They claimed that these drives were new, but the arrived scratched, and marred. One had the plastic housing cracked around the power plug.

Dealing with customer service on the return was a nightmare. They finally issued an RMA, and then I sent the drives back. Over a week after they received them, they tried to tell me I never sent them. After I provided the shipment tracking info, they said that they couldn't find them. In the end, they sent me three more drives - scratched and marred - just like the first set. I considered sending the drives to the CA state attorney general, since they were clearly selling MARRED, USED equipment as NEW.
