"I am glad I found Fumfie while searching for Canon SLR 7D!
I was shopping for the lowest cost with good reviews and Fumfie met all the requirements I was looking for. I was especially impressed with the immediate phone call from customer service to make sure and confirm my orders and how he was knowledgeable to answer my questions about the camera. Only part I did not appreciate was how the site never explained the insurance cost for shipping ( which I found out after talking to the customer service representative who called. I was not too happy since I was not thinking of spending another dime however, even with the insurance, their cost was competitive so I decided to purchase it. I will definitely shop at Fumfie in the future!"

"Fumfie.com consistently has the lowest prices on most camera equipment. I was very satisfied with how quickly my transaction was processed and shipped out!! That being said, I was taken by surprise with the additional "mandatory" 9% insurance added to my order when they called to confirm. I think Fumfie really needs to include this charge at checkout, so your buyers are aware of how much they are spending up front. For me, Fumfie was the cheapest until they add the insurance, then they were the same price as all the other stores. Bottom line 1) Fumfie.com needs to make sure buyers are aware of insurance charge 2) if you are okay with paying insurance, the professionalism and quickness from order to shipping can't be beat. "

"Fumfie website was easy to navigate, it had great options for accessories to buy along with my camera. Once I placed the order, a representative called to make sure I had all the right accessories. He also sold me a 5 hour battery, which I learned later they don't actually make for this model yet. They should have told me that up front instead of selling me something that doesn't exsist yet. "Ordered a camcorder from Fumfie, total came up to $314. Next day they sent me an email asking to call the store to expedite the order. The salesperson immediately started pushing accessories. After I refused he said that the order is ready to ship and that the total including the insurance is $357. I ended up canceling the order (I am yet to make sure they did not charge my credit card). Apparently the business model of this place is based on a simple bait and switch premise.

After canceling the order, I spoke to Henry, a customer support representative, who straightened things out and shipped the camcorder for the originally quoted price of $314.

The saga continued: after being promised a camcorder for $314 I waited for a shipping notice for few days. Having received none, I called the company. It turned out that unfortunately they oversold this model of the camcorder and it is completely out of stock. But the salesperson assured me that he would be happy to sell me a newer model just for extra $300.

"I have just recieved my product, and have not been able to use it yet. I have to charge the batteries first before I am able to use it. What I have recieved looks fine, and the delivery time was much faster than indicated.
The only bad thing about Fumfie is that you pay delivery insurance over all products over 100 dollars, and this is kind of hidden. After ordering it online, there was a suprise of an extra 20 dollars. It did say it somewhere in the Terms and Conditions, but who really goes over this completely. It should be indicated more clearly in my opinion.

"I bought a DSLR from Fumfie. The price was competitive and the site was easy to use. However, the price is not as low as advertised. Nowhere on their website they mention about handling and insurance cost and the listed price when you order don't include this cost. They call you the next day to confirm your shipping then they tell you since you agree to their policy, there will a handling and shipping cost added to the price. After that is tacked on, they were about $10 lower than Amazon. I would rather have ordered from Amazon had I known that."
