eWiz seems to be aware that items are not in stock but still on their site. It seems to be a way to get you to commit and then upsell you to something that is in stock."

The board is a Christmas gift, so it will be a while before I will be able to comment on its condition or any interactions with Ewiz should it be necessary to return the board. "Ordered several items on a Friday, when I called the following Tuesday to ask about my order status, was told for the first time that two items were on back-order. Agreed to substitute one of the items (a CD/DVD burner) with a different model, but would wait for the second item to come back into stock (which I was told would be the end of the week). Called again at the end of the week (Friday, a week after originally placing the order), discovered that while the second item was in stock, the CD/DVD burner was never switched, therefore my order was still stuck in processing (and not going to ship until after the weekend). Canceled the order, and have since placed a new order at another online retailer.
Shipping rates were also expensive compared to other retailers for the same exact items. I've shopped at ewiz several times in the past and have recommended them to friends, but will now no longer do so."
