"I was looking for a good price on a Pentax SLR camera for Christmas. I found the Fumfie website through a shopbot and it listed the best price (an extension of cyber Monday). There were other items listed as current specials, so I added an sd card to my order. I found the website easy to navigate and place orders. I was a bit surprised to receive an email a couple days later asking me to call and confirm the order. This is not typical, but I called and the order was completed after the service rep. asked me to consider adding an extra battery to the order. I elected not to add the item, although I think it was a good price, and the representative completed the order. I received it quickly and have been very happy with my purchase. I would certainly order from this company again."
"I placed an order with Fumfie on 12/18/2011 for a Samsung HMX-Q10 HD Camcorder. In an email received from Fumfie on 12/19/2011 I was told that I should call Fumfie back because apparently the order was not yet placed since their sales reps could not reach me, to "confirm" the order. This is despite the fact that I was home and available all day! I did call them and ended up getting a sales pitch to buy additional items! I succumbed and ordered an additional memory card. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to overnight shipping which I refused since I was told the order would arrive within 5-7 days which would be in time when I needed the item , January 1st. I was promptly billed for the item that same day. By January 6th the items was still not received - yet I have paid for it on the 19th of December. I called to ask why and was told that it had STILL not shipped. I cancelled the item and asked for a refund. My daughter really wanted the item and asked me to place the order for her again. I reluctantly agreed, and placed another order asking that they not hold it up by having a sales person call as I am not interested in adding anything more to the order. All I want is this item to ship! The following day I received an email stating that they "must" call for verification purposes. What verification?? My voice??? What other company does this?? You place an order online and they get payment what more do they need to verify?? Sooo as requested by Fumfie, I called their salesperson asking that they ship this order. Each time you call the company you are on hold for 10 –30 minutes, and again, they tried selling additional items, which I refused and asked that they please just ship this order. Again, I was told it would arrive in 5-7 days. Today, Jan. 12th, I received an email from Fumfie telling me that they tried calling me and could not reach me, so I must call them so the order can be placed. What??It was supposedly placed when I called them on the 6th! I called them, and asked what the problem was and WHEN if ever the item would ship. I was told that it has NOT. They do not have the item and they do not know when or if it would arrive. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told that the person who orders these is on some sort of a trade show. What sort of business is this? What if I had never called to check on my order, I would wait indefinitely for this order? This is the first time I have done business with this company and will definitely be the last. I am located in PA they are in NY How long can an item possibly take to get here. Someone walking would have had it here by now! If they don't have an item, they should say so on their website and not advertise for it, bill you, and never ship it. In fact, they are STILL advertising this product on their website as available. The question is, Is this item available to all others and not to me because I complained? I have all supporting emails and dates and billing as necessary.
Update;
seller has contacted me and resolved the issue. They have upgraded to a much better and more expensive camera and will ship immediately. "

"Fantastic! It almost sounds crazy but they really came through to deliver the very best price with really no hassle. You can't expect to save $300 on a D700 anywhere else for two short phone calls and a quick web order. So I was really skeptical here in TX of the low price camera places. I called Fumfie and Jack gave me the run through, guaranteed me no hassles or delays, and I placed the order, bracing myself for the worst. But it was the best. This is a D700, online, best price I know exists for US retail box. I called them back to confirm. I talked to Jack, super nice & friendly, and he offered me two items I already have, NO pushing at all folks. No bait/switch which we already had the day before elsewhere. This is a great store at the best price. We have a photography business and needed another backup Nikon..Why would I pay more elsewhere?
