"The order was processed expediently by the reseller (eWiz) and the product was received sooner than expected.

The Zalman ZM-NC2000 notebook cooler at full speed runs more quietly than my notebook's internal fan at full speed. My notebook's internal fan only kicks off when the processing reaches 100% CPU utlization over prolonged periods of time. The only drawback I have discovered is that the second USB port did not operate at USB 2.0 speeds when I plugged in a USB flash drive. The ZM-NC2000 is sytlishly designed, operates at a low volume at maximum speed and keeps the laptop running cool.

Overall, I am very pleased with the reseller and the product.

"I bought a Asus M2R32-MVP motherboard from Ewiz due to their great price, and received the board shortly thereafter (10/31).

I purchased the board because I already had a faulty ASUS board that needed RMA'd and I didnt want to be out of a computer for too long.

After receiving the new board - I found out that it had a faulty SATA port (was locked into PIO mode *very slow*)

So I emailed Ewiz within 2 weeks of receiving it, and requested that they RMA and send me a new board instead of doing a manufacturer RMA and the result being me getting a used remanufactured board. (Because i've notified them in their 30 days I should be able to get a refund / replacement with a new board right?)

Well I wrote several times to ****@**** took 2 weeks to finally get a reply and 'Johnny' agreed after several emails to get me a new board out, as soon as they received the old one back, i figured I would be happy. This took quite some time to finally get a response, and then another RMA request via their forms. (BUT johnny said i'd be taken care of).

I sent the board back to them on 12/11, recieved by them on 12/15, and finally on 1/9 I get a replacement.. GREAT i'm running again, but unfortunately this board is completely DOA and wont POST at all. Now i'm fuming - because well they sent me a refurb board, and it's dead too.

Now their not honoring their words that even though I initiated and wrote them AND had an RMA # before their '30 day guarantee' was up, now I'm only afforded manufacture repair assistance.

So I pay for a NEW motherboard, get a bad board, spend my $ to rma it, and get another DOA board, and now they want me to RMA it again for manufacture repair. (So now i'm expected to wait another month for another replacement/refurb board).

Luckily they've stalled me over 60 days so I cannot initiate a chargeback from visa.

Scandalous company! I spend thousands on computer components per year as I build systems, and I WILL NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.


As per their response below - I EMAILED within 14 days of the delivery date of the product, please dont try to act like you guys followed your policies, THEN in that email where i requested a replacent, i was ignored for 3 emails (2 weeks) before I finally got an email saying that you would replace my motherboard with a new one.. The TIME delay was YOUR problem.. Not mine.. If i had shipped it to you right away without a RMA you wouldve rejected it per your policies as well.. Your company makes policies only to benefit your company - NOT cater to the customer F------

"I have not received my merchandise yet. Why? Because eWiz makes you go through so much bureaucratic rigamarole to have an order shipped somewhere other than your billing address (something I have NEVER encountered before) that I elected to have it shipped to my home, instead of work (which I would have greatly preferred). Unfortunately, UPS is POSITIVELY ATROCIOUS at home delivery. Their first attempt on Tuesday, December 30, resulted in no delivery, as they claim the office of my apartment complex would not accept the package. Their next attempt will not be until Friday, January 2, as UPS decided to have no ground delivery on December 31.

Dear eWiz: Please switch to a REAL package carrier for your deliveries; with DHL out of the picture, UPS is now officially the worst in the country.
