"This has been a miserable experience. I have no idea why it is so complex to fulfill an order. They cancelled the order in error and I therefore purchased wheels from another vendor. I emailed to make sure that nothing was debited from my account, and they informed me it was all set. I then received an email stating that it was too late to cancel (it had only been one day since I ordered!). I then received another email stating that it had been canceled and the money would be credited to my account. Who knows what these people are doing, they are totally incompetent. I imagine I have a wheel set on its way to the U.S. right now despite extremely clear communication and assurances that it had been dealt with. Oh yes, and my account had been debited with the purchase price!"

"My $180 dollar torque wrench never arrived after 90 days and they refused to send a refund or ship a new item. Just got an email saying there is nothing we can do about it. Save your money!"

"How very disappointing, STAY AWAY! I ordered on 9/28, received the wrong wheels on 10/12, and am still trying to get my money back on 10/24.
I ordered Fulcrum Quattro Pro's (shimano-compatible freehub) and a set of Shimano 105 brakes. I received Campy Shamal Ultra (CAMPY-freehub is incompatible w/ Shimano cassette) and a set of campy brakepads. THEN there was $25.11 postage due!!
They make the return process very inconvenient requiring several communications back and forth, requiring a lot of my time. The Shamals Ultras were about 2.5 times the price of the ones I ordered, so I was doing the right thing. I would estimate about six communications, all necessary b/c of poor customer service.
They even had the nerve in the last 'communication' to ask me the address, weight, dimensions of parcel (even though they ask for pics of the wrong items too, which I sent, that showed the wheels still in the original shipping container).
This has been a very bad experience. Slow ship time, incorrect items shipped, long delay to receipt, slow to attempt to correct mistake, incomplete refund, extra shipping costs, no concern for inconvenience, and disregard for my time. I will file a dispute with the company representing my payment method and counsel anyone who would consider your site for ordering to stay away,"
"I ordered a bike and it never arrived. A couple of months later after a lot of chasing up they told me it was lost in transit, and seeing as that bike was now out of stock, they refunded my money. I told them that I didn't want a refund and I was actually after a bike. I suggested that they could give me an upgrade to the next model to make up for the interest free loan I had given them and my long wait for nothing, and the best they could do was offer me a $58 discount on a bike worth over $3k!! I did not see any of their self proclaimed "relentless commitment to provide customers with a first-class service" nor wanting to "delight customers". My experience is that they certainly do not keep their promises and are more concerned about margins than reputation."

After spending weeks looking at an aero wheelset for my upcoming race season, I decided to buy a set of Reynolds Aero 90 wheelset from Probikekit.
After 4 weeks of me following up and them finger pointing at their supplier not being able to give them a delivery date, and promising that they will resolve this as a matter of priority. I got nothing, in the end, they've cancelled my order and said it was out of stock. After taking the advert off the site following my purchase, they then reposted the same wheelset on their website, yet tell me it is out of stock. This supposedly out of stock wheelset is currently still on sale on their website.
Not only did I missed out on other deals by choosing to support this Site, I've also missed out on other deals while waiting for them to sit on their hands, and now I've got just 2 weeks to scavage a wheelset for the upcoming race.
Never supporting this site again, and regretted spending money with them in the past. I wish I've referred to others online review more often, before spending money online as I could have avoided this situation."
"I asked to change my tyre order from 700c 25 to 700c 23 only minutes after placing the order. I was told that the order was shipped and that was at 10.55 PM, kind of hard to believe that.
There is a moral to this story. Buy locally, the saving of a few dollars is simply not worth the headache.

"These people are terrible. Before I placed my order it said "usually ships within 24 hours", right after I place the order a new message says "estimated to ship within 6 to 9 business days", so I immediately hit CANCEL. It says that the order can not be canceled (why have a cancel button?), so I write to customer service so that they can cancel my order. 30 minutes later I get an email that says that the order has shipped, this is suspicious considering I placed the order at 2 am on a Monday UK time. The next day customer support writes back that they cant cancel because it has shipped, yeah right!!!... 20 days later the order HAS NOT ARRIVED, even though they are past the estimated delivery date. I call customer support again and they answer that I need to give it more time. Then I call again and ask for a supervisor, they say he or she is busy and that I will get a call back, they never called.
I have already called my bank and I am declining the payment. NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE, go to Ebay or Amazon and you can get the same price from a reliable company."
"I ordered 4 bicycle chains on Probikekit.co.nz in July.
The price included freight and thus I thought that it is an NZ company.
You don’t find any statement on their homepage that probikekit is an overseas company.
I didn’t check the fine print which indicates(d) that is a UK company. My fault.

