"This company is horrible!!! Stay Away from ordering here!!! I was burned once before on the Internet, and I didn't think that it would happen again......but, surprise!! On Nov. 24, 2002, I purchased two Asus A7N8X motherboards with the intent of Christmas presents for my son and daughter. I am ordering parts from different websites, to put together two complete boxes. The only....reasonable response that I received was when I first placed the order to acknowledge my purchase. The day after I ordered, the website indicated that these boards were no longer available!! I also discovered that the company charged my credit card on Nov. 25th, that same day! I have sent two emails (Nov. 29 and Dec. 2) , to see if there may of been a problem, and I have yet to have received a response!! Their policy is to ship within 5 days of receiving order. Today is Dec. 4, 2002. Their website still indicates the order is processing. Yesterday (Dec. 3), at approximately 10AM, I placed a request to cancel the order (using their web form), as the communication and customer service is non existant, and I wanted to make sure to stay within the time that a purchase can reviewed by my credit card company. I attempted to resend the cancellation, but the website indicated that I had already previously sent a cancellation, verifying their receipt of this cancellation. The cancellation form indicates that there would be a response by telephone or by email. It is now 11AM, the following day, and absolutely nothing has changed!! I considered calling, but after reading what other people have gone through, I feel that this would be fruitless. If they can not answer their email, I can imagine the difficulty they would have with a phone. I am going to wait until 5PM, today, and if all this information still remains the same, I will contact my credit card company to challenge this purchase and request non payment. It is the holidays, and with all the people using the Internet to purchase gifts, I wanted to place this review out there for everyone to see and to warn them how this company conducts business. This morning, I learned this company is a member of the BBB in Fremont, California (read that review), and I plan on contacting them as well. In contrast, I also ordered some new computer cases from Maxcooler.com, and have also placed a review of their company on this website (they know what customer service is all about). Companies that do business like this should be purged from our system, and fortunately with forums like this, this is the one of the means to do it!!!!
Update: Forty five minutes after placing this review, I received an email finally verifying my cancellation from USSA.com. I also contacted Pricewatch.com, immediately after placing this review, as I found this company on their website. Reported the same info to them. It took all this to get something done. I will update again when my credit card is appropriately credited. Wish I knew of this website before placing this order!
Update: Today is Dec. 6, 8:26PM, ET. Called my credit card company, and a credit has still not been placed on my account. I have called my credit card company and placed this issue in dispute. The cancellation email that was last sent, thanked me for shopping at USSA.com, and not even a simple apology. It was if I would shop there again.......yah right!!!!
Update: December 10, 2002, 7:21PM. Still no credit to my credit card. Time continues, and they continue to sit on my money! I sent another email to this company on Dec. 9 and STILL...no answer by any methods. Smells like fraud.....this is what you will deal with if you order here!!
Update: December 12,2002. Just checked my credit card and there was a credit...finally....placed on Dec. 10. It took an email that I was going to report them to the BBB and another email to Pricewatch.com. Through this whole ordeal, never heard...once....from anyone in this organization.
Checkout 11cb.com for a contrasting experience, after the fact, with the same order. See ya !!!!
Update: December 17, 2002. Just received a letter from my bank. The credit mentioned aboved was a provisional credit issued by the bank, which accomodates the dispute I made with the credit card bank. This company still has not credited my account. Again, this company has never contacted me, or sent me any merchandise, and I followed every procedure that they have posted on their website. Good luck, if you order or ordered anything here, you will need it!
Update: March 24, 2003. Just received a call from my credit card company. They were just about ready to charge back this company's charge to my credit card.......again!! Review my posts from when this all started. This company has STILL, never credited my account. I am now, again, working with my credit card company to get this corrected. I will reiterate....DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE!!!!

