I was not thrilled by the extra Insurance fee tacked onto the final price and it was not separately listed in my invoice. So far the camera and its accesories work fine, and if the price is right I would buy from Fumfie again!!! Note: please updated your website about this extra insurance fee in detail (per Fumfie sales person it is a mandatory fee)! My order was placed over the phone.

"Had high hopes for this company based on other reviews. Unfortunately there seems to be some dishonesty going on. I called to "confirm" my order so they could try to sell me overpriced accessories that I didn't need and proceeded to tell me there would be a 9% fee for shipping insurance. Thats an extra $52 added to the $589 camera. I asked if I could have the camera at the $579 price since it has dropped the day after I ordered it. He said that would be fine and that the new total would be $672. How do you get $10 off then have the total go up $30 (very shady). I asked him why that was and he said the 9% fee was just a number he threw out there and not definite. I said that was crazy and I wouldn't pay that. He told me he could give me a free accessory kit for my trouble. I said forget it, I want it with the actual 9% fee so he agreed and charged me $642. Rediculous!!! Update 5/23/11 Customer service sent out a spare battery for the problem and stated the Sales Rep is no longer with them and they were changing system so that sales staff is not on comission based salary. Would use them again based on the follow up with customer service."

"I was very pleased with my purchase. I already owned two Canon EF lenses from my 35mm Canon Rebel which work beautifully with the Canon Rebel Xs Digital (my purchase). The camera arrvied at my home in a matter of days. The price started out at $360 but landed at $401 with S&H which I thought was a little high. However I was considering a point & shoot in the $300-$350 range so this was still a heck of a camera for the final price. I love it!