2. 31.07.17 I got an information that the goods are shipped.
3. 09.08.17 I got a cancellation of the shipment. It was not executed.
4. 10.08.17 Probikekit : a warehouse issue. Still to be investigated.
5. 14.08.17 I asked again for the goods
6. 14.08.17 Probikekit The supplier can not provide any date for a shipment
7. 15.08.17 Same message again : The supplier can not provide any date for a shipment
I asked for a refund
8. 16.08.17 Probikekit : the goods are shipped. I only thought how is that possible ?
9. 31.08.17 I asked : Where are my goods ? And please provide a tracking No
10. 31.08.17 Probikekit informed me that the goods were shipped without tracking by mistake
11. I didn’t get any goods – as expected. I asked for a refund.
12. 13.09.17 : Probikekit admitted that the goods were not shipped.
I have to sign the “Non-Receipt of goods” disclaimer due to internal processes
13. 20.09.17 The refund discussion started :
• I emailed my bank details such as bank account , SWIFT code (routing No) and BSB
• Probikekit didn’t accept that because it is not according to their security standards
• I called them and forwarded the bank details
• The first attempt failed because they don’t know the BSB number
Another phone call
• The second attempt failed because the routing No was wrong
Another phone call ….
Currents status 08.10.2017 : I’m still waiting for my money. We are talking about approx. 80 pounds = 145 NZD.
Summary.
The offer was pretty good at that time.
Hindsight I could have saved 10 pounds. Is it really worth to order at SCAM company PROBIKEKIT ?
Some people have good experience. But most of the customers are not satisfied with the offered service. I would not buy at Probikekit .
It is closer to Christmas. Do you want to enjoy Christmas or do you want to run into problems with probikekit due to a few dollar you might save ?

"Ordered a saddle a month ago from probike.com.
After 4 weeks, I still have not received it.
Because I selected standard shipping, it presumably does not come with tracking number.
I have no evidence the item has shipped.
When I contacted their support online, I was given the runaround suggesting I should wait more.
This feels like a scam."
"Ordered some bike parts as they had best Was given a 2 week estimated for delivery to the US. It is now a month later and now idea where the package is. Tracking link provide does not give and information and support does not know were the package is either but say it will be here at the latest 40 days after I ordered it. Would not recommend for US online buyers."

"Ordered a pair of Fulcrum Racing Wheels from ProBikeKit as they were materially less than other resellers - a coupon code I found and the free shipping (from Europe to the US!) made it an even better deal. After ordering, I received my shipment tracking code and everything was fine until a few hops into the tracking the package stopped moving. I became concerned and after more additional research on PBK I found the derogatory reviews on this site. I reached out to PBK's customer support who were very helpful on multiple occasions and assured me the package is still in route. Turns out the delay was due to U.S. Customs. Once the package cleared customs it arrived at my house in short order. I did have to pay duty on the wheels, but the total cost was still much less than I could have purchased the wheels elsewhere."

AFTER FIGHTING OVER AND OVER PERSISTENTLY ON THE PHONE I MANAGED TO TALK TO THE MANAGER WHO APOLOGISED AND SAID THAT WITHIN 24-48 HOURS THEY WOULD REFUND ME BUT THAT THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE ITEM TO GO BACK TO THEIR STORE.
THIS IS INSANE, I NEVER SEEN THE ITEM, THEY DECIDED NOT TO DELIVER, THEY STOPPED IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DELIVERY AND I GOT THE BLAME FOR NOT RECEIVING IT.
THINGS GET EVEN MORE BIZARRE. THE DAY AFTER TALKING TO THE MANAGER THE ITEM MAGICALLY APPEARED ON MY DOOR STEP. OF COURSE I DIDN'T EVEN LET THE BOX LAY ON MY FLOOR AND I SENT IT BACK RIGHT AWAY AS I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY TRIED TO SELL ME THE ITEM DESPITE ME TELLING THEM THAT "ALL I WANTED WAS MY MONEY BACK".
MONDAY, JULY 3RD, STILL NO NEWS ON MY MONEY. I PLACED THE ORDER ON THE 22ND AND MORE THAN TEN DAYS AFTER NO NEWS ON THE REFUND. I SPOKE TO MY BANK AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL TAKE ACTION AFTER 15 DAYS I HAVE ARISEN THIS ISSUE WITH THEM.
ALL I CAN RECOMMEND IS NOT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY ARE VERY QUICK AT TAKING YOUR MONEY AND YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE PAID FOR AT ALL, WITH THE RISK OF HAVING YOUR MONEY TAKEN AND NEVER RETURNED. "I agree with others here. PBK is no longer worth it. I was just charged 25% duty on a shipment of tires that I waited 4 weeks for. I would much rather support and give my money to a local retailer than send my cash to these anonymous shippers. Won't use them again and will warn everyone I know off of them."
"This is an extremely dishonest operation that needs to be shut down. They state nowhere on their site, which is called Pro Bike Kit CANADA that they are based in the UK. As a Canadian, I was therefore hit with over $50 in duties and handling fees on a $100 item. Also, I ordered an item that the website said was black, and it turned out to be light grey. When I contacted them, they were extremely dismissive. They did not even acknowledge the colour issue and said that their website fine print waived away their responsibility for duties and fees. Even so, they pretend to be in Canada, so for Canadian customers, that does not even seem relevant. They take no responsibility and blame everything on customers. If I returned the item, I would be $30 out of pocket for return shipping and who knows if they would even issue a refund. I will have to resort to eBay to cut my losses. I am happy to add to their deservedly abysmal rating. Please help spread the word and put these scammers out of business!"