"I placed a $665 order for a p4 computer system 8 days ago. This going to be the only x-mass gift my daughter wanted. Being a disabled FireFighter money is very tight. Well I place the order got a statement saying the order was recieved and the total payment make.
After 1 week of checking my order it would still show prosesing. Well yesterday Igot a email saying the system was shiped and I got a tracking number. I have tried now for over 24 hours to track this number but Fedex shows no number like that listed. Did I just loose $600 and my daughters hopes and dreams.
So I sent them a email asking why the tracking number will not show up at fedex and if I did get ripped off I would be getting the law into this. So I check today still no working tracking number and the best part is the web page is down! Or they locked me out?
Does anyone have the address and phone number for them so I can call some of my brother Firefighters out there to pay them a vist for me.
Thanks
FIREPLUG"
"This company IS COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. Everything you read here is absolutely true. I thought I was invincible. I have purchased several times and several items over the web. I have just been completely burned.
Stay away from this company. I did not research it before I bought. I merely clicked the hyperlink from Pricewatch and bought my motherboard. When the motherboard arrived I tried to get it to POST to no avail. I scanned several dozen forumns looking for possible fixes and solutions to no avail. I contacted ASUS and went through the basic technician mumbo jumbo with the tech support guy. The tech support guy was really great, but he told me, "Sorry, sir, sounds like you have tried everything I can think of. It sounds like you are going to have to return the board."
I tell you this, I am sending it back to ASUS. I got an RMA number from USSA, but after all of the stories I am seriously afraid to send it back to those charlatans. I have never had a problem buying online, but I am DEFINITELY going to research the company beforehand from now on. It is completely impossible to get through to USSA on the phone. And forget trying to leave a message, their voice mail must misinterpret your message for a command because it tells you every time, Sorry... I can't do that... and then kicks you back to the first message you get when you initially call.
Seriously, these people are bad. Take my advice and the advice of so many others that have posted here. If you got burnt and found this forumn after the fact like I did, please post. If people are serious about getting this company out of business, e-mail me at ****@****. There has to be something we can do. This company is listed with the Better Business Bureau."
"They are lazy. It took 2 months to get refund. I called them more than 3 times to tell.
Note that they don't have full refund policy. At lease they charge 15%."
"I purchased a ASUS A7V333 Motherboard on a Saturday night and received it Tuesday. No problems tracking my order. I will keep them in mind for future online computer related purchase needs. Oh! An excellent price on my board."
"This is not a good company to do business with. The only good thing was that I got what I ordered, the bad thing is they charged double. What makes it worse they do not correct their mistake. It's been 14 days that I wrote an e-mail telling them about the problem and a couple of follow up e-mails. No action, no response.
It seems the real price you pay is twice of what shows up on pricewatch.
----
Update: After several e-mails they still did not refund the second charge. Instead they sent me the same item again. After several more e-mails they refunded the money, but I still have the hassle shipping the second box back. They said they would send a return label to stick on the box. Hasn't come yet."
"I haven't recieved my goods yet, but I have found this company to be very helpful. They retrun their phone calls when they say they will and have accommodated my wish to change my order before taking payment.
So far so good. Thought it was about time someone posted something good, as usually only complaints get registered!"
"Ordered external CD-ROM on 9/9 for local pickup. Billed on 9/9. Was called by company for pickup on 9/10. Actually picked up on 9/11. Summary: Got what I needed in a relatively expedient manner. I did not have a bad experience in using USSA; however, their shipping charge is pretty exhorbitant, especially for a local pickup item."
"This comapny isn't necccarily the fastest to deal with, but i did get my product in a somewhat timely fashion. I ordered a KX7-333 board from this company and recieved it approxiamtely 1-1/2 weeks after ordering. I was expecting the board sooner, as i had requested priority shipping. The package was shipped fedex ground. "
"A joke of a company! Don't buy from them."
"Placed an order for 120gb hard drive on July 11, 2002. Credit card charged immediately upon placing the order. A WEEK later I receive an email stating that my order had been cancelled due to the fact that item is not in stock. How on earth is it possible that it takes them a week to know that an item is not in stock? Should accounting for stock not be a part of the online ordering process?
Logic dictates that upon cancelling my order that they would go ahead and reimburse my credit card account at that time right? Nope, they sure didn't.
USSA seems to be fully aware of credit card company policy which is that billing disputes are given a full 30-day grace period to work themselves out. As of August 11, 2002 I still have not been reimbursed for an order that was cancelled by THEM three or more weeks ago. So all I can possibly assume at this point is that they are keeping my money until the last second they can get away with in order to draw interest on it. Really nice business practice folks! Be sure and send me a Christmas card this year.

Another week passes...it's now August 18th and still no refund for the July 11 order that THEY cancelled.

