"Placed ORDER # 13388803 for HDMI cables (PID# 6917 - 6ft 30AWG High Speed HDMI® Cable - Black) and added other cables to spread the cost of shipping charges. Nothing happens for two weeks. No updates on shipping etc. Then I get an email saying that the HDMI cables that I really wanted are not available. How was I able to order them? That product was removed from the order and the other miscellaneous cables were being shipped! Called customer service and spoke to a very indifferent representative. She said I will need to place a new order for the HDMI cables that I needed in the first place with..you guessed it...additional shipping charges. She was not able to answer on how the website is taking orders when product is not available.

Not sure if a few cents savings in worth all the hassle dealing with Monoprice. "

"Ordered on the 29th of November, they processed it immediately.. I chose DHL for Shipping as it is 1-2 days and not difficult to get the package when they can't get singature (seldom home to sign for it). 10 days later the package hasn't arrived and I check status. It seems they sent the info to DHL for the package but never gave them the package to deliver.. I contact monoprice and after being hung up on 5 or 6 times I try the online chat option. I get someone after the 3rd attempt and they confirmed that it was not sent. They offer to 'resend' the package at 'no cost to me' (this is funny since re-sending something requires it to be sent in the first place).. They send it UPS and I have to go through hurdles to pick up the package at an extremely busy depot. Not impressed since I paid 40 bucks USD for shipping which is a rip ."

"I ordered HDMI cables and a lightning cable on November 30 and when my package arrived on December 8, I was very surprised to find an invoice in an empty envelope. I immediately called and was told my package would be resent with 2nd day UPS shipping...it is now December 12 and no package or information on the website regarding my replacement order. Of course they are closed on Saturday so no help there. I will see if it comes on Monday the 14th, if not, I will be disputing the charge. Good luck with your dealings with this company."

"I'm not quite sure where to begin with the horrible experience I've had with monoprice. Firstly, I ordered a home theater system 8 days ago that was to ship next day, 4 days later I never received the item. I called them and the best answer they had was the shipping company, whom they selected and advertised, was not very reliable. I called the shipping company who assured me that it was actually monoprice who never had the package ready for pick up. I again called monoprice who then finally realized their mistake and told me they'd ship me a replacement order next day air. I didn't receive the shipping confirmation that day so I called back the next day when I still had no package for someone to tell me that the original package was on its way, more faulty information. I finally received a package from monoprice 3 days later, now 8 days after the fact, and it is the wrong item. I ordered a home theater system and was shipped a 3d printer. When I called to sort out this issue I had to deal with another 15-20 min wait and another rude customer service representative, who mafeel no effort to really correct any of the wrongs. Furthermore, during my time reviewing them I realized the item I ordered came with the bare bones essential and requires almost 30p dollars extra equipment to actually work that they did not explain when advertising. The best part, I only ordered in the first place because they stated they scored a 9/10 review from this very website, which I found to be untrue when I came to write my review they actually scored closer to a 5. I suppose that explains my dilemmas a bit better. My recommendation, skip the hastel and chose a different comapny."
