Morons!!!!!!!!!
"I placed an order on the HD website September 20, 2018 from the North Spokane, WA store. Received an email confirmation with delivery for today September 26, 2018 (HD only delivers once/week in this area). Getting late in the PM so I went online and clicked on the "Order Status" button in their email and was taken to what looked like the HD home page, with no information whatsoever regarding my order. Called the Cust. Service 800 # and spoke with a rep. Gave her the Order # and she tried to pull up the order status and said the system was telling her the order was still being processed! I said that was ridiculous since the order was placed last week. She said she'd call the store to find out the status and put me on hold. She came back on the line and said the store's CS rep would call me to give me a status update?? WTH? Apparently they have no real idea what's going on. An hour later I called the North Spokane, store and they tell me the order is coming from Sandpoint, ID. There's nothing in their email about this and the store rep said sometimes if another store is closer they will shift delivery to that store. (I actually tried ordering some other items from the Sandpoint store and the HD site WOULD NOT LET ME!) On hold now with the North Spokane store while they call Sandpoint, but the rep said the items I've ordered have not been "picked" yet. Rep just came back and said the Sandpoint store can't send the items out until NEXT WEEK!!! they are backed up - So I've been waiting around ALL DAM DAY for this delivery AND NO ONE HAS THE COURTESY TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW THEY AREN'T DELIVERING MY ORDER TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to cancel the HD card and move all my building supply shopping to Lowes."

Rip-Off Company!
"Paid $75.00/month for unlimited data but only got 200 megabytes because T-Mobile has no cell towers in this area. Called in May to ask what was going on and rep said since T-Mo has no cell towers I was on AT&T network and data is capped at 200 megabytes. Told him I wasn't paying $75.00/month for essentially no data and he agreed it made no sense and said he would switch me to their $25.00/month plan with no data. That was late May. On June 9th I switched service to AT&T so I could get data. On June 19th T-Mobile bills me another $75.00 (takes it out of my account). Call and they say they couldn't switch during the billing cycle. Yet they have charged me $75.00 for the UPCOMING billing cycle! So T-Mobile has charged me $150.00 for 2 months of "Unlimited" data service and I've gotten a total of 200 megabytes of data! You could not PAY ME TO GO BACK TO T-MOBILE!!!!!!"

Update - Adorama fixed the problem!
"I wanted to provide an update to my review about a defective SD card purchased from Adorama. Incredibly (in this day and age where Customer Service is sorely lacking) Adorama came through and refunded me the purchase price and shipping cost for the defective SD card - many thanks to them! They also offered some additional incentives for my troubles. Thank you to Jen and Adorama! The only reason I dinged them on Customer Service was because initially the CS representative was unwilling to remedy the issue."

Technical glitches up the ying yang!
"I'm trying to purchase a TV on Amazon. I log in, place the TV I want to buy in my cart, select the payment (confirm the credit card number) select the correct address and the screen to Place Order comes up. I press the Place Order button and the screen pops up a spinning wheel as though the transaction is being processed, but then the screen with the Place Order button comes back up. I've tried at least 20 times to place the order. Called Amazon and spent over an hour on the phone, had them do the "screenshare" to see exactly what is happening, and after more than an hour they say there is a technical problem on their end and can I log off and wait 2 hours and try again. (They also don't like that I'm using Firefox and keep asking me to use Google Chrome. I don't have Chrome on ANY of my three computers - two mac and one PC.) Then they ask me to delete all of my cookies and browsing history. I do that - on all three computers and every F'ing time the same thing happens. I get so fed up I go online and download Google Chrome to see if that "fixes" the issue. Same dam problem. What's even more ludicrous, AMAZON doesn't allow purchases over the phone so even though I've allowed them to see my account and they can see the TV in the basket, and can see me push the Place Order button, they won't place the order for me! What a bunch of MORONS! So now it's three hours later and I try again - same dam result! Call Amazon, the first woman hangs up before I even get a chance to say what is going on. Call back and go through the entire spiel again with another rep - who again asks if I can use Google Chrome (is Amazon getting a kickback from Google for every person they get to install Chrome?). The rep says can I place you on hold and get some more information. After being on hold he comes back on and apologizes and says that unfortunately, they've sent a report to their techs, but they HAVEN"T FIXED THE PROBLEM AND CAN I TRY AGAIN IN 24 Hours. WTF!!!! So this is a multi, multi BILLION $ company and they can't get their dam site to process an order. I'm going to demand my Amazon Prime fee back and search for another source to purchase this TV. SCREW YOU AMAZON!!!!!!"

