"I thought Mailbox.com would have more choices. When I did find slightly what I wanted, I received a brochure with other options I could have got on my mailbox, like a see through slot so you know if you got mail. It also was not clear if I needed to order a lock since the picture had it. So I ordered it later and it arrived with no screws. I also order engraved letter which look good, but there is no way to change the door if your door message changes. There was also no flap for an exterior mailbox to keep the weather out. The mailbox I bought was also overpriced for what I ended up with. Their website needs a little work so the shopper does not miss these extra items."

"1. 4 unit box stolen off wall in 4plex.
2. Obvisouly tenants without mail. This is serious.
3. We immediately (2 hours later) placed order with notation: Needed ASAP; if printing placards delays order, please cancel placards -- I'll order later.
4. Called two days later to request tracking. Was told order was not being processed yet.
5. Asked for replacement box and deleting placards. Was told it was not possible. The system (and company policy) would further delay the order. Was told "Don't Ask.")
6. Order was shipped many days after promisses on website.
7. Quality of box very poor. Door pins used for hinges were not installed at correctly. Doors fell off box because pins were too short. Our installer had to reinstall pins to make doors work.
8. I hope our boxes are never stolen again. If they are, I will search out alternative suppliers.

"We worked with mailboxes.com to replace a vandalized mailbox. We had to amend our original order because one of the mailboxes advertised on mailboxes.com as “USPS approved”, but it was not approved by our local carrier.
While we were quoted a 2-3 week lead time, the full process from checkout to our order being delivered was closer to 5 weeks. Quality of communication and visibility into our order was very poor throughout the entire process. Freight costs were also an unpleasant surprise and not transparent at time of checkout.
Finally, after talking with nearly 4 different people at mailboxes.com, I was frustrated to learn that there was an additional step to order a main USPS lock from our carrier direct. This too is a lengthy process and prolonged our frustration with delay in our regular mail service.
Our experience with mailboxes.com could’ve been vastly improved by providing up-to-date product and fulfillment information at point of sale, improving the quality of customer service, and providing more transparency and awareness of complete installation that’s in compliance with USPS standards.

"At no point was it indicated that our order was going to be shipped palletized and delivered via an LTL Carrier. We operate out of a business space and are not equipped to accept freight off of a semi-trailer. We have no dock, forklift or pallet jacks.
This order we managed to off load it box by box in 90deg heat. After that I immediately emailed customer service requesting they contact the carrier and have it delivered with a lift gate. I received no response and ultimately ended up refusing the delivery twice and finally on the 3rd day they came with a lift gate. "
