Installation very vague…

"I was directed to purchase the wiring harness for my 2018 bmw x2. After receiving the product the installation instructions were very vague… I used the chat to request some assistance and was told to watch the x3 video and told the wiring is all the same…. It is not. When I requested additional help I was told they have no more information for me. Also because I tried to install with the x3 video it is no longer returnable… so useless….i won’t purchase from the company again…"

Easy Peasy

"I'm an experienced DIYer who has reached his mid 80s -- that point where the mind knows what to do but the body doesn't always cooperate. I needed a hitch for my Grand Cherokee but was a little reluctant to tackle the job myself. After watching the installation videos on Etrailer, it was apparent that this really was a simple job. I ordered the hitch and wiring harness and was able to complete the job in about an hour (would have been faster when I was younger). The parts fit perfectly and the videos were truly worth more than a thousand words -- I'm happy with this supplier!"

Totally forgot about my refund after admonishing me to be patient.

"Totally forgot about my refund after admonishing me to be patient. Products were good and of high quality. After ordering product number one I found additional damage to my seal and had to return product one and ordered product number two. Product number two arrived very timely and applied for a refund on number one. Detailed instructions including certain details that were "impossible" to accomplish but printed the label and shipped anyway. Called after the return had been received as there was no acknowledgement that the product was in their possession. Was advised it would take 14 days to process the return. Called again not having received a response in 21 days and asked about the return with, OOPs we forgot! Received the refund 2 days later. In an online retail world dominated by Amazon it is surprising to hear that my refund request was forgotten. Again the products were both good."

"The radio came very quick, was a perfect fit and a fairly easy install anthough it would have been nice to have some wiring instructions with it. I had to go online to find them. I like the radio/ player and it looks and sounds great."

Great place

"I called, told what I had, they got me the right parts, nice C.S. They had to run my card more than once since I forgot I had a cap, they were patient. Went in next day to finish getting what I needed, and my stuff was there like they said and I just had to go in and pay. Delivery was a Friday and Monday, ordered on Thursday and Friday. I recommend these folks"

Difficult to get refund for returned items-Customer service agents not helpful

"I wanted a remote keyless entry lock on my LEER truck cap. After being told by an e-trailer agent that it would fit my camper shell, I ordered one from e-trailer. As soon as I opened the box and compared their unit to my camper's lock, I immediately saw that it would not fit. I boxed the unit back up in original packaging and returned it to e-trailer using their prepaid UPS label. It was delivered to their return warehouse 16 days ago by UPS. I have yet to receive my refund. Their customer service agent tells me it takes 10-14 days after receipt to process a refund. I may have to request a charge back to my credit card from the bank to get my money back. That is an unnecessary hassle for everyone involved. "
