"Bought a Bissell rug cleaner with chronic problems at Best Buy Tallahassee, FL. Also bought extended warranty that guaranteed "no lemons" The geek squad is unable to fix the machine (nozzles were cleaned last 2 visits) No help from best buy although the machine has 14 months of warranty left.THis is the 5th repair attempt, Best Buy claims 4th. I was emailed yesterday and was told to pick up the machine but when I made the long drive to pick it up tonight it wasn't there. My last trip to best buy!
Best buy was once a good store but must be having financial or other problems to treat loyal customers so badly."
"I ordered piece of outdoor equipment from midway and it arrived quickly but it was defective with a broken part. I called midway and was told
"no problem" we'll ship you one tomorrow since the company is next door to us. I was then then transferred to "customer service" where the story began to change. We can get the part out in a couple of weeks. I decided to return the product to midway but thinking of packaging the item and sending it back, I decided to call one more time and now the shipping time went from a couple of weeks to several weeks. I called the company that makes the product and the part will be shipped tomorrow. The people at midway were polite and professsional but didn't seem to eager to help out an old customer. They could have picked up the phone and got the part on the way. The staff was really polite but really lacked the most important part of customer service, helping the customer."
"I Bought a Gateway FPD2185W from a reseller that promised me that Gateway would sell me an additional 2 year warranty. Gateway refused to sell me the extended warranty. So I had a $600 monitor with a short 1 year warranty. Of course the monitor went bad a few months out of warranty and I now have a $600 piece of junk. Gateway refused to replace/ repair the monitor even if I paid for the repair.
Gateway has turned into another skid row company that misleads the customer. Live and learn."

"I bought a PSU back in 2006 and never got a receipt, only a packing list with the order.
The PSU died and I need a receipt to get warranty replacement. I could see the purchase on my account, but after 2 emails trying to get a receipt copy I realized all I was getting was a "runaround".
I used to enjoy shopping at ZZF but my last few attempts to purchase things there have been bad.
To sum up my observations, everything will be fine if they have what you order in stock and you don't have to return a product, the least complicated things can become very complicated. It seems problems arise with any customer related service."

"I found a really low online price on a brand name motherboard at Micro Center. I don't know if it was a price error or an intentional sale. Micro Center received many more orders than they had motherboards on the first day this was offered.
Most companies would have simply sent out an email stating the item was out of stock but Micro Center did the right thing for the customers and honored the numerous orders at the extremely low price.
I've used Micro Center in the past and have always had great service and combined with their effort to aquire and ship the motherboards, Micro Center has my highest respect and I plan to use them for all future business."
