I still haven't gotten an answer from the manufacturer who seems to be avoiding returning my phone calls. I had hoped that iHerb would call the manufacturer to find out what's going on and get recommendations and offer me assistance. iHerb sold and shipped the product to me and will likely sell more of the product to others. It seems a reasonable expectation that they would share in the concern and responsibility and take some action.
I followed-up and requested Robert Rugh's supervisor's or manager's contact information and I'm just getting the same reply where different people are saying the the supervisor is the person that sent that original terse reply. While a message received notice was sent from their system for my latest message, there hasn't been a reply to date.
The seeming good prices on the iHerb.com website are a trade-off in peace-of-mind. Today, when comparing iHerb's prices including their shipping charges, I've figured out that there is very little savings, if any, over other sources that include shipping or ship by less costly means. I'll be purchasing through Amazon again where I began my relationship with iHerb originally.
Because iHerb is no longer an Amazon merchant (for reasons I can speculate on), there is no other recourse now and nowhere I can go with this situation. iHerb's policy is "only un-opened product can be returned" and I opened all three bottles to compare the contents. BUYER BEWARE!

"This is one of the few online retailers that doesn't rip you off on the shipping charges! I've had other stores charge me 7.95 to ship one bottle of vitamins - they don't get my business anymore. I buy all my vitamins and supplements from iherb. I like that I can order one bottle and only pay 2 bucks to ship it. They have an excellent selectiion of products and great prices. They ship quickly too. I don't know how they stay in business with such low prices!"

Each order comes with a random sample or gift which is good not many companies do this. "I have had excellent service from Iherbs- quick delivery, great prices and good discounts on shipping and orders in general when order exceeds certain amounts (quite low amounts actually, eg $50 etc).
However I am writing to especially commend their excellent customer service. I was browsing through previous orders, planning my next order for June or July, when I accidentally went back and forth on the order page - I was trying to see what discount I would get for buying a few of one item - and hit 'purchase', buying 4 packets of an item I did not want at all coming to nearly $80. I immediately emailed customer service explaining my error, once I got the confirmation order, and they replied instantly - accepting my explanation and confirming that the shipping department would be advised and would cancel the order. All this on a Sunday night! True to their word, I received the cancellation confirmation from the shipping dept on Monday morning, and my account is showing already that the order has been voided.
I would like to extend special thanks to Megumi and Robert Rugh who handled my request. In my experience, it is rare to get such excellent service. They could easily have ignored my request and I would have had a massive runaround for days trying to cancel etc.
