"The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because there is no option to leave zero stars. Hermes delivery drivers are inconsiderate idiots. TWICE this week they have pressed the intercom buzzer for my flat, left the parcel on the floor OUTSIDE and driven away in their van before I have had a chance to answer. It would have been very easy for someone to steal my packages if I hadn't been home. They should wait and find out if someone is going to answer the intercom before running away and leaving packages out for anybody walking past to take! In addition to this, today the driver didn't even bother to press the buzzer before ditching the package and leaving. This is completely unacceptable behaviour for a delivery company. Hermes cannot be trusted to deliver packages safely."
"Hermes stole my package at one of their depots, no customer service to sort the problem. Just pay extra for a proper courier service and do your research. I always email ahead when ordering online now to make sure Hermes isn’t involved in the process. I’ve cancelled a few ordered now when I found out Hermes would be the courier. I suggest you do the same if you want to see the package."
"Sick to death of Hermes. This is the first time anything has been delivered to me by them and I already hate them. Package was supposed to arrive on Friday but still not here. Some BS about them trying to deliver at 12:30AM (!?) on Saturday and now again this morning (heard nothing, was left no note, easily could have been popped through the letter box). "I ordered poster frame on Amazon, which meant to be delivered by Hermes. The first time it came, the glass was cracked, therefore I requested a replacement and returned it. Few days later, the replacement frame came, with all the glass totally smashed in pieces.
Avoid Hermes by any cost if you want your parcel to be handled well."
"Hermes lost my Amazon package and there is no way to make them respond to me about it. I got an email saying the package had been delivered when it had not. Their website is terrible, whichever option I tried to complain the system just said the package has been delivered when it has NOT. Then I chatted with the bot and finally got an email from a person to whom I replied already a few times and in a month have not heard back. "
"I would like to give 0 stars but that's not an option. Hermes left my postal tube containing a poster on a bin down the main road of my customers address. It was there for 2 days in the rain before the nice Royal Mail postman told my customer about it. Customer then went to retrieve it and of course it was ruined. They didn't say sorry and now say I can't claim the compensation becaus eposters are on the prohibited list? Beware as when you download the prohibited list EVERYTHING is on the prohibited list. Thus preventing them from ever honouring a claim.
Worst company ever, thieves! They also have lost another of my [packages and have claimed the same. It's best just to use Royal mail and isnt even much more expsnsive. AVOID HERMES AT ALL COSTS

"Encountered this crew 5 times in a fortnight - only once did the delivery run smoothly. Parcels not delivered; left outside instead of in the porch; claimed to have been delivered, but not; difficulty accessing property - which was on the main road with 28ft gates! Their website is unhelpful and clearly designed to prevent any comment or complaint. This crew deliver from the back of a Vauxhall Astra - proper couriers they are not. AVOID - they are cheap for a reason!"

"Hermes damaged a parcel and we can't contact them for the insurance:
I sold an item to a customer using the app DEPOP, who booked the Hermes delivery themselves. The item got collected from my address and never got to the buyer. We checked the tracking service and it said that on April 24th the parcel got damaged and wasn't delivered. Today is may 24th and we still have not been contacted. It's been a month since the damage. No one has said a word and there's no way to fill out s complaint and get the money back. There's no way to directly speak to an agent and make a complain, as Hermes/Depop should refund the buyer for the damage."

Lost (probably stolen) another one of my parcels, it was being tracked in their system 'we have your parcel' and stayed on this for weeks. The website stated due to COVID-19 there may be delays so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After a time it then disappeared from their tracking system. I was told I couldn't claim because I had left it to long to report, i regretted giving them benefit of doubt that the virus had delayed the parcel and was contradictory to their T&C. They also said I could not claim anyway because it was electronic, 'tablet' i noticed was not on the exempt list. the first parcel they lost of mine was a mobile phone which I would class as 'electronic' and after months of going through Hermes claim process, I did get a refund. The live chat and website/customer phone service does not allow you to speak to a real human if you have problems. Just do not use go with another courier or RM and pay the little extra. "
"Before using Hermes, please check their website, mobile app, contact number. You will see that there is no way to speak to a person by any means (no email contact either is available).
I have lost 2 parcels with them and there is just no way to find how to contact them."

"I received an email from Hermes on 7th May saying that my parcel is with them and will be delivered the next day.
Next day I received another email in the morning saying that they will deliver between 9 am to 1 pm. I didn’t receive anything till 1 so I tracked my parcel using their tracking system. The tracking system says that the parcel has already been delivered and signed for which is a big lie.
I tried to contact them but there is absolutely no way to do that.
I contacted my retailer only to be asked to check everywhere around my house which I had already done thousand times before.
the next day, again Hermes sent me another email saying that they have got the parcel and will be delivered soon. Today is the 4th day of receiving that email and I have no idea where my parcel is.
