I have a very old IPod by today's standards (IPod Photo 60GB bought in 2005), I was sure it was completely done for I fell on it while walking and caused the screen to go bad. The manufacturer wanted $249 to fix it, but obviously it made more sense to buy a new one for that price. But why throw it away if it can be repaired without breaking the bank? I frantically searched the internet for companies that did IPod repair and came across Milliamp immediately. "Milliamp truly, truly stands behind their service- even with an unusual post-repair situation. I originally sent in my iPod nano 4th generation for a battery replacement. When I got it back I noticed that I could not turn the iPod unless I flipped the hold switch on then off again. When I contacted Milliamp about the post-repair issue, it was eventually escalated to the owner of Milliamp. The website even says that issues can be escalated to the owner if needed. Milliamp determined that the problem was the logic board which can cost $80-100. Since the owner said they would stand behind their service, they agreed to cover the cost of building a logic board and the additional shipping involved. Throughout the entire process, they constantly updated me on the status and shipping. They even update you that they receive the device from you - relieving my anxiety of the item not getting there. Anyways, I got the device back and it works great! I was truly surprised and delighted with the follow up and sense of reassurance in this unusual post-repair situation. That really builds trust. I know whom to go to when I need my iPod or IPhone serviced."

"These guys are Great! They give detailed clear instructions, then, they follow up every step of the way. While they had my ipod replacing the battery, they emailed me when it got there, then when they started checking it, then when they fixed it, then when they sent it back. "I was in dire need of help for my iPod 5th Generation Video 30 GB model, a 2006 Apple Product. I had no warranty, and the battery itself wasn't lasting long at all anymore. I did some research online and I found milliamp.com (also known as ipodjuice.com), a company from Texas that had rave reviews and the credentials to back it up. They offered a diagnostics test to find out what was wrong with my iPod, and I took it. My concerns were validated when I found out my iPod was in need of a new Hard Drive and the better, longer lasting battery that milliamp.com solely offered. The cost would be around $150, but after speaking to Anthony, the owner of milliamp.com, I was surprised to have him offer me a great deal for $50 less and faster shipping. He also allowed me to take a while to consider the offer, and the deal was not taken off the table. "My 5th generation iPod earplug jack receptor stopped working. I tried to open the iPod and ended up damaging the LCD and the face....big mistake. I didn't want to get another iPod because it would not fit in the adaptor that I bought for my Onkyo receiver. I sent the iPod to Milliamp and it was back in ten days just like new. Just wanted to let you know that I received the battery installation kit, and battery, for my 5th generation iPOD in VERY short order. Took about two days for delivery, EVEN with the holiday mail slowdown.
Installation instructions were very concise, and easy to understand and apply.
Getting the case open was a pain, but that was a given considering iPOD doesn't want the "average Joe" to be able to change the battery.
Replaced the battery and had the case back together in about 20 minutes.
The charge indicator showed that the battery was about 3/4 charged but, according to directions I plugged it into a wall charger anyway.
In about 20 minutes is showed on the screen that the battery was fully charged.
I took it off the charger, plugged in my headset, and started listening to music.
Previously, with the original battery, I could listen to about 4 hours of music before the unit would power off due to low battery charge.
I have charged the unit only the initial charge and listened to music about 4 hours the first day. About the same the next day, and another 6 hours or so yesterday.
The battery charge indicator shows that I still have about 1/4 charge on the battery.
On the original battery if I were to charge it today, leave it sit without using it at all tomorrow, the next day the battery would have drained completely down.
I am a VERY happy customer and will recommend your website, and products to anyone that asks.

"This is an update to my original review. I had an iPhone repair done through restoredoctors.com (now milliamp.com) in November 2009. The service was fast. They diagnosed my problem, replaced the LCD screen and shipped the unit back to me quickly.
I had one minor issue with the repair, but can now say they have great customer service as well. The company owner contacted me directly to offer assistance and make sure the issue was fully resolved.
I will definitely use them again for any future service and recommend them highly to friends/family.

"All I can say is Wow! Ordered a battery for my 5th Gen iPod (and also a special tool for opening the case) The battery was delivered within 2 weeks (not: I live in Central Europe).
What really impressed me was the supplied tool and the outstanding instruction bundled with the package. 2 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions and on the top of that each step was illustrated by a photo. The manual was so detailed even the smalest gotchas were covered.
