"I bought a Canon Rebel T2i from Fumfie. The listed price on their site is $669. After I placed the order, they gave me a call to confirm the order and the total became $739 which included $70 shipping insurance. Although the insurance is high the total price is also good.
When I got the package, the battery is general battery. I called their service. The customer service is nicer than what I expected. He said the they upgrade the battery to a high capacity one, and he asked me if I also want the original one. I said yes, and he sent me the original one for free.
I am still a little concern why they take such trouble to do this, but I choose to believe fumfie since their customer service person seems nice."
"If you read a few posts about Fumfie, you'll see that they tack on a few bucks for "shipping insurance" on large dollar orders. If you can get past that fact (which should probably be reflected better in the price at comparison search engines (hint to Fumfie!)), you may discover what *I* found out:
Quick shipping, low cost:
They ship you the product very quickly (mine took just 4 days to get to me), and even with that 'insurance fee' thing, still it costs you less than the "other guys".
Good old fashioned customer care:
They will have you call them, and then they will probably offer you a deal on a battery or other accessory. Some people were really taken aback by that, but hey: Go to any local camera store in person, and they'll recommend a couple of accessories, yes? So I just said "No need for 'extras' today. Maybe later". They were totally cool with that.
Annnnnnd great results:
I'm very happy. I got a Canon HF S20 camcorder. It was brand new in its unopened USA-edition Canon box, straight from the factory. It had all the stuff I expected (the factory battery, the camera, the cables, CDs, etc, etc) and I got it for a mighty cheap price.
Thanks, Fumfie!"
"Product was exactly as I was expecting. Fumfie called me the morning after I made my order online to verify I had an SD card so that my new camera would work. Customer saervice was great and helped me to get my invoice number."
"good customer service, shipment delivered efficiently, honor to the business."
"I purchased a Sony DSLR from Fumfie a month ago and am very pleased with my experience. The customer reps were very helpful and were even able to add some insight and advice in what type of camera would suit me best. While the camera price was much lower than anywhere else on the net, I was charged an insurance fee which ended up being about 10% of the cost of the camera, and I was not notified about the added charge until after I paid for it. I completely understand the need for ensuring fragile equipment - just wish that the required insurance fee was more clearly stated during the purchase process. All in all, very happy with the camera and Fumfie."
"I can only comment on the order I just received. I cannot say that they're the best because I only had one order so far, so we'll see...
It arrived on time and I suppose fortunately for me the package I got was indeed brand new!! As...it IS supposed to be.... Someone earlier wrote how their camera had a generic battery with missing warranty card and other missing items. This was NOT my experience with my purchase of the D700 and everything looks just fine. Customer service is indeed helpful as the others have said. I am willing to try them again. I usually shop adorama or B&H. "
"This place runs a scam. The reason I went with them is that they offer cameras at much lower prices than you can find elsewhere. But, they tamper with the contents of the box and I am fairly sure I got a refurbished camera and not a new one despite the claims on the website.
When you order they ask you to call them to complete the order. Once on the phone they tell you about a huge shipping insurance cost and they give you a line about needing to buy a battery (because the one in the box "lasts only twenty minutes"). I said I want the battery that Canon ships with the camera. I didn't get that battery. I got a cheap OEM battery. They claim that everything they sell is "brand new" but they went into the "brand new" box for my camera and replaced the Canon battery with a cheap knock off. I am skeptical if this camera is even new - it most likely is a refurbished camera in the retail box, the box has wear on the seams - not something I've ever seen on a new item.
Terrible experience."
" I purchased the HDR-XR550V and the everything package for Sony XR550V . The delivery from fumfie.com was fast and on time. The price of my camera was low compared to other companies .Their customer service was able to resolve the little problem with my order.Everything about my order is now in perfect shape. Some free products were also given to me. I will always recommend fumfie.com to my friends for all their photographic needs. I hope to buy another product from fumfie in the nearest future. FESTUS"
"First time purchase from this store and everything went well and smooth. Product delivered to Toronto, Canada within 3 days. Customer service was polite, effective and hassle free. Good work."

"Great camera! Just as described. Super fast shipping! Great customer service. Special thanks to Henry to assist me with my order. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great product!"
"I was a little leary at first not knowing anything about Fumfie, but I was easily converted after everything arrived just as I had ordered and i am extremely happy! The service was great and I will definitely use them in the future."
"I found a great price on a Sony HDR-CX550V ($769.00 and free shipping)at Fumfie. Placed the order and within a day, you get a confirmation call - or so they claim. It's really a way to sell you more for the camera. I added an "8 hour battery" and charger and I was charged an additional $189.98 for a Zeikos ZE-SN-UV2 charger (listed on Amazon for $12.99) and a ZE-FV100 battery (listed on Amazon for $25.20) - which means they overcharged me 151.79. Here is where they really get you - they don't do a detailed invoice, they bunch it all together so you can't return additional items if purchased. I dealt with Eric Rich in customer service and the only thing he wanted to do was give me a tripod or lens filters, or a LED light. Even got to the point of $50 back. I refused and I heard a guy in the background yell out "how about nothing". I finally got an RMA number to return everything (was the only other option) but they warned me I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. So now I have to get my credit card company involved. So be warned - this company is not up front and honest and you will not end up with the deal they claim on their website."
"As a non-professional photographer I find that my purchase of the Sigma 70-300 mm lens has greatly enhanced my ability to get candid shots at my sons' athletic events. I can now get some very nice close-ups in action."
"Fumfie does not provide order numbers, but I entered online on October 25th and they called right away to verify information. I received delivery on the 28th. of a Nikon D90 camera kit that included an 18-105MM lens. Albeit with a very inflated shipping and insurance cost ($100). While the camera's manufacturers box was marred, the contents appeared to be intact. BUT...I then attempted to register the camera on the Nikon website and discovered that the serial number was CUT OFF the camera. I also discovered that the lens was not a new lens and the serial number was invalid. After much wrangling I was eventually given a full credit and was informed that I would need to wait a few weeks so they could try to get me the same "awesome" price. They said all their inventory at the time had no serial numbers. Needless to say I opted to order through another source and received a fully warranted US camera system for only pennies more. Beware! Fumfie also offers gifts for good reviews. That should have been my clue."
