"I have never in my life been so nervous or Pesstimistic about anything ever.! So much pressure with this prom stuff and after ordering my dress I have visited numerous websites with horrible reviews about micwell overall.!! And 5% difference.? I just viewed a picture of the dress I ordered on Facebook that someone purchased and its hideous definitely not my dream dress not to mention with express tailoring and shipping it doesn't look like my dress will be here on time! I'm rethinking this whole prom thing! Will update if I ever receive a dress.."

"I ordered a prom dress for my daughter in February with exact measurements taken by a seamstress. The dress didn't arrive till about a month and a half later IN AN ENVELOPE. It was shipped folded up in a regular shipping envelope.It had be immediately taken to the dry cleaners to be pressed. Once my daughter could actually try the dress on it was too large in the mid section and was very baggy on her size 0 frame. The beading was loose in spots and some actually had to be removed to even make it look decent. He friend that ordered from here also had issues with the way her dress fit and had to find a completely different dress. We will NEVER use this company again nor will we ever send anyone to use this place. If you are planning to use Micwell for your special day-do yourself a favor... DON'T!!"

"Okay I just ordered my Micwell dress today and my prom is on May 30th and the estimated date it will get here is June 1st which is late. I'm freaking out because I'm looking at reviews and I don't like what I see. I've e-mailed them about the express tailoring, so I hope I get something back ASAP. I'm praying for the best here guys.


I have an update!! I ordered express tailoring and I received my dress even before the time on May 22. I gave them my measurements and it fits perfect! I love my dress and I would recommend Michwell, but I would tell them to order their dress in advance and also measure yourself correctly. I will posting my pictures on my dress on the Facebook page soon. :)

"I found micwells by searching on google and I was so excited with the selection of dresses. I found the perfect dress and I ordered it with my custom measurements. I ordered it about a month in advance with paying for expedited shipping and tailoring. My event was on April the 27th and they said it would reach me by April 16th but I still had not gotten it by the 25th. If you order from micwells I would recommend ordering more then a month in advance and I guess paying for the expedited shipping and tailoring didn't help so don't bother. If you stress out easily I would recommend having a back up dress or just don't order from here."

"I am really disappointed with our experience with Micwell. My daughter and I were on pins and needles waiting for her dress to arrive, fortunately it came in on Wednesday just in time for Prom. Unfortunately it there were problems!! The fit would have been perfect except for the following things...

It has an open back that comes to a point at her waist. This is crooked!! And if we try to adjust the dress so it is centered the front becomes crooked. One strap is longer than the other. There was an unfinished seam that looked like a large hole, but when the dress is on I was able to tuck that in, but that pulled the bottom fold up showing another seam and creating an uneven look. There were a few other things that we found wrong with the dress but they were minor enough that she could have worn the dress had the dress not been crooked!!

There was no way my daughter could wear this dress to her prom. There wasn't enough time to take it to get the strap or seams fixed and I really don't believe that there was anything that could have been done for the crooked back. I immediately contacted Micwell through their website, where it says that you will be contacted with in 24 hours. It has been four days and I have not received a response. I did some digging on the website and found an email address that I could contact from my personal email. I used it this morning supplying pictures of the back of my daughter's dress (while on). Let's see if I am contacted. If Micwell contacts me and rectifies the situation I will come back and comment with a better response and better grade, but as of right now I would not recommend them to my worse enemy!

"HORRIBLE. I ordered my dress on March 28th, and needed it by the 25th of April, three days from today. TODAY I received an email, (after paying $180+ for the dress and express tailoring to ensure it would be here on time) That said "Thanks for shopping at micwell.Your dress will be finished,but we find the fabric of hunter is not enough now.So could you change another color of your dress9for example royal blue)?Then we will make a beatiful dress for you.Is that okay?Please email back." It seems this site is either a hit or miss, if you feel lucky then try ordering but it's a risk you're taking at your own expense. "

"I will never order from them again. Ordered a prom dress for my daugher. Went by measurements on the website and by those measurements the dress should have fit perfectly. It did'nt. It was too big and could not be altered because of the beading on the dress. I followed the instructions and have emailed them. They ask for pictures which I have sent and cannot get a response. I had to buy another dress for the prom because it is in less than two weeks. I would NOT recommend them. "

"Not sure what to think. We ordered my dress march 6th. its april 19th. I have yet to recieve it. I emailed Nina and she said there was a quality control issue. My prom is the 21st. So unless someone flies it over the pond and gives it to me after they walk off a plane I dont think I am getting my dress for my prom. And if I dont get the dress, I have to pay for flowers that arent the right color, find a new tie/ vest for my date and get my nails redone. If I had known this was going to be down to the wire I would have just gone to a shop and paid the extra 150$. at least then I would have had it and not get excited anytime the mailman drives by. "

"Bad! Bad! Bad! they stink! the dress took over a month to receive!When it came it looked like it was put together with spit and glue! The bust was way to big! the back zipper wouldn't zip up way too tight! the But area was too big, and it was way too long! The customer service told me I had to take photos' of the dress with a measuring tape. So I did I sent the pictures 3 times. They ignored my emails after that. Tried telling me they didn't receive the pictures. I emailed them 4 times after and told them I was going to give bad review and they still didn't answer me! Stay away! waist of money!!!

"I ordered a dress on March 22, and have emailed the customer service quite a few times. I recieved an email two days ago stating that I would receive my tracking number within 24 hours, and I've yet to see it. I paid for express tailoring and my dress should've been to me by tomorrow. I was guaranteed that I would receive it by April 20, and it is April 19th, and I havent heard a word. Getting pretty nervous. I do know that if this dress doesn't come on time, I will never order again.. If it does, I will. Good prices. hoping the quality is good too.. Hoping to actually hear back from the customer service.. "

"I am very disappointed with this company , We ordered a dress it is the wrong color the flowers do not match. The dress is a foot and half longer than it is suppose to be, the lace were the flowers are hang 6 inches pass the the rest of the dress. some of the flowers are not even sewn on good and pointed to the floor. I have emailed them with NO RESPONSE, the prom is in two weeks and my daughter still does not have a dress due to this one being so badly made. I have ask them to call me, with no response. The number on the website answers and then after a little music hangs up on you. I will be contacting the BBB on this matter, and I am expecting a full refund. We sent in the measurements and the corset you have to tighten it so much that you can not even tell that it is there and the dress is still to BIG fully tied. I am hoping that they will call me soon to give the refund, because I only have a part time job and can not afford to buy another dress this soon without one. ***-***-**** her 1st and last prom is on may 5, 2012, if you work here please contact us. "I ordered from Micwell and my experience was absolutely terrible. My dress came, and it was too big for me, and there was also a tear in the fabric. I had to get it tailored, and Micwell said that if the dress is made wrong they would refund tailoring costs. I contacted "Annie Chung" and she told me to send pictures (really??) of the dress, which I did, along with measurements, and she still said that she couldn't make sure that the dress was made wrong. I paid money for a dress and then had to pay 70.00 in tailoring because of them. Anyways, I will never order there again. I recommend that no one else does, and I will not be recommending Micwell to any of my friends."

"Frustrated, I have been trying to contact Micwell through emailing customer service and calling on the phone. I have sent 3 emails in the past 3 weeks with no responses, and the phone number renders no response either. I ordered my dress on april 3rd and need the dress by May 3rd. My prom is on May 5th. I have heard great things about Micwell in the past, but thus far I am very disappointed with virtually no response from customer service. Does anyone know how I can get help so that I may receive my dress in time.
