"Fumfie has great deals and prices. I did have a problem though when ordering my a330. I called to make sure they had it in stock and that I would have someone pick it up and they confirmed all would be fine and that they had in stock. I had someone go down from Montreal to pick up the camera for that weekend and unfortunately there were no more in stock. So after a week I finally got my camera but now I'm stuck waiting to be able to pick it up. So I still haven't received the item and am hoping everything I ordered is in the package and intact."

"As I'm reading these reviews, my mind is absolutely blown that anyone has actually had a good experience with Fumfie. My experience was the complete opposite and Fumfie seems like nothing but a scam. I was told that the battery that came with my 5D Mark ii was only 20 minutes & that I 'must' buy a better one, which they sell for $279. The pushy (and incredible rude) sales persons Tom told me I could not possibly find this battery for any less anywhere on the internet. Also told me I needed the warranty, b/c the Canon warranty for camera/lens is only 90 days. I said I don't think that is true & he told me I didn't know what I was talking about. He raised his voice & was handling the call horribly, so I asked to speak to his manager & he said he WAS the manager.

Completely frustrated, I decided just to wait for my package & call back if anything seemed fishy. Just as thought, it was a total sales scam. My $3549.99 package showed up with a Zeikos battery ($17.99 on Amazon!) and a Canon warranty clearly stating 1 year warranty. Tom had outright lied and upsold me a piece of crap. Also, be aware that Canon warranty is not valid if the camera is used with non-Canon brand electronics, such as cheap Zeikos batteries.

I called back the next day, asked to speak Tom & he acted the like conversation had never happened. He told me we never talked. After speaking to someone else, I learned that Tom was not the manager (another lie). I asked to speak to whoever was really charge and they said the VP is untouchable, we can't email him & we can't leave him a message b/c he's only there 1-2 days a week & everything is done by Post-it's.

After an hour on the phone, the customer service agent (who was the only good thing about this entire ordeal) helped me figure out a solution. I could keep the camera & lens & get a refund for junk they sold me, minus shipping & insurance fee. Good enough.

Bottom line, the goods are cheap but they will absolutely ROB you with accessories & warranties & an insurance fee (4%-6%, depending on who you talk to, another fishy policy). You will never see a total, even after you put in your CC number & it is charged. They don't send you a receipt of any kind unless you ask for it.

Fumfie may save you some money, but you will pay for it in the end. Do NOT waste your time with them. "

"Do NOT buy from this store - they are misleading, manipulative, and pulled a bait-and-switch on me. Their policies and sales training are all geared to get you to bite on their lower camera price and then manipulate you into spending alot more money on unnecessary accessories. First, they make you call to "confirm your order" - this is so they can sell you more things. They suckered me into buying an additional battery, lying on several counts: 1. that the included battery only lasts 30 min (LIE - it lasts 90 min)); 2. that the additional battery was a manufacturer's battery (LIE - it was a cheap knock-off); and 3. that the additional battery was priced at 1/4 the mfg battery's price (LIE - it was more than the original mfg's battery). Then, between the time I placed the order and received the order, they cut the return policy timeframe in half from 14 to 7 days. So, when the box was opened more than 7 days after receipt (it was a gift), they refused to accept the return. This is NOT a reputable company, and they are NOT interested in serving the customer."

FURTHER INCREASING THE ANXIETY THAT I WAS INVOLVED IN SOME SORT OF CREDIT CARD SCAM.
3.MY CONVERSATION WITH THE COMPANY REP WAS A OBVIOUS SALES PLOY WITH A CERTAIN TARGETED DOLLAR AMOUNT AS THEIR GOAL.
4.LASTLY WHEN I ASKED FOR A INVOICE OF THE ITEMS I AGREED TO PURCHASE. WHAT I RECEIVED WAS A LIST OF PARTS WITH ONLY A TOTAL PRICE AND NOT A INDIVIDUAL PRICING BREAKDOWN. THEREFORE I HAD NO WAY TO DETERMINE THE ACTUAL VALUE OF THE ITEMS.
ALL OF THE ABOVE MADE THE ACTUAL PROCCESS STRESSFUL AND I CAME AWAY FEELING I HAD BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.