August 22nd...Credit card company, not USSA, issues me a credit for the order that USSA cancelled in mid-July."
"For those of you that are even considering this company...FORGET IT. I should have read all the comments on this website first, because they are right. USSA is a terrible company with awful tech support and absolutely NO professionalisim. Here was my experience. First I ordered a a7v333 motherboard from the on July 8th. I needed it quickly so I shipped it using the 2day option. I was satisified with the price and the purchase. That was about all I was satisified with. I found it very strange that on Tuesday they charged my Credit card with the total price of the order. Normal companies usually charge you credit card upon proof of delivery. 3 days passed and they're website tracking always said "processing." So i emailed them on Thursday. I didn't get a response until the following Monday. Here they told me they needed me banks phone number so they could confirm my order. I gave it to them. The next day I called my bank to ask if they had called. My bank said "no one has called to confirm your credit card." So on Thursday the 18th I called them and they said they would call me back. The never did. On Friday 12 days after I purchased and shipped it on the "2day" I get an e-mail saying the credit card number could not be matched up with my address. THat is strange because the whole week, including Friday, I have been buying computer parts online with that credit card number. I had no problems except with USSA. I finally gave in and went to cancel my order on Friday and , whats this, what a suprise more problems. It seems I could not cancel the order because it was already shipped out...even though according to USSA it was NOT shipped until I give them a valid credit card number. So I e-mailed them and have yet to hear a response. This was just an awful experence and anyone who is going to buy from them is going to have the same problems."
"June 30, 2002
I have built and serviced many computers, and have purchases from a variety of venders. I have never run into a worse example of unprofessionalism and deceptive representations than with this company. I won't go into details, but among their bad habits, they believe shipping is a 'profit center' which they marked up enormously. After a week of waiting for my "FED-EX" purchase and getting abused from them repeatedly on phone; I re-purchased from another source in their local area at less than 1/10th the FED-EX costs. I hope that gives you an idea about this company. Beware.

Addendum: July 13, 2002
In further of my nightmare with USSA which also has an alias of "Netertainment."
Shortly after I wrote the brief critique and warning which is posted herein, I was contacted in a most submissive and apologetic way by "Jerry" the owner of the company. He apologized and begged me to give him and his company another chance to become a vender. I am a forgiving person and I agreed. I began to design two new systems and drafted purchase orders to be submitted.
Before I completed these orders, I was then alerted that strange charges were made against our corporate charge card. My staff and I poured through all our purchasing records and contacted our bank to find out what the charges were. We spent over four hours and found nothing to indicate we made purchased to an entity call "Netertainment."
Finally, I reasoned that USSA was responsible. I called them and after getting the run around, was put in contact with "Jerry."
His excuse was that a new "girl" put the charges in wrong.
This was THREE WEEKS AFTER THE INITIAL ORDER WAS CANCELED!
This is FRAUD, because they billed us for the order, collect State and Federal sales taxes against our charge card, collect excessive fed-ex charges and never delivered.
They hide their deception with their second name, which was could not be found listed anywhere.
He again apologized for the error ( This time I knew he was lying ). I told he we wasted manpower and overhead and asked him for consideration of some $250 of our time we used. He hesitated. I offered to accept a token $70 harddrive to resolve this. He said he would only do so upon my placing more orders, and he became abusive.
This outfit should be investigated, their books examined by the state and federal tax collectors and the State Board of equalization. The violatey numerous section of the California B & P codes ( Business & Practices ) and pervert the covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing.
For good sake computer friends, avoid these people like the predators that they are.
In truth, Resellers Ratings does not have a rating low enough to reflect the dispicable and deceptive business practices these people do to the unsuspecting public.
God know who else they have exploited with deceptive credit card charges.
Please do not even think about using these people. You will definitely get hurt.

"I just bought a VisonTek GeForce4 Ti 4600 from USSA on June 15. I called on Monday morning figuring they were gonna ship out, they told me Tuesday, so come Tuesday I call them up and still they told me tomorrow, after I got through talkin' w/her she said she would mail out on Tuesday. Well, on their site my order still says "processing" so I took the liberity to calling them back up and still they say tomorrow, tomorrow it'll be shipped out. I would not recommend these people for anything, not even to buy a stick of gum. And the shipping is outrageous also. STAY WAY!!"
"I was searching for a replacement motherboard for my father's machine and ran across ussa.com from a link on pricewatch. They had the motherboard I wanted as listed as in stock but I called the company to verify that it was indeed in stock. I also asked if I ordered it today if I could get it shipped out so I could have it within 2 days so I could have it ready for father's day. The guy on the phone said it was no problem. Well I placed the order not 10 minutes after I got off the phone with them and paid 40 some odd dollars to have it shipped quickly. Thursday comes around.. no motherboard.. friday.. same thing. I finally get an email late on friday saying that my credit card had been charged but that the order was not processed because I was having it shipped to another address. Now I want to know, does it really take 2.5 days to tell me this when I needed the board by now? Come on guys you can do better than that. I emailed them back and told then to just cancel the order and bill it back to my card and I notice that even though I paid 89.50 for the board plus shipping, I've only been credited 81.50 back to my discover card.. are you going to tell me that I have to pay a restocking fee for something that was never even processed? I'm calling my credit card company tomorrow and raise hell with them and I'm contacting the better business bureau in their area and I plan to fill out all the paperwork to lodge a formal complain with them. And I'm leaving negative feedback here, and probably going to smear bad reviews on 5 domains that I control. I'm also going to tell all my friends who order online to never to business with this company and lastly I'm complaining to pricewatch as well. It wouldn't bother me anywhere near as much if it wasn't for the fact that this was for a fathers day gift."
