"i had placed an order idk 2 months ago the company canceled the order they refuse to reach out to tell you why they canceled them i will not change the star rating on them as i will never use them as there crooked and a scam the government should shut them down because of the scams there putting out. i did reach out the customer service a dam joke they wont help you they call you stupide ."

"One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Ordered a couple of AIO Printers because they advertised guaranteed 2 day shipping and I needed for a customer. Apparently, they ship through Staples so there's no tracking. 2 Days later their site says, "Out For Delivery" I was out for the day, and they weren't there when I got home. Checked the site and low and behold there was an entry for both orders at 10:30am, "Customer requests Future or Redelivery" Uhhh, no, I did not. Contacted them and nobody was able to give me a straight answer. Then, all of a sudden I get an email that one of the orders was cancelled and a replacement order was placed, for delivery in TWO MORE DAYS. I called them again and told them I wanted them tomorrow, not a new order, and it was like Keystone Kops. Nobody could do anything. Well, the next morning the two orders were unceremoniously dropped at my door, no notice, no bell ring, but the 3rd order they made was still pending. I called, I emailed, I emailed both Staples and Quill Executives asking that the 3rd order be cancelled and not delivered. All I heard from Customer Service was they can't stop it, it's "already been dispatched for delivery" TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE? With a local Truck Delivery? And they couldn't make a phone call to Staples and say, "DON'T DELIVER IT????" Please. Two days later, again, they unceremoniously drop the 3rd one on my doorstep, IN THE POURING RAIN, with NO plastic wrapping. No doorbell ring, no notice it was left. I eventually found it there and again contacted everyone, including Social Media and told them to come pick it up, and all they do is send me a label, like I have to now take it somewhere to ship it back to them. Finally, late that day the head of Quill CS finally emails me a rude email telling me to keep it, but they're closing my account, lol. THANK YOU! Like I would've ever ordered from these clowns again. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place like the plague. Nothing but headaches and incompetence. Check out all the BBB complaints"
"Web site will tell you if you spend a certain amount of money they will wave handling fees. Amount is removed on your cart bill but they add it back in on your your credit card final bill. Tried to cancel order and they refused to cancel. Bait and switch rip off"

They shipped it using FedEx. The worst shipper in my area.
Received notice on 6-29 my package would arrive on 6-30
Received another notice the same day deliver had been updated to 7-1
Receive notice on 7-1 my package was out for delivery
Received another notice the same day that package was delayed and scheduled for a 7-1 delivery
Received a notice 7-2 package was delayed and scheduled for a 7-5 delivery
Finally got 7-5."
"How can any company ship products without some kind of outer packaging? Quill does and trying to talk to their customer service is worthless. Item damaged in shipment and they could care less. I'm done ordering from them."

Drop shipping from manufacturer or distributor without any knowledge of stock availability
"They drop ship from the manufacturer or some other distributor. Site says a product is in-stock and they give an impressive date by which it will be delivered, for free! But they don't have the stock. They don't have any apparent way of monitoring the status of the stock. When a week goes by and the shipping date has been pushed out twice they continue to say that all is well and you will get the item soon, and this time you can trust them, sorry about the inconvenience from before. But "sorry" is meaningless if you aren't changing your behavior to prevent it from happening again. I believed them twice, waiting week after week with no sign that it will ever be shipped. Finally canceled my order, and even that was a headache with stupid questions like "what is the company name" when if they even glanced at the order details they could see that no company name was on the order, so it's just a waste of time to ask that.
No doubt the customer service agents hate their job. They are definitely fielding a lot of these issues right now. Yes, Covid-19 **** and has messed things up. But the core issue here predates Covid-19 presumably by years: They list things as in-stock which are not, and either they don't know the actual status or they continually lie about it. Neither is good. Neither is the product of Covid-19.
If it's not in stock it should say that very clearly before the order is placed. Do not give a date 3 days in the future when the customer is told it will be delivered if there isn't even anything available to ship. This is basic and obvious, yet it continues to escape them. As a result you can't trust anything on the site or info from their customer service agents. I will never again buy anything from Quill."

"Placed an order on 4/14 for in-stock items. 15 days later still no shipping confirmation and can't get a straight answer. They have told me twice that my order is in "credit review" but they charged my credit card instantly after I placed the order and I do not have a credit account with them. I now have to file a fraud claim with my bank to get my money back. Very poor customer service and seems to be a very poorly run company. I would advise anyone to stay away from this business."
"I have been doing business with Quill for 2 years. I am a small business owner and order all my office supplies through them. I ordered toner in January 2019 and it never showed. I then ordered and paid for another and it came. Since that time Quill has been sending me emails and bills stating I owe for the toner. Every time they communicated to me I called them to discuss the issue. After a year of back and forth they threatened to send me to collections. I paid the bill and will never do business with them."
