I've been looking for a Nikon D700 camera body at a low price for months and any time I would find one, I would discover that it was a gray market camera. When I finally found this camera on Fumfie.com at $350 less than all other retailers sell it for, I had to call the company to make sure it was a U.S. Model.

The sales rep, Zak, reassured me that the camera was a U.S. model and it was brand new. On top of that, he offered me 5-year warranty at half of the advertised price.

He reassured me the camera would ship the same day (this was Monday after Christmas).

I bought both and played the waiting game. I received the camera, free shipping, just 3 days later!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but I was willing to take a gamble on a little known online retailer, and I'm so happy I did!

No bait and switch took place, and no pushy salesmanship. Zak, the sales rep, asked me if I needed any lenses, batteries and filters (an obvious attempt to sell more product), and when I told him I had everything I needed, he didn't push it, which I appreciated.

I later had a problem with the freebie case and lens cover. The case had an odor, and I had failed to specify that I was using a different lens than the camera ordered. When I called Fumfie, there was no wait time. The salesperson, Robert, was terrific, and immediately told me he would send a new case and the correct UV lens (even though it was my fault not specifying the size). I am so impressed. I will let everyone know that, unlike so many on-line retailers, you can trust Fumfie. I will definitely look to Fumfie for all of my camera needs. Thanks again Fumfie.

"Transaction went pretty smooth except for the undisclosed "insurance fee" that was not shown on the website while placing my order. Was notified of this fee after calling the company to verify my order. Had even called the company prior to making this purchase to see if there were any sales tax charge. Was told no sales tax charge but was also NOT notified of any "insurance fee" during that phone call. But I was compensated with a complimentary camera bag since I was not aware of the fee. Order was recevied prior to date promised. And at the time only this website had this product in stock when ordering. Also am receiving a free started kit from Fumfie for providing my order feedback. So I'd give 4 out of 5 stars. But I think the business would have more satisfied customers if that insurance fee were disclosed on the website. "

"I ordered a Canon Camcorder from FumFie and for some reason they asked to call to confirm the order. I called them and they asked me for accessories. I ended up adding a UV filter and an 8 hour battery.

The order shipped on time, I am quite satisfied with the camcorder (lowest price from all the retailers). But I got a 4 hour battery instead of an 8 hour battery. I called them up for an RMA for battery and UV filter (since the camcorder has a built in cap and the filter is really not useful). They didnt want to do that and so they offered to ship me another 4 hour battery. I was ok with that but I had to email them a couple of times before they finally shipped the second 4 hour battery.

However, turns out that the second battery is of much inferior quality (even though even the first one is Vivitar and the second is Bower). Bower does not give charge information at all so you do not know if the battery is charged or how much battery life is left when you are using the camcorder. So, it is quite unusable really and you will not use this battery for any important events.

I have asked them for a RMA for the battery multiple times. For some reason, they do not like that. They are willing to ship me more filters to compensate. However, overall my experience is not satisfying and I cannot rate them any higher.

Overall, their strategy is to lure you to buy additional stuff by forcing you to call them. If you can resist that, then by all means go and order from FumFie.
