"Made an order about a week ago. Two days later, i got a call from somone at USSA to verify my credit card. Since they charged the card, i figured item would be shipped.
Its been a week now and still its says processing. I tried to cancel order but it says processing.
I called them but i can never get in contact with anyone. I am suprised this company is still in business, with all the reports on them, how come they haven't closed down?
Beware and don't EVER ORDER from this store, they WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD AND NEVER SEND YOU ANYTHING..
More people should report them to the BBB and lets hope they get shut down."
"They sent me a bad item with physical damage. So, I asked them RMA number within 3 days after I received the item - I had to call several times for 3days to get RMA number - and, sent it back to them. But they did not refund because the item has physical damage. I emailed them it was damaged when I received. But, They made me a liar. They do not answer the phone at all. they robbed me of my money!! "
"When is this company going to be shut down? All of the people who have been ripped off by this scam might contact the California Department of Consumer Protection."
"DO NOT BUY FROM USSA !!!
I have tried several times to contact this vendor by telephone. Disconnected or something, anyway NO ANSWER.Repeatedly email them. Nothing. I ordered a chipset fan from them and haven't heard anything back from them. It's been over two weeks now. NOTHING !!
UPDATE....8/27/2003...finally got in touch with them and they said item was on back order and didn't know when it would be in. Canceled order.
"
"HORRIBLE! I have dealt with hundreads of online retailers, and never had a transaction go this Bad! I ordered a set of 4 IDE cables for approx 5 bucks a piece with "free shipping" well they charged my credit card 40 dollars with a $5 per cable "handeling charge" I canceled the order after I saw the email receipt bill. A week after they recieved my cancel order request they charged my card anyway and I have been waiting about 5 weeks for a refund. I have tried calling only to get a defective voicemail box and emails telling me to be patient. Anyone who does business with this company will be worse off then going to your favorite local retailer and spending triple. I have called my credit card and have to fill out a disputed charges form now because as far as I can tell it is the only way to force them to give me my refund. I am amazed this company has not been shut down. As you can see by the comments left on this web site, the business practices of this company are way beyond bad, and down right fraudulent."
"This is a very dishonest company. Do not do business with them. I ordered a refurbished floppy drive and they sent me an old dented, filthy dirty floppy drive that was pulled from an old computer. What a joke. To me that is not a refurbished product. It's a used product. Refurbished means it's sent back to the manufacturer and brought back to a like new status. It was definately not worth the couple of bucks I thought I was saving. I'll never order from them again. Shipping time was also very slow and no tracking number."
"Do not do business with this company. They are very hard to contact on phone. I ordered speakers from them online and they told me they shipped them. I didn't receive them so I called them back again. They said it was shipped but there was no tracking number. So I kept calling back and finally I found out after 6 calls that it was out of stock. I still have not received my 150 bucks back. Horrible horrible!"
"I have dealt with many computer parts distributors, and USSA.com is by far the worst. Pay the extra 5 or 10 bucks and get your stuff from newegg. I have a bad motherboard and they refuse to allow me to return it. They want me to flash the bios and update it. This sounds well and good, except that the bios already has the most recent version running already. I have sent 5 or 6 emails to them, and they usually respond quickly, but they simply will not issue an RMA.
I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau, as well as disputing the charges with my credit card company."
"I ordered a CD burner from this company because the price was the cheapest around. The first clue that this company was a joke was the fact that I received 3 emails that were exactly the same which contained very little information about the order. Upon arrival, I opened the box to find that there was a large dent on the drive. Of course it was non-functional when I installed it. The packaging consisted of a few broken pieces of styrofoam. When I tried to request an RMA, the form errored out with an ASP parsing error. I'm currently trying to get my money refunded but have so far been unsuccessful. I would not recommend this merchant to anyone."
"After my threatening email, USSA.com finally called, inquired why I was so unhappy (duh...), and sent promised NVIDIA AGP video card that was missing from complete system.
I'd still beware."
"This is the second time I have ordered from this company, and overall, I am pretty satisfied. They process your order in a reasonable amount of time, and I haven't had any problems with the merchandise.
It would be reassuring if they had a phone number to call - I don't like waiting to hear back by email from someone if I have a question or problem with my order, and although their processing time isn't bad per se, it wouldn't hurt to speed things up just a little."
"Well, I am so sorry I didn't come to this site earlier. The roller coaster ride is only just begun for me. I ordered a KVM switch from them. The order sat in processing for a week (July 8-15) with no email confirming my shipment in sight. They charged my credit card the day I ordered, so I know there was no problem with payment.
I began to get worried, so I emailed them. I looked for their phone number on their website. They deliberately hid it from you! I had to go hunting on my Amex statement to find out what their number is. It's also listed on Pricewatch. I call, I get a chinese sounding woman's voice on an answering machine. I select "order status" and all I get is an answering machine again. I try to leave a message, it would not let me.
So now I decided to email them again, this time threatening to call Amex and have them dispute the charges to my card. This evening I get an email saying my KVM was shipped Fedex, and I get a tracking number (which isn't in the database yet, but I'll keep you guys posted)."
"I ordered a case which arrived today in terrible condition. Both the top and left panels were dented and the right panel was severely scratched. Furthermore, the case was not the the case I had ordered. The product was packaged terribly and the box had a return authorization number on the side which would lead me to believe I am not the fist person they tried to send this garbage to. I will never buy from this company again."
"I Did not get what I ordered. I ordered a BTC 52X24X52X rewriter and got a ARRGO 52X rewriter in it's place. Do not place an order with this establishment."
"Placed order on Saturday, and received the shipment tracking e-mail on Wednesday evening. I ordered a GoldStar CD-RW drive and a set of AOpen speakers, and received an LG Electronics CD-RW drive and a set of Creative speakers. They work great and I'm satisfied, but it's a good thing I didn't need a particular brand name item.
The shipping price per item is the same no matter how many you buy. If it's $4 for one, it's $40 for ten."