Avoid if possible!
"I ordered two Walthers passenger cars from Lantz/Wholesale Trains on January 15, 2016. The total price for the two cars was $72.01. On January 20th I received an e-mail from Lantz (I didn't know who "Lantz" was the before this e-mail and at first thought it was bogus) notifying me that the "Order" had been shipped. Today, I picked up the mail and there was a small Priority Mail package so I wondered what it was. When I opened the package there was a single Walthers passenger. Wait a minute, I ordered two cars. I went back to the e-mail from Lantz and there was NOTHING about the order being "short" and I have not received any subsequent e-mails from Lantz/Wholesale Trains. The car they shipped cost just over $32.00 - and the shipping charge was $11.15! That's absolutely ludicrous - and BS! Wholesale Trains' web site doesn't provide any information about shipping charges or offer alternatives to having the item shipped other than Priority Mail. I should have figured something was up because when I was ready to complete the order there was NO SHIPPING CHARGE listed. In fact, the Invoice I received had the following statement - Additional Information: We appreciate your business at WholsaleTrains.com. We will send you an e-mail confirmation of your order within two business days. This e-mail will include: 1. Confirmation of Your Wholesaletrains.com Order Number 2. A confirmation of the final total of items purchsed, not including any shipping. 3. Your Customer Number (for new customers) And here is the full e-mail I received from these bozos - Thank you for ordering from Lantz Hobby Shop. We are delighted to have you as a customer. We thought you would like to know that your order 201085703 has been processed and shipped from our warehouse. Lantz Hobby Shop has sent you a shipment via USPS The tracking number is: 9405510200793857726433 Have a great day! Lantz Hobby Shop Shipping Dept. NOT A WORD ABOUT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ITEMS SHIPPED OR THE FINAL PRICE!"

"Update: I received an apology from Markertek and they are going to refund the shipping charges since I had cancelled the order prior to its being shipped and they shipped it by mistake. I ordered a hood for an Ikan monitor. However, I ended up not purchasing the Ikan so I sent Markertek an e-mail to cancel the order (the hood was on back order so it had not shipped). A few days later I received a call from a Markertek sales rep telling me the hood had come in and would I want the hood. I told the rep I decided not to purchase the Ikan monitor so I no longer needed or wanted the hood. The next day I received an e-mail from Markertek that the hood had shipped. I sent an e-mail to Markertek asking WHY they had shipped out the hood since I no longer needed it and HAD CANCELLED the order the prior week. I received an e-mail back that "unfortunately" the hood had been shipped in spite of me telling the rep NOT TO SHIP IT and I could just refuse the shipment, which I did. So just now I received an e-mail from Markertek that they received the item and credited my card MINUS THE SHIPPING FEE!!! What the hell? They shipped this even though they called and said since it had come in would I still want it - and I told them NO. I'll NEVER purchase anything from these bozos!"

"I ordered hardwood flooring from iFloors. The flooring arrived with a couple of damaged boxes and a few damaged pieces, but there was enough undamaged flooring that I didn't bother to file a complaint. After installing I had to order some threshold pieces, so I went online and placed an order on March 13. I received a confirmation e-mail from iFloors on the 13th and now a week later was wondering where my threshold pieces were so I called iFloors. I spoke with a rep to find out the status of the shipment and after placing me on hold he came back and said that the flooring has shipped today - March 21. I asked why it took eight days for this order to ship and he said the threshold pieces were a special order. I asked why iFloors hadn't notified me that these were special order since no where on their web site does it indicate that. The rep said that if I had called them they would have told me these were special order pieces? I asked why they didn't indicate that on their web site and didn't receive an answer other than that I should have called them?? I had planned to purchase additional flooring from iFloors for my master bedroom but have decided to go with another vendor since their prices are dramatically higher now than what I paid for the original flooring from them. (They advertise "free" shipping now whereas I paid a $99.00 shipping charge however, the price increase at @ $0.60 per SF works out to a $165.00 increase over what I paid."

