"Let's start with this: the service is unbelievable. I sent in my iPod via Priority Mail and even during the 2010 holiday/new year season, I had it back within seven business days. Communication was excellent. I placed the order on 12/27/10 and it was shipped back on 12/30/10, in my hands on 1/03/11. What’s more, the company kept me updated with emails every step of the way. When I placed the order for the higher end battery hoping for a longer charge, I inadvertently selected the wrong shipping method. I was also interested in the possibility of buying a replacement chassis and finding out whether the company would – while the unit was opened anyway – install a new hard drive if I sent it in. While the answers to both questions were no – the company did not have a replacement chassis for my iPod Mini and would not swap out my hard drive (a service I wish they would consider in the future), customer service did solve my shipping problem – refunding the extra money so I could take advantage of a free shipping promotion.
How thorough was the email communication? I count 17 emails from the time I placed the order to a follow-up after I received my iPod checking on how it worked. I knew exactly where my iPod was in the battery replacement process, how it was tested, what work was done, and when it was shipped back. The company also replaced the end caps free of charge. Fantastic.
After using the iPod for a few weeks – I listen to podcasts and audiobooks several hours a day during walks, exercise, taking the dog out, etc. -- I’ve noticed the battery charges up MUCH faster than my previous replacement battery purchased before I discovered Milliamp LTD. That battery, by the way, lasted exactly year from the date it was installed until it stopped holding a charge. With the new replacement battery my iPod Mini gets about four hours of power, which in all honestly, I was hoping for more. Still, it’s much better than what I had before.
In addition to a more powerful battery, I feel very protected with the company's lifetime warranty and feel the extra price is worth my peace of mind. Also the lightning fast recharge more than makes up for the extra hour or two I was hoping to squeeze out of the replacement battery. As much as I can after two weeks of use, I highly recommend the battery and your service. I would absolutely buy this again."

"In May 2007, I purchased an 80GB Apple Video iPod Classic from B & H Photo in New York. A year later, this iPod would not hold a charge. Since it was no longer covered under warranty, I purchased a replacement battery – thinking that this would be my first step to fix the problem. Even with the new battery, the iPod would not hold a charge. Therefore, I assumed there was a more serious problem at hand, but did not know where to send my iPod for repair. So, I simply purchased a new video iPod from Apple. I was surfing the internet one day and came upon Milliamp’s website and realized that this company may be able to fix the problem with my iPod. I sent it to them and from that day forward, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of their service. They sent me a notification via e-mail when they received my iPod and they sent me several update notifications as my iPod passed through their analysis, repair, and testing process. These updates were very detailed and informative. Their analysis determined that there was a problem with the replacement battery that I had installed. It was a 3rd party battery and was no good. They even recommended that I return the battery to the supplier and seek a full refund. Milliamp replaced the battery at a reasonable cost to me and then tested my iPod for a day or so to make sure that the iPod was working like new. Then they professionally packaged my iPod so it would not get damaged in the mail and expeditiously returned it to me. Milliamp also did a follow-up with me to make sure that everything was alright and that I was totally satisfied with their service. In this day in age, it is difficult to find a company who truly cares about its customers and the quality of their work. Milliamp is clearly #1 in my mind and I will, without hesitation, use them again in the future, as my company of choice, for all of my iPod and iPhone repairs. "A few months ago my fourteen year old granddaughter took over my 16GB 2nd Gen. iPod Touch. When I did get it back it was a total mess. Primarily the outside glass was cracked so bad it looked like a road map across Iowa and I only had sound out of one earbud. I really thought it was doomed.
