Long wait

"I ordered several items over a week ago. I finally sent a note to customer service. Found out one item was not in stock and it will be four more days to ship. What annoys me is I communication about the delay."

Tools.

"Replacing the battery was easy, but when I found irritating was the fact the included tools were not labeled or marked with their sizes. The tips are very small, so I would insert one screw driver in the tiny screw and feel if it was grabbing. However, even if it does grab the screw head when it feels like a perfect fit, I could strip the screw head. "

Oversold

"I purchased a used MacBook Air and was looking forward to receiving it in a couple of days, as is typical for OWC (we're both in the Chicago area). After days of the order reading "processing", I called and spoke to a rep, who said he'd look in to it and get back to me. Two days later, with no response, I called back. The same rep (who, it must be said, was local, and friendly, and apologized), said that the laptop had been oversold.

So: more up-to-date info on available stock would have been helpful, as would a *quick*, PROactive "sorry, we oversold" . It would have saved me some valuable time.

Fine but ill-fitting product, complicated return experience

"I ordered a Thunderbolt dock. It was priced well, had good features, and seemed to have good build quality. I decided not to keep it, however, and wanted to return it. We've all become spoiled by the Amazon return machine, but even adjusting my expectations, this was very difficult. Trying to return from my account bounced me to what seemed like a totally different site. I had to almost guess at where to go to start a return. When I got there, the website threw an Application Error (it wasn't a browser issue, it was coming from the back end). I tried multiple times over several days, always the same. So then I had to go through their manual support contact system to request an RMA. Finally received it. There was no way that I could tell to generate a shipping label, so I had to make my own label separately. Basically the whole process felt very old-fashioned."

Delayed

"Originally was told 8 business days from purchase date that’s now turning into almost a month. Really unacceptable to have to wait this long with incorrect expectations, and then not be compensated when it’s their fault. I should really just cancel my order because this is just taking too long. "
