"I sent them a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. It was in great condition. I only had it 2 months. We changed companies and got the S8 so I no longer needed that phone. I sent them the phone with the offer price of $240. As soon as they received it they sent a new offer of $22. They stated it had faulty software so I declined the offer and they shipped my phone back to me. I have since gone to Gazelle and still received a lot higher quote than they offered and my phone never had any software issue. It is a scam that they want t to pull on customers to try to get your phone for as cheap as possible and turn around and sell it for a high profit. This company is a ripoff and I would never recommend them to anyone. Steer clear of this shady company."
"I was looking to sell a phone that was like brand new and found this site. They had the highest quote out of all of the buyers . They also accept promo codes and I got an extra 10% just for a code . It was very fast and I got my $ in 2days after they received it. Would definitely recommend !!!!"
"It's very quick and easy don't have to do a lot really and the best part is it's free"
"Easy to use and a great experience!"
"They reduced their offer from $20 to $2 for an item in pristine condition when it left my house. They claimed they had sent me the revised offer, which I would have declined, had I seen it. I checked my junk mail folder. No revised offer was ever sent. I would rather have given the item to charity than taken their $2! I have watched their inventory and on the day after my disbursement, they suddenly had new inventory of the exact item in "very good condition." It is very shady to reduce an offer by that much, and mysteriously the email was never received, even though I have no problem receiving email from anyone else. They are unethical and have poor customer service. I gave them an opportunity to right a wrong, however, their customer service agent was nothing but rude from the very beginning of the interaction. According to her, she "might" give my information to her manager to call me back. Seriously?!? It's been about a week since I wrote this review, and I never did hear back from the customer service agent. However, I did get a check for the $18 difference in the mail with an attached note that apologized that I was not satisfied with my previous payment. Obviously I still have concerns about the customer service , as well as the fact that I never received any counter offer email . However , it was a pleasant surprise to see that they attempted to resolve what happened . And I felt like I needed to update my post and change my rating from the 1 to a 2."
"Signed up, put in my first DVD barcode, they valued it at 14 cents, the next 16 cent, same DVD selling on eBay for $5.99, ended up putting a sign up and made $2-$5 each CD, DVD."
"After waiting 3 weeks from the day the box was delivered to them, they finally processed the order only to say that 3 of the items were not in the box and another 3 items didn't have barcodes. I received no response to my email that I sent to them telling them that everything was in the box and that the items had barcodes. I do not recommend using this company. "
"Was a bit skeptical to start but the company paid as promised and in a timely fashion. "
"I was more than pleased to hear about Decluttr.com. I thought it was too good to be true: a place to send my old stuff and get money for it......no way!! It was totally true and better than I expected. I am truly grateful to finally get rid of old stuff in exchange for a little extra spending money. "
"After receiving the phone Declutter notified me that the original offer of $66 was revised down to $5.30. The downgrade reason was a cracked screen. I had an opportunity to sell the item, after a visual check, direct at the Verizon store when I recently purchased a new phone. The offer at the time was $28 and the screen was not cracked. I came home and got “Sucked” in by the $66 offer. My bad Stay away from this company"
"Pros: Great concept. Easy bar code transfer mechanism. Declutter and get cash for something you're not using anymore. Free shipping.
Cons: They will lose items on your packing list and say item not sent. I read other reviews about that but it happened to me as well. Therefore, terrible QC at the processing center. It's either incompetence or an in-house scheme. Very low ball offers on your products. Expect to get paid a fraction of what they are worth. You can't change your payment method once you select it.
Therefore if decluttering and getting a little cash back appeals to you, and you're okay with DeCluttr saying you didn't send an item that you did in fact send them then this company is perfect for you."
"I used Decluttr last year to get rid of some unwanted items. I tried just now and I had about $9 worth of DVDs and books, a big box crammed full. But there app now states that there is a $15 minimum before I send them away. This is obviously a recent change and it's ridiculous! Never using this company ever again!"
"Payment came fast and really easy to do. Great service!"
"I love this. It is so easy and I don't have piles of books floating around."
"Horribly slow process. They make up fake issues to lower the offer. Im still waiting for the funds which i ask to be deposited into account. Dont believe all that BS about fast service and top dollar."
