"I ordered a 27" LCD with guaranteed no dead pixels and no backlight bleed. When I received the monitor, while there were no dead pixels there was horrible backlight bleeding. It shipped with a defective dual-link DVI cable too. I requested a RMA. Unfortunately I wasn't given an option to cross-ship a replacement. While the return unit is in transit, there's a price drop so I contact customer service asking for a price adjustment. It's refused. UPS shows the return unit as being delivered and signed for. I reply asking if it can be changed to a return and rebuy then. After a couple of days, I get a reply saying yes but it's now out of stock. Two business days later, my RMA status still shows as "Item(s) Not Received Yet".
Nearly a month later, I have no monitor, the item is out stock with no ETA, and all I've received for my time and hundreds of dollars has been poor customer service. I've loved Monoprice for small simple purchases. They've delivered fantastic value and quick service in the past. But I don't know if I'll ever buy from or recommend them to anyone else again for anything costing more than $20."

"I originally purchased a set of great sounding headphones from Monoprice.com. After a few months something fell apart inside the earphome cup rendering the unit unusable. I posted a review stating that I was not satisfied and was contacted by Gabby, a customer rep from Monoprice, stating they would issue a store credit. This was not something I was expecting. Gabby handled the entire transaction in a polite and professional manner and I had a new set of headphones within a week!

"I ordered Premium Speakers from Mono during the current Black Friday sale. The sale's price was incredibly low, so I was anxious to place my order. The payment was accepted, my card was charged, and the order was listed as "in process." After 24 hours, I contacted Mono through live chat for a status update. The rep checked the order, and after a 10 minute delay, the rep told me they just cancelled the order and would refund my account. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the item at the listed sale's price. I was told that was a "typo" and they would not honor my transaction (even though my card was already charged), nor was the rep willing to do ANYTHING further for me. I understand mistakes happen, but at least try to make it right somehow - that's what good companies do, right? In fact, I was encouraged to go ahead and complain if I wanted. Lesson learned! If the prices listed on Mono seem too good to be true, they are! Buyer beware at Mono - at least with respect to sale prices. "

I had an HDMI cable that I purchased over 2 years ago at MONOPRICE. The cable recently failed and I was going to order a new one. I thought I would share my experience with others and wrote a review. I did not write a complaint and I was not asking for a replacement. After all the cable was inexpensive and lasted over 2 years. The next day Gabby at Monoprice contacted me, apologized for the problems and offered to send me a replacement at no cost. Customer focused service like this is rare. This is one of the reasons I recommend Monoprice to all my friends. "
