"Dealing with their customer service is like being stuck in theater of the absurd. I ordered a pair of "designer sunglasses" which were eligible for free shipping. I opted for three day air at a cost of $15. The glasses did not ship within the 72 hours, which my order confirmation pledged. They shipped a full week later and went UPS Ground. I requested a shipping refund. Customer "Service" stated that they do not offer free shipping (look at their website--they do offer it on designer eyeglasses and designer sunglasses, which I ordered), it did ship three day air (I have the tracking info and written confirmation from UPS that they did not go three day--they went ground), and because I have been such a pest--their words were more offensive), they will not offer a refund. Unbelievable that a company would risk bad press over $15. Also unbelievable that I let them get to me. Just take my advice and choose another company--this one is not worth the effort. And if you do opt to deal with them, run when Becky or Ariel are on deck to "help" you!"
"I am glad to find a place that does eyeglass repairs and the glasses don't have to have been purchased from that store. Opticsfast gave me instructions on how to send my glasses. They gave me an estimate on how much it would cost, repaired them, and now the glasses are on their way back to me. Other places would not even touch my glasses without my eyecare insurance. Also, I would have to pay as much as I bought them for to get repaired. Thank you, Opticsfast "

Each time I called I was greeted by someone within minutes. I even called at 9:30 PM on a Saturday and got a live person to speak with...incredible! "Absolutely the worst. Unless you consider "fast" 6 weeks +.. Also, the repair job was terrible. I had two arms replaced on a pair of Chanel frames. When the estimate came through about the repair they asked if I wanted new reading lenses put in. I chose the lenses and paid for the amount and was told they would be mailed out quickly. When I finally received them the two arms were attached differently and were "floppy" - cheap workmanship, AND there were NO lenses that I had paid for, and they charged me $30 shipping. The online chat person Arial was unhelpful and would not let me speak with a manager. A wholly AWFUL experience after waiting almost 7 weeks. I called AMEX and disputed the charge and they found in my favor, refunding the full amount. So, BUYER BEWARE. Go elsewhere."

"To anyone considering purchasing glasses from this company. BEWARE. Their prices seem good on line, but you have to factor in their complete lack of customer service. Here are the facts from my order:
Prior to my order I had an online chat with one of their representatives to verify delivery date of my glasses since I had broken my only pair. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I would have them delivered in 4 days if I paid for overnight shipping (which I did).
Three days later, I initiated another chat to check the status of my order. During this chat I was called a "monster" and told that I "disgust" the representative because I expressed that I was upset when I was told that the original rep that gave the four day estimate was incorrect and my contact unfortunately coincided with the hurricane in New York (keep in mind, I had no idea they were located in New York).
After further conversation with another, more level headed representative, I was given a guaranteed delivery date of two weeks after my original date which I politely accepted because of the shipping delays caused by the hurricane.
That ship date was missed by a full seven days.
When I received my glasses, they were cracked. I communicated this to the "level headed" representative who suggested I send them back to get the lens replaced. When I explained that I could not spend another 2 weeks without my glasses while they fixed them they said "Go have them looked at I we will reimburse you". I took them to my local optical store who is replacing the lens. When I submitted this bill to Opticsfast, they did not respond to my multiple emails. I finally called and they said that I got "screwed" on the price of the replacement lens and that they would only credit me 1/4 of the price it cost me to get the glasses fixed.
All in all, these glasses cost me more than if I had purchased them from a local store and they took probably four times as long to receive.
Whatever you do, do NOT use this company. They should be ashamed of how they treat people and businesses like this should not be allowed to stay in business. I own a small business and I understand that mistakes happen. We make them too. But, repeated mistakes without a semblance of responsibility or politeness should not be tolerated."
"I needed a small repair on my sunglasses. I was unable to get to a local sunglasses shop for a referral so I started looking online. The top hit was OpticsFast so I went with it and I am glad I did! They were very prompt and in constant communication with me as my order was received, quoted, and then shipped back to me. I am very happy with the service. AND... this all happened in the middle of hurricane Sandy and Thanksgiving, and still they were in touch. Great company. I'll send all future repairs to them!"
"Positively the worst EVER...Sent in two pair of glasses on 10/4 and it is now 11/28 and I don't have either of them back. I've begged and pleaded to get them returned, because it has been sooooooo long. The last thing I heard on 11/16 from Becky was they were sending them back. Still not here two weeks later. Not to mention it has been 2 months since they received them. Danielle was my first contact...pitiful. If you could all see the chain of emails from these girls and this company, you'd be very entertained, but you'd never send them ANYTHING. If anyone finds a box from Optifast (a huge error in names too) with two pair of designer frames, they are probably mine! Opticslower than molasses probably mis directed them. Bless their hearts.
Stay away...Very far away from this place. It's just sad. By the way, I bought a whole new pair, had them made and have been wearing them since the 12th--all on line---and these folks cannot even manage to return my frames. AMAZING. Just amazing.

"I sent them my Gucci sunglasses for complete cleanup/overhaul/repair. They returned them to me missing the nose piece and the frames were not even worked on, still dirty and original nuts and screws. OpticsFast not only did shoddy work, but lost the nose piece and then claimed that the nose piece was attached when it left their facility. This company is fraudulent."
