"i was taking my family on vacation and i wanted to upgrade from my point and shoot camera so i was looking online for a digital slr camera online for the most affordable price so i stumbled across the overstockdigital.com website.

Not knowing much about overstockdigital i took a huge leap of faith by ordering with this company because i needed the camera in time for my family vacation

So i called in and told them which camera i was looking for and that i needed it by certain date the customer service agent ensured me that it would not be an issue.

At that point i gave them all of my information and had the order set up and everything was on the up and up.

Later that evening i went online to see if there was anything else i would need for my vacation and had seen that i needed lenses to operate the camera unfortunately i didn't not read up to much on that and now i had a huge problem as i would not have the proper tools to work the new slr camera i had just purchased.

After a sleepless night of worrying and checking for which lens would be best for my purposes i called overstockdigital first thing the next morning explained i got a very nice customer service agent on the phone and had explained to them the mistake i made of not ordering a lens for my camera.

The customer service agent told me that my order had shipped the day before and that i would have to place a new order the only problem was that at this point i would have to go with an overnight delivery to get the lens on time.

Now i know it was not their fault that i did not do my research but being the person that iam i of course asked if i could get a discount on the overnight shipping.

The customer service agent told me that he would no problem asking one of his managers if he could get any type of discount for me but that he would need to put me on hold or that he would be able to call me back once he get an answer. I of course told him that i would wait on hold as i could not risk him not getting back to me.

After about a 2 minute hold the customer service person came back on the phone and told me that he would be able to completely remove the charge of overnight shipping because i was a repeat shopper, i definitely was not expecting him to say that he would wipe it completely so i expressed my gratitude to them.

The agent also asked me if there was anything else i needed for my vacation, i told him that i think i was good with everything i had purchased but if there was something that he would recommend which he did but i had already purchased those items.

Everything arrived on time just like they promised.

Overall i have to say that i never dealt with a company that went above and beyond like the way overstockdigital.com did for me.

"Ordered a Nikon D700. The next day I had to deal with multiple hard upsells on the phone from an unknown number (I should know better than to answer). I told the guy that I frankly do not buy ANYTHING over the phone. That wasn't the worst part now that I'm thinking about it. He said my camera was "grey market" and "not from the U.S." and wouldn't have the Nikon manufacturer's warranty. Wait what? Where on the listing for this product did it say any of that? While on the trip the battery charger failed, luckily I purchased the largest capacity battery! Cheap prices on their website to lure unsuspecting consumers.
Sends an email for confirmation of order, you must call, and sit on hold for 15 minutes. Then they proceed to tell you American Express terminal is down and they need another form of payment. After taking a second form of payment, they promise expedited shipping for the hassle and ask if any accessories are needed for the order. Ten days later, after no product arrived, I called to learn the status of the order. It had not shipped because they could still not process the payment. It is nothing but game after game with overstockdigital.com Protect yourself and deal with anyone else besides this group of people even if that requires paying an additional 5-10% Furthermore, I also question the legitimacy of all the five star reviews on this site. Searching reviews outside this site will yield more accurate results."
