"Total Rip Off!
I ordered a Canon Lens and they e-mailed me to call them to confirm the order, whcih was odd. They claimed the low price lens I bought was a 'plastic' lens, not glass. Canon does not make a plastic lens so they were lying and trying to get us to buy something more expensive. I immediately cancelled the order and looked on review sites to see if they were legit. As you cans see by all the negative reviews, this place is a rip off!

"I felt very secure and excited about my purchase for overstackdigital.com. The sales rep made sure I had the very best equipment for a very great price and was able to answer all my questions and make me feel good about my selection. I normally shop at physical electronics store, but their sales reps simply aren't knowledgable enough to help out the professional photography and their selection is very limited. I was pleased when the person on the other side of the line at overstock digital.com knew exactly about all of the equipment I was talking about and was able to make recommendations to me.

When I received my package, one of the accessories didn't work the way I had hoped. I called back to complain and was almost ready to never shop here again. I was put back on the line with the exact person that sold it to me and he remembered my order! He solved my issue in less than a minute and now I will be a customer for life.

When companies are committed to me, I am committed to them. I am very pleased with my new camera equipment. Thank you overstock digital.com.

"Scam site - buyer beware! I was looking for D700 cameras that are scarce since they are no longer in production. This overstockdigital website advertised them so I placed an order. I then followed up via phone and got the same spiel as I later read in other reviews - needed my credit card security code and then some obnoxious dude tried to "upsell" me on an inferior D7000. After several phone calls, I determined they are pushing grey market items and don't have any legit D700. Finally got my order cancelled - what a fiasco!"

"I've been thinking long and hard about what type of review to give overstockdigital.comThe reason why for this is because I had one of the most fabulous experiences I've ever had with an online company.
Above and beyond phenomenal pricing the customer service there is extremely friendly.
I placed an order for an SLR package On the overstockdigital website I called them up short after because I needed this product by certain date The representative I had spoken to guided me to the correct shipping method so that I have the package by the date that I needed The representative then recommended different things in different accessories for my package but I told him I was all set but i did buy The extended warranty as I insure all of my gear.
After I placed the order seeing that I got such a great price I figured I better research the company and see if this was something that was real. After reading some of the negative feedback that was listed about overstockdigital I got a bit nervous So I called back and I asked to speak to one of the superiors.
The supervisor I spoke into his name was Derek he was extremely kind and reassured me that I would get all my merchandise that I ordered and I would get My package in the timeframe that I needed it I felt a lot better after speaking with Derek as he did take 30 minutes of his time, provided a tracking number, And did give me his personal contact information in case anything did go wrong.
The package I had ordered had come on time Like they had guaranteed but unfortunately I missed my UPS delivery Because I had to run out to the store (just my luck) I called UPS and asked if they can leave it at their store so that I can come and pick it up But there TellMe that the only one that can arrange this was the shipper. So I called Derek but he was gone for the day so they put me in touch with Marlene.
Marlene was very kind and told me that she can call UPS and arrange that I can pick it up and that she would call me back or that she could put me on hold And have it taken care of. I explained to her that I really needed my package that day and that I would be willing to wait on hold for her She came back to the line fairly quickly and told me that everything was all set up with UPS and that all I needed to do was to go with a valid ID and pick up my package.
I went to UPS and picked up my package when I got home everything that they had told me was in the box and was correct Not only did I save money but I also had the package on time.
I'd like to thank everyone that I've dealt with at overstockdigital.com for really making this experience a great one

"I was in the market for a Sony camcorder so i did a web search and came
across overstockdigitals website they had a cheap price on the model i was
looking so I placed the order online.

When I got my order i saw that the price of the camcorder that i had just
ordered was 15 dollars cheaper so i called them and asked if they would
honor the discounted rate which they did, and the credit was posted to my
credit card a couple of days later.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are not trustworthy. I ordered a lens two days ago from Overstockdigital.com and got a call today to "confirm my order." The salesman (Ralph) asked for the security code on the back of my credit card, asked to confirm my address and purchase. And then he started asking me all sorts of questions ... what type of photography do I do, what camera did I have, etc. I did not want to give him this info. He then proceeded to try and convince me to buy a different lens instead of the one that I had ordered -- Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens for $819. "Do you know that the USA model that you ordered is plastic mounted?" We can sell you a metal mounted one for $1099." Are you serious?? I responded that L series is metal mounted and that on their website there was nothing about it being plastic mounted. It's an L series lens -- and is not plastic mounted.Ralph continued to argue with me and I asked to call him back in 10 minutes so that I could do some research to see if I was completely mistaken (since he was so insistent). When I called back 10 minutes later I could not get through to his extension so I left a message that I wanted to cancel my order. I then tried the main customer service line and got through to a guy who said his name was Ralph. "I want to cancel my order," I told him. He said that was fine and proceeded to do so. A few minutes later I got a call from Ralph -- the original one?? -- who had just heard my message I had left him and I told him I had just cancelled my order with Ralph. He said, "Oh, that must have been Ralph in customer service." It must have been. Of course he asked me why I would cancel my order and offered me $50 off of the $1099 price he had just quoted me to get the "metal-mounted one." Seriously? No. My order is cancelled. It better be. Ralph was lying through his teeth. I'm going to let me credit card company to be vigilant with my account since these guys got my card info and are not trustworthy.

I am now going to purchase from a more reputable company. I learned my lesson about trying to save a few bucks.
