"I ordered an item from eWiz on December 9th, which was supposedly in stock. A day after the order confirmation I received an email asking to call the customer service representative. I called their number and was informed that my Mastercard had a problem (which was not confirmed by an issuer after I called their support). So, I had to use my Visa instead - only to receive another email a day after claiming the item's out of stock. Another call to customer service, and the representative promised to have it in stock by Wednesday next week.
A week after, I called again and asked if I have to cancel the order, I was suggested to wait as they expected the item back in stock soon.
Finally, the next day I received a call and email confirming that the item was back in stock and in the process of shipping. When I verified the web site, I realized that the price of the item went down about 10%, so I tried calling the customer service to ask at least to adjust the price after the long wait I had to go through. There was no-one available, so I emailed my request. However, on Monday when I finally got to speak with the customer service, I was told that eWiz would still charge me the original price as the order was already shipped, even though they were never able to deliver the item on time. In effect, I was better off canceling the first order and ordering again after they had the merchandize in stock. And I'll actually get it only by December 30th!
To make a long story short - it's an example of very bad and misleading trade practice, reminding me of the rip-off east coast stores. Very dissatisfied, and I would not suggest dealing with them."

"Very disappointing as company has good ratting here. Ordered some components to upgrade on 12/13. Expected shipment by UPS ground by 12/17 and delivery by 12/23 or 12/24.
After order in hand for 48 hours ewiz emails and says DVD re out of stk - sub or cancel. I email back immediately and two hours later I am told you have to call - gee coulda put that in the first email? Expect shipment that day or next. No Two days later email at 6 AM ca time. no reponse by 6pm call and tell them ship tonight , 3 day shipping or cancel. they ship GROUND on 12/18. I have disputed the charges and will tell UPS that I refuse the package , sch for 12/29 delivery as I am outta town all week.
12/26 - note that all of a sudden we have two reveiwers on here praising shipping performance. They have all but one reveiw each posted. Curious...have no proof they are plants but.....odd.
12/29 - there it is again Marcb7 posts a negative reveiw on 12/23/2008 and within 24 hours a I love ewiz posting shows up from a customer with no other reviews ?

Sure - oh by the way - tried calling you - your customer service person at your 866 # clearly cannot understand English enonugh top get you paid.
For someome to provide adequate customer service they need to be able to comprehend English not just read it.

"I got what I wanted quickly enough. My only dissatisfaction comes from thier packaging methodology. The weight / volume of the package they sent my item in realitive to the actual item weight / volume was more than excessive. This fact in combination with the packaging material choices they have made ( non-recyclable filling material ) aren't necessarily the most Earth friendly. For as much money as they're charging for shipping and handling, they should be able to do better (or just charge less)."
