Got a call from Henry at Fumfie, and he went out of his way to make sure I would get my camera by Friday. I am currently awaiting a tracking number, but he gave me his direct number and e-mail address. I appreciated the immediate response from Fumfie and their dedication to customer service, and am now eagerly awaiting my camera!

Ordered a DSLR camera from Fumfie on a Monday with "Ground" shipping, which they "guaranteed" would be delivered in 7-10 business days. I calculated that to be the Friday of the following week, which was perfect since I was leaving for my vacation on Saturday. I got an order confirmation immediately, but no tracking number. I called them right after to confirm that the item would ship immediately, so I would get it by end of the following week. The sales agent said yes, that my understanding was correct. A week (!) later, another agent calls me and wants to "confirm" my shipping address (and tries to upsell me on a battery). At this point, I confront him because "ground" shipping will no longer reach me by Friday. He thinks I'm accusing him of not honoring his "guarantee", and he starts counting business days from when I ordered, but starts with the following day (Tuesday). He also skips Friday because it was Passover, so that was not a business day (even though USPS/UPS/FedEx are all working). So, the Friday I needed my camera would be only the 8th business day, and therefore I "chose the wrong shipping option". He was getting quite loud at this point, so I just told him to cancel the order, and I wouldn't be shopping there again."

"Well I ordered my product on March 28th and heard nothing from them as far as if the item has shipped etc. So I called on April 2nd, and got a rep that told me they would be shipping out my items out that day, and said it really usually takes about 3 business days, and not 7-10 like indicated. So no response or update, on April 10th I emailed the company about the status of my order. I did get a swift response to their credit. But told me there were some delays getting it from their distributor and should ship out in 24-48 hours if there are no further delays.
The amount of time for the items to ship doesn't bother me so much, but being lied to does. Don't say you will ship something unless you are going to do it, much less a week later. Don't do business with these guys besides they try to make their money by having you call them after you made a purchase and give you add ons like "better" batteries, and insurance before your purchase is actually finalized. Pay the extra coin and go somewhere that actually performs like a professional company because this company is a joke. "

I got an order confirmation email from fumfie requesting me to call in to complete the order. I found that a bit strange, but it was actually a pleasant experience (I was offered extended warranty and battery upgrades, but was not pressured at all) and the customer service rep I talked to confirmed that the package would HAVE to be signed for. I live in an apartment complex, so it was reassuring that such an expensive purchase would not be just left at my door.
Overall, my experience with fumfie was great - friendly staff, good prices, excellent "freebies", and fast & safe shipping.
Some of fumfie's reviews from a few years back were not positive, but I had no problems and have no complaints! I will check fumfie again in the future when I need accessories for my camera."

"Having been burned once by one of the many camera sites that sell cheap and then try to sell you up on a battery to close the deal; I went into my purchase with Fumfie.com very skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the follow-up call that they truly wanted to simply verify my purchase. The customer service rep Zack was friendly and helpful and quickly processed my order which was promptly shipped out that very same day. Later when I had a UPS related pickup problem, I called Zack in customer service and he changed the pickup instructions with UPS literally in minutes allowing me to pick up the camera that evening. That is good customer service! Only comment I have is that the started kit included a SD memory card which wasn't the correct one for the camera I ordered which surprised me. I call Fumfie and customer rep (Alan) told be it was a generic starter package but he was nice about it and did try to make it right by offering to sell me the correct one at a discount. I can see why they have an "A" Better Business Bureau rating. I would definitely buy from them again and would recommend them to others."

"I ordered my camcorder on a Saturday. On Monday I received an upsell call (not at all high pressure) and I received my camcorder 10 days later. The product is exactly as described and I couldn't be more thrilled! I really don't know how they can sell this camcorder for more than a hundred dollars less than anywhere else I looked AND include a Vivitar tripod, a 4gb SD card, a lens uv protector, a high capacity card reader, a nice camera bag and a disposable camera at no extra charge!! I would definitely check here first the next time I need to purchase camera gear and/or accessories!"
