"Had a problem with the unit I purchased. I realize the warranty period is over but when I try to use the online review system, the review is not published on the web site. I think it's important that, if people are going to trust a vendor and the reviews online, all reviews get published, not just those the vendor chooses.

Unfortunately I assumed the issue was with my monitor, but after reading these reviews, I see I am not alone.
For most of the time I have owned it, whenever the monitor turns on, from sleep, it turns to snow on the image. The solution is usually to unplug the USB power, and plug it back it, to power cycle it. Sometimes I have to unplug the cable itself from my computer.
Here's a tip: pay the extra money and buy a monitor with a display port input, or buy a better adapter like the Apple one?"

"Placed an order at 2:41am Dec 6th for 2 pr of RCA unbalanced to Neutrik combo balanced connection. These were for a pair of Studio monitor speakers I was looking to purchase. On Sunday Dec. 7th I change my direction and decided not to purchase those speakers and no longer needed the speaker cables form Monoprice. Payment was received but order had not been packaged yet. Spoke to Aubrey on Live Chat and she was able to work with the shipper to have the order shipped to them, they would RMA return the order, and all was taken care of. I will receive my full order price for the merchandise. It did not make sense to ship and I immediately return the order. So Aubrey took care of the issue in a logical manner. "I recommend this site to just about everyone I know. I'm a very budget conscious fellow and I am usually quite pleased with the product line from Monoprice - the price is right. I've gotten quite a few products from them and almost never have a problem. I purchased a set of headphones last week and it turns out they are defective. I noted that in my review and within a few minutes, Gabby (their rep) apologized for the defect and offered to submit an RMA request on my behalf. Even if the products aren't always defect-free, the company stands behind what they sell and always tries to make things right. Customer service is the number one thing I look for in a business, so it's what keeps me coming back. "
"Monoprice had an item go out of stock quickly on Black Friday (expected). The item was also part of their Cyber Monday (Week) deals, but it wasn't expected to return to stock until after the sale ended. I contacted them to request a rain check, not expecting to actually get one since these deals are usually "while supplies last". They happily issued a rain check, and I purchased the item at the sales price when it was back in stock. A+"
"Having made numerous purchases and a big fan of their product line I am disgusted with the packaging. Almost EVERY order arrives in substandard packaging. It's to the point I am beginning to have second thoughts and shop elsewhere.
On average at least on item is missing and package contents have opened.
FOR EXAMPLE: My most recent order was missing two items and the two different sized zip tie holders were both open and scattered throughout the box. Yea, that was fun rummaging through the order and having to separate the 25mm and 20mm anchors. Who knows how many I lost due to the poor taping job. It was so bad a bag of zip ties were hanging partially out the box.
Anyway, I took photos of everything and realized when I was uploading them I had a folder on my NAS for Monoprice shipping issues. So frustrated I didn't even file a complaint because it's a waste of my time and there are other vendors equally as good out there.
MONOPRICE, get your act together or this customer is leaving for good.

"Monoprice shipped me an item which was missing the hardware. At first, they wanted me to send the unit back to them and they would replace all. "No! I just want the screws ( not carried at major hardware store) and I won't pay for return shipping. MP said, "We'll send out a new unit and you can keep the other one too, as it costs us more to return ship than it is worth". I was very impressed and satisfied!"

"Dang, I ordered a 1440p monitor on Cyber Monday that was *nearly* perfect, but then a 4k one that WAS perfect went on sale. I was able to get and RMA issued and package refusal instruction given over their Live Chat- SO FAST, and really easy. I can't wait to try the monitor out, I'm so dang excited, and the reviews are awesome, as well. :)
I see this little checkbox asking whether monoprice asked my to write this review, and I wanted to add that, heck no, I asked the customer service agent for a link to write it, because I was so impressed (I do reckon based on my customer service interactions that sort of beat her to it :) ). Also, monoprice folks, you have my permission to leave off this current paragraph, because it's kind of unrelated, I just- I also appreciate you having that little box- I interpret its presence as a potential ethics thing, and I like it. :)
I've bought a few different cables and accessories from monoprice now- I persistently have trouble finding reasons to shop anywhere else, and experience makes me think I'm going to feel similarly about this monitor. :)"
