. No auto response saying "we will respond within BLAH BLAH time" NOTHING. I have another item on order, and I sure hope that one comes intact and working.

UPDATE: 10 minutes after posting this review, I received an email from customer service. They are offering to refund my money and not worry about shipping the product back. Upon receipt of my funds, I will update the review again.

UPDATE: Within 2 hours of the original review, Customer service contacted me and rectified the problem. All funds were returned very promptly! I feel better about future purchases!

"If I could give a negative rating to this reseller, I would. I placed an order on 11 Jul and the status for the order was reflected as "exporting" (whatever that means). About 1.5 weeks ago, the status was changed to "processing" (huh? exporting then processing?). I emailed their customer support on 3 Aug and this was the response that I received:

I sincerely apologize for the delay, we are getting the package shipped as soon as possible.

Over the past week we have moved from our old warehouse and office facility in New York City to a more modern, efficient, and larger warehouse and office complex in New Jersey.
Due to this move, our shipping was delayed a few days. Please note, that we are now fully running at capacity and shipping everything out.

Once your box leaves the warehouse, our new system will automatically email you with the tracking number.

"Delayed for a few days" when my order was made 3 weeks ago??? Nevertheless, I waited for another week, but till date, nothing has been received from the company and no email update on the status was provided. Last check on the website still shows the order as "processing". I just emailed their customer "service" again and let's see what kind of response I will receive this time round.

Update (24 Aug 10):
Made a Paypal resolution dispute on 12 Aug 10 but no response till date. PP is giving them till 29 Aug 10 to respond.

"I have to give DailyCheckOut credit for responding to my concerns. When I emailed them that the compass I bought from them didn't work they offered to reship another one or refund my purchase. Unfortunately when the new compass arrived it also didn't work; so maybe they can improve on their quality control but their email replies are timely and their service is rock solid.

PS: As a followup, I was promised a working compass but they never came through, so I'm disappointed in DailyCheckOut's merchandise. At least they reply but they don't keep their promise in making good so though disappointed on this item I still may order if their merchandise looks like good quality.

"NEGATIVE FEEDBACK - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOUR ITEM IS THE LEAST BIT FRAGILE OR COULD POSSIBLY BE BROKEN IN TRANSIT - THEIR PKG AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE HORRIBLE!

Over 2 mos ago I ordered a touch screen MP3 player from daily checkout - it arrived timely but was broken - I contacted the seller for return instructions and paid shipping to return the unit. I asked that they use the pkg I provided to ship the new item back to me. Their pkg was horrible and probably the reason the product came w/a cracked screen. They reshipped another MP3 player to me - not in the pkg I sent - and again the until was broken and unusable. I contacted them again - willing to pay shipping back to them AGAIN - they said not to worry about sending it back, they would test a unit to make sure it worked and try to pkg it so it woudn't get broken in transit. They NEVER shipped the 3rd unit out to me - I have sent 11 emails and left 4 voice mails on their 'customer service' line and I have been ignored. I have not recieved a credit or the working MP3 player - which is what I would've preferred. Their lack of communication has lead me to this negative feedback as well as disputing my cc charges to get my money back. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL LET ALL OF MY FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY EVER - BUYER BEWARE!

In response to their response: They never said anything about a credit - they said they would send a 3rd unit and never did - if they gave me a credit i have yet to see it - I had to contact my credit card company to get my money back through a dispute!

"I purchased a Netbook from Daily Checkout. I repeatedly contacted them about the item due to not being able to receive emails on it, which is why I purchased it. I never got an answer back from them, and I called on the number provided and emailed them and followed their instructions on trying to return it. I would not recommend this site for anyone."

"Ordered 2 speakers, one arrived D.O.A. I was promised a replacement at no charge and a tracking number. Well, it's been almost 2 weeks now, and no tracking number, no replacement, and no response to my emails.

"Ordered two items on June 22, 2010. Still have not received my items, or any shipping information. I have emailed them several times trying to get information, and my requests for ANY information have fallen on deaf ears.

I did receive an email today asking me to complete this survey for my "recent" purchase. Seeing as I still have not received my purchase or any information regarding it, I replied to the email and yet again asked for information about my purchase.

Not surprisingly, I received a quick email back asking me NOT to do the reseller rating, and that the email was sent in error.

Once someone decides to actually return an email and let me know where my items are, I will update this rating. Until then, I suggest people stay away unless you enjoy throwing money away and being ignored.

**Update 7/13** Still nothing. Finally received an email response stating there was a problem with my CC- however I paid with paypal, so nice try. They promised to expedite my shipping, get my order out to me and get me a tracking number. Not surprisingly, none of this has happened. It appears I will have to initiate a refund with Paypal. At this point, I can no longer recommend this company to anyone.

***UPDATE*** Rebuttal 7/13

The statements by dailycheckout below are inaccurate and misleading. I have the (scant) dated email communications. Again, what credit card?! I paid via PayPal funds! Also, it took five emails and well over a week for anyone to contact me. So prompt and communication from "the beginning" is quite misleading. The most recent email from them dated 7/7 promised an "expedited" shipping of my items and "that a tracking number would be emailed to me the next day". Six days later (7/13) I still did not have a tracking number, an email from them or an update. It was only until I emailed, reminding them that they promised to "fix" this 6 days ago, did I get a response.

How about this- Instead of trying to justify, and defend, just practice proper customer service and admit that an order placed on June 22 should not have had this many issues, and should have been resolved in a more timely manner? A simple sorry would have sufficed.
