"I made a purchase from Fumfie.com with Order# 35404. I was promised by Jack (extn 313) that both my Nikon D7000 & Nikon 50mm f/1.4G  are original USA models and are covered by Nikon USA warranty. I even called the sales team later again to re-confirm this on May 31, 2011. The price of these models were also very high and almost same as in Amazon (which sells USA models). Now, after receiving the product, I tried registering my Nikon Camera & Lens by calling Nikon Support & at Nikonusa.com. Both resulted in saying that these are not Nikon USA models. Also, the outside carton box is tampered in one side. It seems someone has opened the carton and then put tape to cover it.

I am highly dissatisfied with this kind of sales & service from www.fumfie.com. Why do you promise something like this when you can't keep the promise? I have not even opened the camera & lens as the serial numbers are not covered by USA. I purchase almost everything online, but have never had such bad experience in my life!

I sent my concern to them through email. Need to call and check on Sunday when their stores open.

I got call back, the rep assured full refund with all shipping and no restocking fee. The issue is resolved. i am thus happy."

"Do not order from these guys! They are very dishonest and bait you with their low prices. I had to call them after 3 days since I didn't get a shipping notification! They say it was company policy that I call them or they call me and it look long bc it was a 2 day holiday for them! I call BS.. Anyway, he starts by trying to sell me accessories for the camera which I specifically told him I am not interested.. Then tries to sell me extended warranty.. not interested! Asked him when will they ship it.. comes back and says that there is an additional 9% insurance for the shipping! WTF! Why is it not included in the Check Out total! It's in our Terms and Agreement fine print on the web! Alrighty then.. Cancelled my order.. Guys, you have been warned! These guys are scam artists at best.. Good Luck..

So the Director of Business Development from Fumfie calls me and tries to "bribe" me with free accessories after the cancellation and putting in this bad review.. Sorry, I want you guys to change your policy! Ship out after processing the order and stop calling your consumer to buy additional accessories and extended warranty!! Add the additional 9% shipping insurance line to your Total Price on your Checkout Page so that consumers can compare prices correctly and not be surprised! He says he will have the system updated in a few weeks but I call BS b/c they have the same complaint for over a year now. "The camera I purchased was defective so I sent it back. It took weeks of calls and messages to get a human to confirm that it was indeed defective and was being sent for repairs. Then it took several weeks more to learn that it was not actually being fixed. It had been placed on the desk of the repair person and forgotten. No one could tell me how this happened or confirm that someone was going to get to work on it. Lots of "let me look into it and call you back" and then no return calls. Then after several more weeks of calls and messages (literally NO ONE in customer service returns calls or answers the phone) I found a human who told me that it would be fixed in 4-6 weeks as the result of a backordered part. In summary, they sent me a defective camera that should have been replaced, let it sit for several weeks before even ordering a part, took several more weeks to get the part and install it, all the while never responding to my inquiries or doing anything to keep me abreast of the repairs. I bought the camera when I was 6 months pregnant to take pictures of my newborn and was not even able to use the camera until he was four months old. Missed all the beautiful early moments of life. What's even worse, the camera STILL doesn't work right! It has been by far my most frustrating experience as a consumer and not only do I refuse to consider dealing with fumfie ever again, I have also talked several photog friends out of buying from them. AVOID!!"
