"The only faults I found in my experience are: I did not get an order update and the item I ordered was not available and I was not informed until after I was charged.
However, they handled these situations nicely. An email to customer support in regards to my order was returned promptly with the status and a tracking number.
A nice email notified me of the out of stock and after contacting I was given a full refund on the item that I had been charged for.
Everything was handled in a very timely manner. They continue to be one of the places I purchase from online and have done so for years!

"Ordered some computer parts, paid $30 extra for Priority Mail as I needed the parts quickly. They shipped by the next day. But USPS lost the box, it never left the Houston post office. Not Directron's fault, but after I contacted Directron on Dec 26th 2007 (24 days after I placed the order), they kept telling me to just wait longer. Directron said they had to wait 45 days to file with USPS, but USPS told me 30 days. I had to contact them several times after 45 days were up to get a response over 60 days after the order was placed telling me that I had to wait until USPS made good on the insurance before Directron would refund my money.

It took until Feb 25th 2008 for Directron to refund my money, over 60 days after I contacted them and over 80 days after I placed the order. I feel there was more they could have done to keep me as a customer.

I think the real measure of a person or company is not when things go right, but how they respond when things go wrong."

This was a good decision because this case is packaged by Lian-Li with straps on the box that decrease the likelihood of UPS tossing it around awkwardly (just grab the strap). GREAT product, collapsable and big enough for all my high end stuff."

"I found directron.com using a froogle.com search for the Antec 900 computer case. The site was well layed out and the price for the case was the lowest I'd seen.
The ordering process was simple except for the payment option I chose, which was paypal.
I made the order but I was not directed to the paypal site. Instead I received an email from directron.com with one line that said I needed to login to my paypal account and transfer funds to an email address provided. I did this but I did not receive a confirmation email that my funds had been received.
I called directron.com the next day and after my second attempt I was put in contact with a representative who confirmed that my payment had been received and that my item would be shipped the next day.
That step in the process was a little unnerving, but overall I am very pleased with the service and pricing at directron.com
I will use the website again, but a simpler paypal interface with immediate comfirmation of payment would help me feel more confident in shopping with directron.com
