"The only issue I have with iherb is that they are slow to get orders out the door. My last order was on a Friday before their cutoff time, they told me it was shipped via UPS on Saturday, but in reality it was not shipped until Monday. It is the next Friday, and I still have not received my order. "

"Im customer of iherb buying Swedish Bitters. They always give me a good discount. With my 1st purchase they give me a good welcome discount. with my last one i got the thanksgiving discount. When u buy over $50 u get a free shipping. The customer service is really good. They have a line where u can call and get help. The products are delivered on time. The store is located in CA. "I have done business with Iherb for years and they have always treated me fairly. My order usually run $400.00 or better and I always got free shipping and a 7 to 10% discount
Now they do not offer free shipping anymore which I can understand because of the cost of fuel but because of a technicality of not creating a new account before July 31 2006. I did not read it until it was after the date. I am being punished and only receiving a 5% discount instead of a 10% discount on over $450.00. All updated accounts still will get the better discount but I do not know for how long. To me this is being highly unfair to their old and returning customers that has done business with them for years. What next!

"I use carefully studied nutritional supplements. I am so pleased with iHerb. Their prices are low but not consistently the lowest easily found on the net. I need confirmation about online merchants from sources such as ResellerRatings. I avoid marginal and negatively regarded merchants like the plague. That's a key reason I trust iHerb.
I appreciate the broad selection and that it is strictly name brands. I don't need yet more house brand labeled products as I prefer to have the source pretty much identified rather than deliberately obscured.
I see a few negative customer reviews. Too bad to hold grudges for disappointment often beyond their control. Notice iHerb did make offers to try and redeem. Problematical shipping chocolates to Phoenix in summer. Some vendor somewhere will have to offer shipment wrapped in dry ice.
I value iHerb for providing welcome competitive prices on some products a bit obscure and offered mostly by sites that manage to price high by prestige of their "quality." Also some sellers try to flood the market by aggressive marketing at high prices to accomodate their overextension.
The website has improved substantially to a very decent level.
To summarize: more than typical selection, rather specific information over unspecified generalities, pretty good prices while being trustworthy as opposed to several sites that appear possibly shakey, availability and prompt shipping - a reasons I look forward to using iHerb for my needs rather than many other sources.

"I unfortunately had an unfavorable experiance with iherb/ papanature.com. I ordered 2 boxes of Dagoba chocolate for my wife, the order was processed in a very timely manner. The problem was in the shipping method in that I live in Phoenix, Arizona and it is summer in the desert. When I placed my order, there was a selection to ship "to warm weather climates", which I selected. The product was shipped via Fed-X overnight and did arrive the next day at around 3:00PM and my wife was home to receive the parcel from Fed-X. The temperature was well over 100 degees and and when she opened the box, there were no cool packs, dry ice on any means to keep the chocolate protected from the elements. The shipment literally sat in the Fed-X truck for 8+ hours prior to delivery. The chocolate was obviously melted and ruined.

I contacted customer service to complain and request a replacement order, but was advised that "warm climate shipping" meant that they chilled the product prior to shipping. I was told to return the product for full credit and that I should re-order when the weather was cooler?? I then sent an email to further stress my point and received a response from their customer service manager, who stated that they would completely refund my order, but also complained that they were out the cost of the product plus the shipping (I was not reimbursed the shipping costs and also had to pay for the return freight to send their melted chocolate back). Bottom line, I am out $20 plus dollars and have no chocolate. If you live in a local that has temperatures over 80 in the summer, buy your chocolate from someone that knows how to ship chocolate.

"I have purchased some herbal products by online from i-herb.I have seen that they shipped out my products in their website.But there isn't any DHL tracking number.I have send out e-mail about that problem.But they have never replied about it( 1 week later)and ,I haven't received my products.I haven't seen so bad company and customer care until now.I recommend that one should not purchase any product this i-herb company .
