"I ordered a D700 camera from Fumfie. After looking through plenty of sites, I took the plunge to save about $800 over the "standard" sites. I was really worried after reading horror stories about other sites not having cameras in stock, being rude about customer service, products not being delivered on time, etc. When I called customer service to confirm my order, they tried to upsell me, but when I declined they were very kind and still very helpful. Camera arrived within 5 business days. The only negative is that there was no warranty card included (I had to call to get it), and the user guide was on a burned cd. However, that is a small inconvenience to save money. Overall, I am very pleased."

"I had precisely the same experience as vikpat, below. Ordered the Canon MF300 camcorder online. I did NOT get an order number from this company. I just called them, after having received two emails asking me to call them. So I did. They explained they wanted to be sure that I actually ordered it because "there's been lots of credit card fraud". Yeah, tell me about it; just happened to me last month.
Anyway, they try and sell me a long-life battery explaining that that's the major complaint with this product; I say yes I know and no thank you. Then they proceed to tell me that there will be a $58 shipping insurance charge because this product is over $100! Really? Insurance is over 25% of the price difference? I never saw that information in the cart when I was checking out, sir. "well it's in our company policy". I just looked that the company policy and it says:
"Insurance is required on all shipments. All shipments will be insured by the shipping company for the first $100.00, and by our third party insurance company for the remainder of the package."
OK, so I didn't go through their entire site to find this. But it also doesn't say the charge will be exorbitant either. I said to cancel my order. Like vikpat, I hope my card doesn't get charged. I will, of course, dispute charges if they do.
In this day and age to have such a ridiculous policy is absurd and counterproductive. I certainly hope that others find this post before they buy from fumfie.com and get shocked, or worse - ripped off. Disgusting."

I placed an order of Canon Vixia HF M300 as the listed price is really good. But then I got an email asking to call to confirm the order. When I called they tried to sell me additional battery for the camcorder at $40. As soon as I said I don't need it (as I can get the same from Ebay for less than $20), the representative told me there is a shipping insurance (Even though it is not mentioned during the checkout - mentioned inside the company policies without any $ amount). After I objected to this hidden fee, they canceled the order. I was not given any cancellation number or anything. Hopefully I will not see any charge on my credit card. "

"upon receiving my camera today i saw it to be a "Grey market camera" i called Nikon and they didn't even have a record of this camera. i then called and spoke with a gentleman from fumfi company that proceeded to blow a gust of wind up my backside the size of Dorthy's tornado... he claimed "we don't sell Grey market goods." if i had known that the camera was a Grey market i could of waited for the one i had paid for from another dealer at $489.00 although i was offered a 3 year extension to the warranty i have no faith that it would be repaired by nikon.as i checked out the warranty company and found them to be useless. i feel as a matter of good faith for them not being honest they should at least refund the difference between the $489 that their competitor was selling the Grey unit for and the $768 i spent with them for a USA model.in fact when i was ordering the unit from you i asked many times "is it a USA model" and was told of course, we don't sell Grey market products.these people are "TOTAL CROOKS" AND WILL NOT ANSWER MY E-MAILS.my next step is to get the law involved..
oct 29th the camera was sent back with the promise that a usa camera would be sent to me on receipt of the japan model. yea sure..... they claimed it would be 2-3 weeks before they would have them...again i say a bunch of crooks.