I had an extended warranty and they would not even touch it because they felt it was abused. After about a month of arguing with them I turned to the internet repair services. Thankfully the very first inquiry I made was to Milliamp.com. The website was outstanding! Extremely easy to navigate, straight forward, and I was really impressed by the video of how the repair facility worked. Another plus was the fact they were in San Antonio TX. "My experience with this repair facility has been an odyssey of sorts. It initially began with a failed battery on my iPod Silver 4G. I'm retired and take my device on my morning walks so I found this facility online, ordered a battery and elected to install it myself by following their video instructions of 'How To". It was a bit more difficult than it looked but I got it installed. A few short months later the back light began to fade so I sent the device to their repair facility. The customer service is amazing in that they communicate each and every step in the process, I like that. During the repair process they were backing up my music and the hard drive failed! What did they do? I received an email notifying me of the crashed hard drive and they installed a new 5G hard drive at no additional cost. Problem solved right? Not quite, next the logic board failed during testing by their technicians. Again, another notification from milliamp but this time from the owner, Anthony B., apologizing for these unusual back to back to issues. Anthony had his technicians install another logic board and again, because of their dedication to customer satisfaction, did not charge for this additional repair. Following this, the device was tested and passed virtually every phase to be certain the device was approved for outbound shipment. I just want to say that if you own any of these delicate devices and they fail milliamp LTD is the resource of choice. Their customer service is amazing and rare in the America we live in today. If you have one of these devices it will, at some point, fail at some level. I highly recommend this company and would never even consider dealing with Apple. "I needed to find someone to replace the audio jack in my iPod and discovered this company. I called before purchasing a replacement part to ask some questions. The girl who answered the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions. I received updated emails on the process of my iPod. They told me they replaced the audio jack and informed me they replaced the faceplate and the center wheel at no extra charge.
Since I got the iPod back, the audio sounds wonderful and am very happy with choosing this company. Thank you, guys."
"During the summer, I dropped my iPad onto a rocky surface, shattering the glass panel. I took it to Apple and they said sorry but we can't help. So I googled "iPad repair" and Milliamp came up. I sent the device to them and they replaced the glass and digitizer sent it back. I tried it for a couple of days and it seemed to work fine until some erratic and intermittent behavior started to plague the iPad. Milliamp said to send it back so they can take another look at it. It came back and believe it or not, it was still acting strange, even though it was extremely difficult to repeat the problem with any consistency (which is a problem of the worst kind). Everything Milliamp did was correct and by the book and yet it was one of those devices from hell that just wouldn't work out right. Believe it or not, Milliamp worked on it a total of 4 separate times, AT NO CHARGE, trying to get to the bottom of this seemingly bottomless problem. Finally, Aha! They nailed it and now it works like a charm. I should also say, this was the first iPad that the local Apple store had seen broken so there wasn't any kind of history of repairs that anyone could refer to. Milliamp had to figure it out completely on their own. And after four tries, they found this particular and seemingly intractable problem. Another repair service would've thrown up their hands and say, to hell with it. No so with Milliamp. They stuck with it with amazing tenacity. I'm so happy that I found these guys.
The point I want to make is this: Milliamp is simply the best experience I've ever had with a repair service company for anything. Ever! And I'm not a young kid.

"Can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I got to know you. Here's my story. When my ipod nano stopped working after 2 years, I was very upset since I paid about $150.00 for it. I then went to the Apple store in King of Prussia, PA to get a new battery. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, you won't believe what they told me after looking at my ipod for a minute or two. "It will cost you $99.00 to replace the battery." I was appalled and let them know what I thought about Apple, etc. Then I met up with one of my geeky (that's good) nephews and repeated my adamant feelings. He whipped out his fancy phone with all the gadgets, i.e. apps, etc. and searched the internet as he verbally told me I should be able to replace the battery for $20.00. Of course I didn't believe him, but he wrote the name and website address on a piece of paper. When I got home and looked it up, I was thrilled, but still unbelieving. Well, today I rec'd my ipod back in perfect restored condition and I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am. Now, I must tell you this. I have a Very big mouth (about good things only). I also work at THE largest retail store in America. I went to the Electronics Department and started to tell all the employees about Milliamp's fabulous services. I even printed out the memos you sent to me to keep me in the loop as to the progress of my iPod nano, 3rd generation. I am hoping that whenever a person comes in to ask for a new battery for their machine, they will (unofficially, of course) advise customers where one could go to get excellent results.
