"I telephoned OWC twice for information and both times got people more than willing to patiently help someone who was not a technical sort. Answered my questions fully and precisely as well as showing me some things I hadn't thought of. If my drive works well I will be more than happy.

As I type this my new drive is happily chugging away at swallowing about 4+ terabyte's of data from my old computer. We had to do a work around to get things moving however. My tech said he had formatted the drive so it should have had no problem but it did and I watched him try several different ways of getting it to work without success. In the end we ended up moving the data to one of my My Book drives and from their to OWC drive which worked without issue. (just hugely slower) Other than that little hiccup the new drive is working flawlessly and I believe it will serve my needs with no problems. We shall see!"

As per our OWC Refund Policy, a restocking fee is applicable if the unit is returned without any issues.
We understand that troubleshooting can be inconvenient, but it allows us to address any concerns and provide the best possible solution. Our representative was willing to offer a replacement, but unfortunately, this option was declined. Upon receiving the unit back, we conducted thorough testing but were unable to replicate the issue described for the return.

"When ordering, I chose to have package delivered to an Access point to assure I received it in a timely manner. 1st the site claimed if ordered in a certain time frame the package would be shipped that day. It wasn’t shipped for 3 days. Then because OWC didn’t put “Access Point” on the shipping label the UPS location charged me an additional $10 to pick up my package. When I called your customer service, the lady I spoke to basically said “too bad”. This is bad service all the way around. "