"I ordered a c computer from CostPi.com on October 26th, 2012. I called first to make sure it was in stock and not re-furbished and was told they only sell new merchandise. I received a tracking number from them on October 29th, but when I tried to track the package it took until November 1 for ay tracking info to appear. I sent an e-mail while waiting for the tracking information, to try to find out what was going on, but never received a response. I got especially concerned when I finally was able to get the tracking information since it said the shipment had an "Actual Weight" of 0.1722 pounds. HP's web site says the specific computer I ordered weighs 68.34 pounds. I've tried calling CostPi.com at least 15 times and every time there is a recording to wait while Grasshopper transfers the call to Extension 0. After a few minutes listening to music while on hold, a recording comes on to leave a message. I have left messages, but have yet to receive a return call. I called UPS to check on the weight and was told it could be an error on the part of the shipper. However, I did some more searching on the web and found a 15 page thread of others who have been scammed by CostPi.com. Orders for graphics cards that when the tracking information was received stated that the shipments were well under half a pound and when the package was delivered, they received some junk rather than the high cost item(s) ordered. I called Chase and they say I have to wait until the package actually arrives before I can file a claim against CostPi.com. So a word to the wise, DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM COSTPI.COM - IT'S A SCAM!!! Follow-up November 9, 2012 - I received the package in my mail box today - this was supposed to be an HP Z820 Workstation. What I received was a USPS mailer with - hold your breath - a USB cable!!! Please, please, this is a scam par excellence!"

"I just ordered a Nikon D800 and lens from Samy's Camera yesterday for overnight delivery. Received an e-mail from them with the purchase information listing the items and price, etc. The payment was to be processed using my Discover Card. Just now, I received an e-mail from Samy's that because this was my first purchase with them, I would have to use an alternate form of payment - either Paypal or wire transfer. As a follow-up, I just looked at my Discover Card account and see that Samy's has submitted a charge for the full amount of the camera purchase, even though they say I have to use another form of payment. So now I have to wait until they remove the "pending" charge so I can purchase the camera from another site. What morons! (Of course just about EVERY merchant does this, which is incredibly infuriating!) This is just BS so I'm taking my business elsewhere and I would suggest others do the same!"

"I ordered the Canon ipf6300 printer from these guys on the 19th. I was told it would ship out probably yesterday (the 22nd of Nov) and I would receive an e-mail notification. No e-mail, so I called to day to find out what was going on. Twice. Finally got a call back from Sam apologizing for the delay in responding to me and uploading the order for the printer. Bottom line, he tells me the price on their web site, which they Invoiced me for was incorrect and the actual price of the printer would be @ $300.00 more than the $2,399.00 price on their web site. This after I called and spoke with them last week and they again verified the $2,399.00 price. So they can't sell me the printer for the price they have advertised. I checked again this afternoon and they still have the printer listed at $2,399.00 - you can check it out yourself at http://www.mpex.com/ You have to add the printer to the cart to get the $2,399.95 price (which again is actually not available). So my advice is to avoid this store. Since they gave me no option I cancelled the order and ordered from another vendor."

"I ordered a Sony Aino from Mobile City. Their web site stated that this was an import, but that it came with the included wireless MH100 remote and EC100 desk charger. When the phone arrived, the charger and headphones were not included. Just a wall charger and wired headphones. I called Mobile City to tell them I didn't receive the items listed on their web site and after checking, they agreed to send me a desk charger and wireless remote - nice of them. Unfortunately, the phone did not include the apps (GoogleMaps, Twitter, etc.) that are on the 8 gig micro SD card that comes with the US version. I just checked their web site, which they have now changed and now they don't list the desk charger or headphones with the Aino. Worst of all, they don't even list them for the US version, which all the other on-line sellers do include. I found another on-line seller that has the US version with the headphones, desk charger, and 8 Gig card included for $349.00. Mobile City lists their US version (without any of the extras) for $409.00. I really like the phone. However, I lucked out and you might want to look elsewhere to get the "whole" package."

"I ordered the Spyder3 Studio SR on the 9th of February. I received an e-mail on the 10th from the Post Office with the tracking number and a link to the USPS web site for tracking the package. I clicked on the link and went to the web site, entered the number. The only information provided was that the USPS had received an electronic notice that a mailing label had been printed, but there was no information that the item had actually shipped. I logged on to the USPS site again today, the 12th of February and entered the same mailing label number and received the exact same info that the USPS had been notified that the mailing label had been printed. I tried contacting Calibration-Direct and got voice mail. I then went to their web site to send an e-mail and after submitting, the next page indicated I would receive a response within 24 "business" hours. Since this is Friday, that means no information until Monday of next week. I then called the USPS and after some trials, was able to speak to a human being. I told her what was going on and gave her the label information. She then told me that the service Calibration-Direct had used does not provide tracking information. It only provides them (and the purchaser) with a confirmation that the item has been delivered and signed for. This is useless, since first, I have to be at home to sign for the delivery, but I have no idea when it is going to be delivered. Second, if I'm at home and sign for the delivery, why the heck do I need to go to the USPS web site to find out that I've received the delivery. I would not consider using this operation again."
