"The cust serv/tech support person took much too long (30 min) to confirm the obvious fact that one of the SSD's in the new RAID enclosure was not working, and then he asked if I was comfortable taking it apart to fix it. He eventually agreed to send a new one immediately with a hold on my credit card. I have been an OWC customer for years, and this is the first poor quality control experience I've had. The unit was apparently not assembled properly or tested before it was shipped."

"Selection, service, quality and prices are all top notch. Shipping leaves a bit to be desired. They used to offer USPS Priority Mail, now the least expensive is UPS. But UPS takes it partway then hands off to USMail. ?? - the worst of both.
Generally US Priority or First Class Mail (whatever they call it now) costs no more than UPS Ground and is twice as fast.
Also a question if OTW reads this: I thought USB3 and Thunderbolt were the same thing. But my USB card ready needs a different USB3 port.
