"DO NOT BUY from this place. Pure bait and switch. I needed a 1tb retail WD harddrive (WD10EADS) for a project. I was looking everywhere on the net, but everyone just had the OEMs, only stores had Retail. Well, then I come across eWiz stating they have Retail for $15 more than I found OEM at other places. I wanted Retail, so thought the $15 was worth it. I ordered the RETAIL drive on the 19th. I received it on the 26th as it was suppose to. Open it up to find an OEM drive. Called eWiz "customer care" (sarcasm), who told me that I would have to pay to return the drive, even though it was their mistake!! And the lady didn't even care that they made the mistake. The lady wouldn't let me speak to a manager or supervisor at all, then finally gave me a phony extension # for the manager, and all I did was ask to speak to a manager, didn't yell at all and was totally calm (I believe yelling doesn't accomplish much over the phone since they can just hang up). So I called over and over and tried other extensions and finally got a gentleman who was very helpful and said they would pick up the drive because it was their mistake on advertising it as retail on the webpage. I called back later and said I'd keep the drive because I needed to get this project done and had a business emergency so I couldn't wait for them to pick it up the next day. I could have gotten the drive cheaper and faster elsewhere if this mistake didn't happen. But I let it go, sometimes that happens. I check the webstie again almost a week later to make sure other people don't get scammed, and sure enough, they still haven't changed it. The gentleman I spoke to even had admitted that their product manager noticed the mistake, yet there is no change after all this time. Now I can see it's all about the bait and switch with this company (reading through other reviews now I see I'm not the only one). Stay away at all costs!!! Now I just want to get my credit card bill to make sure they didn't charge me twice when I decided to keep the drive. I buy all my stuff online, and with many different vendors, but this has been one of the worst experiences, probably the worst. Thank god I made copies of their webpages as proof of their shadiness, or who knows what could have happened, or if they would have ever admitted the mistake. Obviously they don't care to change it."

"Ordered Intel Quad Core Q9550 2.83 GHz Processor. All that was sent was the chip and nothing else. On the chip it states Q9550 etc. After installing it and starting up my computer, I check My Computer/System Information/System Properties and read:

Intel Pentium III Xeon processor
1.14 GHz

So for $309 I get a rip off processor,a ton a wasted time, and most likely a big headache trying to get a refund and returning this fake cpu. Thanks a ton."

"I received my order on, 1/12/09, of three Masscool USB 3.5” IDE+SATA Hard Drive Enclosures. To my surprise the last Masscool box had the factory seal broken and the USB Hard Drive enclosure was missing. I immediately called 1-***-***-**** and was told to select one of three numbers to direct me further. After selecting option one and pressing the number one, there was complete silence for an unusually long period. As if the phone was dead. I hung up and tried again with the same result. I also tried sending an email through their feedback and never heard back from them.

I have not been able to contact these people to resolve my missing item. This was the first time I have bought from them and I will never consider shopping at their site again.

"Yes I was very pleased with the order. I was very disappointed that I could not have had the order shipped to Puerto Rico which is where my son resides. I had to pay 12-13 dollars to get it to me then I had to pay an additional 35 dollars insured to ship it to him. I feel that was a waste of money which I could put to better use but otherwise he is very happy with the product. And by the way he was the one who directed me to purchase from your company.
